This extension is truly exceptional with its incredible usefulness, precision, and modern interface that far surpasses the outdated Windows widget. Huge credit to the developers for creating such an impressive and indispensable tool that deserves every bit of 5 stars!

Way too many features behind a pay wall.

I absolutely love this extension because it gives me a complete weather report with all the juicy details! Plus, it shows the temperature right in the browser toolbar, so I don't have to open the app every time I want to check the weather. And the best part? Most of the features are completely free! Of course, there are a few that require a paid subscription, but overall, it's an amazing tool for anyone who wants to keep track of the weather in different locations. I highly recommend giving it a go!

Like others have pointed out, several features are behind a paywall. That isn't the part that bothers me. There is NO mention on its Chrome page in the store of several features only available with premium (paid). I had even looked at their actual website, before I installed the extension, to see the pricing levels. The entire site says 'free' with no mention of several features being paid. To me? This is seriously misleading advertising. What worries me? Why would they go out of their way to lie? I can't help but wonder if this ext sells your data. I'm uninstalling it because of lack of transparency and actually flat out lies.

This is just what I was looking for! Beautiful layout and simple, very useful info at a glance. With this, I can have enough weather info (UV Index and more) I want and I don't need to go to weather websites for it.

The interface is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. The layout is clean and well-organized, making it easy to quickly find the information you need. The daily and hourly forecasts are always accurate and up-to-date. Another feature that I really appreciate is the ability to add multiple locations. If you are looking for a reliable and convenient way to stay on top of the weather, this extension is definitely worth trying. It is by far the best weather extension on the Chrome web store!

Locks previously-free features behind a paywall. It was never a very accurate with the forecasts, anyway. Will be switching to another extension.

I’ve been using this app since 2020 and it works very well. Tells me everything I wish to know about my local weather. I love that I can see the temperature without having to click through multiple windows. It is just there. No interference to browsing and non invasive. Great tool to have. Definitely recommend it.

A simple, nice weather extension. Short, sweet, and exactly what I wanted. Easy to read and good image of forecast. The free version is good, but I just upgraded to the pro version and love all the useful data.

I have been using this extension since April 2021. I love its detailed forecast and that the temperature is always easily and readily visible and accessible.

thank you for providing the extension for free for 3 years, and I know you want to make it financially sustainable, but hiding already provided features behind a paywall just isn't the way!

It was a great app, used it everyday to see what the weather was gonna be, but new they've locked 30 day forecast and radar behind a paywall. It was free before, make a new feature and lock that behind a paywall.

I liked it up until they force you to pay for basic features like Radar. Why has everything on the internet been monetized including looking at weather radar?

Its a great little app. Well worth installing.

My teensy little town doesn't even have its own zipcode, but this app has it, *and* it's easy peasy to use! That's all I know so far, but wow - that's already better than most of the rest!

I love it. Been using it for 3 or more years. Innocuous in your tool bar, easy navigation with everything you need know before stepping outside by the hour or week.

i like this app very much . its easy to get around in and has a great format . it is very informational and easy to read . it's awesome as far as i'm concerned .keep up the good work .

The main purpose of weather extension suppose to be provide at least accurate temperature in real time. This one doesn't do this simple task well and it is bad. It doesn't have good weather provider as well such as weather.com or msn.com or foreca.com and there are no option inside the extension to select different provider. I used to have this extension for a few times in the past and deleted it again as it wasn't accurate or was buggy or all together. I just wanted to see if there are any improvements. At the moment once again my main concern is the weather provider with not accurate date at the 1st place.

Better functionality than windows 11 weather widget, and with none of those annoying notifications Microsoft decided to start adding with their latest update. Customizable, and unobtrusive, I love it. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic extension. It could use a bit of tweaking, but nothing worth deducting a star over, not even close. Definitely the best weather extension I've tried.

This is a great extension. No BS, just the weather. I like how I can glance at my browser and see the current temp. It gives all the info I want regarding the weather: hourly, daily, forecast, etc. I am glad I chose this extension for my weather info.

Love having the outside temperature on my toolbar. I can easily click to get more information about the weather and air quality today and extended forecasts.

Wow, so full of options and includes even the most remote cities in Brazil that other sites don't offer! Very good utility.

Good. Sometime it misses the current temperature by 1-5 Degree Celcius though

Loving how it add's detail's on when something important happens like when a tornado or hurricane start's and how you can search up when your area is so you can see your weather in your area

This extension is amazing. There is no understating it. It's incredibly user-friendly, providing a wealth of information in a neat and easily digestible format. The graphics are pleasing to the eye and engaging to the user. I was especially impressed by the unobtrusive inclusion of Recommended Sun Protection. I feel like this is an extension I could recommend to anyone, even the least tech-savvy or weather illiterate. Best of all, there is no insistence on making this my New Tab extension, which was most of the reason I ultimately passed over other options like AccuWeather. Installation was as simple as one click; no hoops to jump through to make it fit my enduring preferences. UV Weather is everything I am looking for in a weather app and more.

I like the layout and functionality of this extension. It's always available and has good flexibility in displaying different locations across the globe. I just wish it was accurate. It consistenly misses temperatiure forecasts for my local area by as much as 5degC, always too low.

I have been looking for accurate weather without the ads. This is precise and NO ADS! I love it.

IT'S SO GOOD!! there's actually no reliable weather app for mac on the app store and any of the weather sites are inconvenient because you wanna see the weather immediately not search for it and most are riddled w/ ads since they have no other means of earning revenue. SO... i searched chrome web store for a widget and i am so glad i did! this weather widget is not just the best widget i've seen, its better than any weather website and app combined! installed so quickly and immediately it showed the temperature like spooky fast. no lag while it "searches for your location" it was instant so i decided i'd pause and see if what it showed was the same as the temp on my phone and it was spot on lol. i opened the widget it had my location dead on, checked the hourly and the temps and rain percentage were the exact same as accuweather app AND the best part the radar pulled up so smoothly and began showing immediately where the storms were. Seriously even Accuweather radar has a 2-3 second lag before it gets it together lol i never leave reviews but this widget deserves it i'm absolutely loving it!

I use it with Brave and it's great, but if I have Dark Mode set in my browser, it doesn't matter how I set the UV app, I can't see the temperature number in the icon toolbar in the upper right because it's too dark. Changing Dark/Light mode in the app has zero effect on the color of the temperature digits, which are dark grey. So unfortunately the only solution for me is to be able to see the temperature is to turn off dark mode in the browser. UV weather is fantastic, but I wish this issue didn't exist because I like having my browser in dark mode.

100% Accurate Prediction

It works perfectly fine BUT on the latest Google Chrome update Version 102.0.5005.63 (Official Build) (64-bit) the weather temperature numbers are not visible and contrast with the black background.

it will be nice if there was a time limit when it is day it will be on light mode and when it is night it will be on dark mode but this a nice app.

Awesome weather extension. Had it a cuppla times in the past and it stopped working and I received no response from the developer, so I removed it. Thought I'd give it another try since is the best one out there and the most recently updated. I am wondering, though, why the options is grayed out. In an older version, I could change the look of the temperature icon. Still, 5 stars for being well laid out and informative.

Would be perfect if there was some way to resize the pop-up window or scale its contents. The pop-up window is too small for what it's trying to contain and no matter what I do the text is out of place and in places it's actually over the top of other text. Tried adjusting Win10 app scaling, adjusting Chrome's zoom level, changing screen resolution, changing monitors, etc. - nothing fixes it. Same issue in the settings window. Some of the options are off the edge of the window and stick out past their rounded-rectangle boxes. Most of this can be worked around by scrolling horizontally, but it does make it look awkward in what is an otherwise excellent extension. Be really curious to hear what the devs think is causing this. :)

I really like how this extension looks and work. I donated $5 for that reason.

I really loved it! There is a little problem, when i turn it into dark mode it turns into light mode automatically another day. But it's not a big problem( i m just blabarring it's already there) , i really recommend this extension to everyone!

It's pretty good, has a lot of potential to grow. And it's open source! Yes, there are ads, but pretty unobtrusive. Nice app.

Aesthetics are nice. Needs a little work on location updating although this could be related to my computer. Also needs a different font for temperature widget next to address bar. The current one is a little blocky looking lol. Loaded with some nice features though and its free so can't beat that.

checking edit comment !!!!!!!!!!!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$Great replacement for YoWindow, which requires Flash but Google is removing support at end of 2020. I appreciate that no permissions are required. Wind has a significant affect on comfort level, and the AccuFeel number reflects that, but would be nice to show actual wind speed in Home screen without having to click on Full Report; there is lots of room to include this on left side just below AccuFeel. Also, with all the empty space on the right side of Home, why show just partial info for only next 2 days? Would be more efficient to show all that good info on the Daily screen (next 7 days) to eliminate extra clicking. Lastly, adding wind speed to basic info on extension bar when cursor hovers over icon would be a bonus. Thanks!

It was good, but sometimes it is the wrong weather. Like it says its going to rain but its sunny. But still a great extension

While there is blue sky out my window, I expect it's cloudy somewhere in my zip code zone as rain is heading my way. I enjoy the way outside temperature is displayed, then can view more with one click!

Great on features. Obviously the data from where it sources all the info may or may not be accurate depending on world location. For my location it is accurate. The only improvements I wish for are if it could show humidity or the air quality index (AQI) as the main icon (like Windows 10 shows AQI on the taskbar). In the location where I live, the humidity and air quality/pollution vary greatly as per season but the temperature is pretty much constant because it's a temperate humid climate. So these two options in main icon would be very useful.

Most of these extensions do not have a forecast for my rural area. They fallback to cities within an hour of my zip code, but I live in the mountains at the edge of an escarpment, and the weather varies widely and quickly- 10 degrees within a 30 minute radius, and more precipitation, The difference is I can be getting a 2 foot snowfall here, but it is blue skies and sunshine where those apps are forecasting, The NOAA extension forecasts my area, but the temp does not display in the bar like this one does. Add daily and hourly forecasts (which this one has) and you get a great, helpful extension. Thanks!

I have tried nearly all weather extensions in the Chrome Store, and this is one of the best. Far more available data than most other extensions, and quite configurable.

its ok, but it doesn't update itself on its own in the bar. i know its 90f outside, yet it still had the morning temp. further i want all the info when i click the icon, and not have to click on full report each time. i'd rather have all the data and the next few days on the same screen. further if there is a warning, i'd like to know about it in some way. maybe it doesn't this i haven't see it blink or anything, but since it can't get the temp right i can't imagine that working right either. on the radar i want to choose the colors, i don't like those. and the ability to control the animation via a slider bar. i like being able to rock the animation. even though i have it set to standard measurements, the rain is still in metric. and i'd like better icons showing the conditions or just words - rain, heavy rain, clouds etc, would be better than figuring out what those icons are.

It's working very good, and perfectly.

This is awesome. I've been running dumb apps on the side of my screen that were running up the CPU. This is better in all respects. I love the air quality reading -- having come from a fire prone area where that was a constant worry. And the UV index info feels like it's literally a complete package and yet unobtrusively located in my browser. I was psyched enough to immediate flip them some coin.

I was amazed at how accurate this uvweather app is. My wife and I live in an out-of-the-way, sort of remote, bush area in New Zealand. This is a great weather app... about 100% accurate I reckon.
