my school had this downloaded on my computer and I cannot uninstall and here is the best part I have to buy it to use it so there is no reason this is here. this sucks

I had to go to Youtube to figure out how it works. Ohh my word, the voice is one that takes me back to my student year at the begging of 2000. It is not very intuitive in its use. some of the application voices are much better such as on Bing, MS Word, etc and these are free. Not impressed and will be removed.

I loved this extension for the first 20 minutes, but after that it stopped working. It'll read about 1/4 of the way into highlighted text, and then just give up mid-sentence. Does the same with with the screenshot feature. I was really excited to use it, but unfortunately it was too good to be true.
Can't even see what it's about before it wants me to 'create an account'.
Snap and Read is a good tool, worked for about two weeks. However, it stop working for me 3 days ago. I received an air message that asked it I wanted to reload. I clicked the reload button a few times nothing happen. I tried to reopen it, same results. I rebooted my computer, same results. At this point I thought about re installing it.. Do anyone have any suggestions?
The reading was okay, but when I selected it it said something or anything like under scroll comma question mark comma h f j. Sometimes it would even spell out words even if it was a real word. Also, I cannot read other languages like Korean and sometimes it skipped words. For example, it was supposed to say The quick brown fox but it said The brown fox. Sometimes it replaced words, for example it was supposed to say The quick brown a fox but is said The slow brown o fox. It is very annoying! DO NOT USE!!
our school forces us to download it and it's physically not possible to uninstall. does nothing it says it does either :/

Not that good of an application. It's so annoying because it doesn't consistently work, I have to turn it on and off again a few times before it works.
Unable to open the site even after downloading the chrome extension.
This takes so much space on my chromebook and my school asigned this to my computer and I cant remove it. This is by far the worst extension and I cannot disable it or remove it. Do not install, you will regret it.
We use this extension with students that need reading and writing support in our school. It has made a huge difference for our them! Favorite features are the ability to change the speed, the OCR tool and the outlining tool. Teachers report that they like the text leveling as well. As with any new tool, students do need to learn the tool and spend time utilizing it to become proficient. I liked it so much I got it for myself.

So frustrating and difficult to figure out how it works. The worst!!! You will waste hours and get nowhere. Don't waist your time and.......money
i have to write an essay for my school and when i add this extension to my personal computer it does not work for some reason but it works on my school chromebook. now i have to go on my school chromebook just to cite a website. please fix this issue.
CHARGED ME TWICE THEN ASKED ME PAY AGAIN. I HAVE PROOF. IT MISPRONOUNCES WORDS .
Unable to login from Chrome extension. Went to the website and also unable to login. It does not allow me to enter my username or password and just states "whoops! Something went wrong. Try again later" or something similar. Please fix asap! Thank you :)

It reads everything that I cant highlight and I love it!
Our school made us download this and sometimes it can't pronounce normal words. Even google translate speaker feature is better. Plus this costs money and is annoying to use. Plus it has to load and login all the time.
I thought it would read kindle reader, but apparently it does not.
Misleading presentation... It is not instantly obvious that this is a subscription service that requires you to create an account and provide payment information even for just the 7 day free trial. I need a free, easy to use screen reader for reading my digital textbooks to me while I write notes...

This program is now hijacking PDF files regardless of what Chrome's default viewer or your machine's default viewer are set to.
This is a great tool for our students to use. Snap & Read provides a way for our students to read more independently. You can adjust the speed of the text reader and utilize a translator if needed. The text complexity tool gives more support for our students to better understand the material.
Snap and Read has been a great support for our students. Snap and Read allows our struggling readers to have access to grade level or higher content and is building self-confidence in our students.

LIKE IT A LOT BUT AM HAVING TROUBLE ADDING A STUDENT
I wish it would delete information because sometimes it adds more then I wanted then I can't delete it. Another thing is when sourcing should have appropriate fields and should be able to transfer info. to word or where ever

It's too bad the developer was such a complete jerk to people who did not understand this extension was education-only at the time. Now they are trying to sell it to non-education and making nice-nice in the comments. They were so rude to some of the commenters in here it was unbelievable. Good luck overcoming the terrible impression you made before.
Among the Easiest to learn and use. the conversion process takes to Long and Why i did not give it the 5 stars. ocr extensions and a simple copy command sends it the clipboard where my cip boarder is already set to read anything i store there. That is Speakonia By CFS Technologies maybe if you concentrated on the OCR just and a separate clip board reader for faster Results
