This extension seems very buggy. It sometimes works, but mostly seems not to, meaning that there is no sound at all. I use it for YouTube videos and when it does start working it will work right to the end of the video. I like the settings widget it adds to the YouTube videos, but I've had to disable it as it has annoyed me for the last time.

Thanks man, this is perfect for the pixel buds pro - the only earbuds that have such a giant delay on windows 10!

Doesn't work on chromium 108

Work... when it feels like it... The start of the video is always choppy as it seems to have to calibrate itself. If the sound comes up, then it will work for the entire video, but sometimes, it just stay silent. So.. not sure what is happening.. Because its function is so random, I disabled it. Hopefully an update will make it work flawlessly.

Works very nicely with the delay calibrator! I hope this keeps being updated in the future cause it's really useful for me.

Works well... when it works. The VAST majority of the time, audio doesn't play at all. When it does, it either just cuts in and out, or it plays audio from the ad during the video, and then never switches to the video audio. I suggest testing your software more extensively before claiming "the bug was fixed in v0.3.6"

I gave microphone permission but it complains "Permission denied. You need to allow access to microphone in order to access the audio output device." I really want this feature because my bluetooth earbuds have delay but my speakers don't, so switching between the two would be nice.

For me, Bluetooth delay is 170ms. I have synced my main speaker with a Bluetooth speaker with Voice Meter. Now, just like in VLC you can reverse the delay in Youtube with this. The source code is based. Great! I'm sad Manifest V3 is forced in chrome in a few months, killing this extension.

Tried it but it just mutes the sound when enabled. Using Bluetooth headphones that are about 40 ms delayed

I don't usually review a chrome extension, but boy is this such a lifesaver!

I think it has some issues with SponsorBlock autoskipping segments. Half the time the video just ends up muted

This extension does not work for my YouTube videos played in my chrome. I'm using Macbook. The change of "Audio Delay" does not have any effect.

It works - sorta... When I turn on the Auto Toggle with my LG TFP-8 bluetooth on, it simply mutes everything. But it works without the Auto Toggle function, so it's a win I guess...?

This extension simply does not work, I have made sure I have the latest version of it as well as an updated version of Chrome but it still just mutes the video entirely and doesn't have any function as an extension. I keep seeing comments by the developer saying 'the bug was fixed' alas no such bug was fixed. Disappointed! Seems like an easy fix

Unfortunately this doesn't work. I need a negative delay and when selected the video justs plays for a split second before going entirely silent. Perhaps it will update but need to uninstall now to regain the ability to hear sound on youtube.

It works for half a second then the audio gets silent, tried it for several days and nothing made it work

This extension works like a charm on my Macbook Pro. However on my Windows 10 machine, there's no effect at all even after I restarted the browser. Is there something wrong with my computer?

Really needed a utility like this but it simply does not work, Every time it's enabled, it completely kills the audio. Toggle off, audio returns. I tried uninstalling/re-installing but it did not help.

It only worked one time and upon exiting and reopening Edge the whole extension now breaks the site. - It either plays only the audio and the site it stuck with infinite loop. - Video plays but the audio is crackling. - Video DOESN'T play past a certain point. - Reloading the whole site is basically the final nail in the coffin (the whole site just crashes). The only fix would be removing the extension altogether. Trying to reinstall it will cause all the issues to resurface so there's really no point.

Doesn't work for me. I hear first second of video and then cuts off sound completely. Have windows 11.

Love this extension but a week or two ago it seems to have stopped working. Audio cuts in and out in the first few seconds like it usually did, but then stops playing completely.

Some lyrics videos are need to shift lyrics show first not after voice. And this extension can handle it! Great work, you guys. Thanks!

Love using this as my wireless earphones have quite a bit of delay on them. A few issues i've encountered is that sometimes audio from the last video plays over the current video and media keys don't seem to work at all or just pause and play the audio and not the video itself. Overall this extension is great

Was a decent extension but annoying because you had to turn it on/off when you changed from bluetooth to hard wire speakers that didn't have a delay. But now it has a feature to recognize the audio device and auto turn on, and it's perfect now.!

Great extension. Works as expected to fix out of sync video/audio. Perfect for streaming system audio with TuneBlade to Sonos speakers. Should be built in to Chrome!

ok so this is perfect for me because i have earphones that are when from what it says from here 0.19 seconds out of sync would've been better if you added an thing where there would be like an button where it would play an click and you would have too click it each time the click comes on so it can see how delayed it is and fix it it self other then spending 5 minutes trying out each milisecond until it is perfect

Very nice! Fixes the audio delay between my Pixelbook and stereo paired HK Citation One MKII. Unfortunately only on YouTube but that's enough for me.

Very very useful app but I'm experiencing something like memory leak. I tried running running only Chrome and playing 2k video and my browser became very laggy and I noticed that Chrome is using around 90% of 16GB of my RAM.

Works as advertised, was able to sync my youtube videos very easily. Love it when these things just work and don't require much fiddling.

I thought it was working well, but on most videos after a while the audio would become totally corrupted and then silent. I tried disabling other extensions to see if they were at fault but as soon as I disabled this one the audio stream started working again. Shame as it had great potential! Will try again in the future

In essence: I love it! I've been wrestling with the audio delay/lag bluetooth headsets introduce. Using this extension I was able to view Youtube videos again as they are intended.

Chrome, Windows 10, kickass PC Hardware all around. Airpods Pro has almost perfect YouTube audio sync. Bose QC buds have about a 300MS delay. This plugin perfectly syncs YouTube audio with the video. With this could do it for the whole system. If this plug ever goes end of life, I'll be forced back to the Airpods. Until then, this plugin lets me use the Bose. Love it.

I've been trying to find a solution to a latency bug for my Galaxy Buds for over a year now - nothing has worked yet, until this extension! If anyone else is here because of their Galaxy Buds, +120 ms has it perfectly synced for me.

Why did I wait so long before looking for this? I have two JBL Charge 4 speakers. They have terrible bluetooth lag, but good sound. Thank you so much for offering this solution. Yay, no more out of sync YouTube! Now to find a solution for Netflix and Prime movies...

Not sure if a recent update broke it, but adjusting the slider has no effect on the audio delay, and there are no controls in the youtube player even after restarting Chrome.

Finally I can have synced audio when playing youtube on my bluetooth headphones!

Works great, integrates really well with the video viewer as well. Would be the final touch if you could persist sync changes made on the viewer for the rest of that browser session.

This extension works incredibly well! It's simple to use and makes my Bluetooth earbuds work as well as if they were hardwired.

Works just as intended. For the first time I can watch vids on my Bose 700 headphones with lips matching, added a delay of about 163 ms. Was tricky finding the right delay and sometimes there are small glitches during seeks but it's worth it. Hopefully the next gen of headphones with have aptX Low Latency and make this obsolete.

Great, small extension, does what is needed. Doesn't work for live videos, but still displays the UI, which is a bit annoying. It would be good if it could detect that it couldn't working and be greyed out or something. Other features that would be great: * Remember the delay needed per-video, not globally & allow some way of sharing the information (perhaps paste it in a YouTube comment) * Button to switch the delay off temporarily to check you are actually making an improvement, not making it worse.

Tried other audio sync extensions that were way too heavy and didn't do the job well. This is super simple and works well. Easy 5 stars, thank you for building this!

Wanted to watch a long gameplay video that was 1 second out of sync. Tried a couple different firefox and chrome plugins and all had problems or didn't work at all. This did the trick perfectly and also has a handy UI for adjusting the audio in both directions. Only wrinkle I did notice was that I needed to restart Chrome entirely before it worked. Might be good to mention that.
