Quite a simple and effective extension for renaming emails in Gmail, and it would be even more helpful if it could allow users to rename multiple emails at once, rather than one by one. But overall I recommend this extension.

This extension is good but am not so expert in the field of renaming my email subject and it would be better if there's a tutorial for that?

Very much a kludge workaround for something that should be native to Gmail. It works, but it's awkward. Also it hasn't been updated in a long time, and the recent change to Gmail breaks the "flyover action" in that if you have flyover actions turned OFF, this flyover remains anyway, and VERY close to the star icon, making it easy to click the wrong icon (which is why I hate flyover actions in the first place!)

It asked for way much permission (like everything). But it only functionality it provides is change the subject line. I have checked your privacy policy (https://www.cloudHQ.net/privacy) and no where I could find specifically mentioned that you will not access or retain my email in Gmail. it just a generalized privacy policy. you need a specific privacy policy for this extension. Not going to use this extension, though I would love to change the rubbish subject lines (or no subject) people send in email.

Bug report: The ony reason to rename a message is if you plan to keep it, and want to make it easier to find. The tool will make it harder. Problem: If you use this tool to rename a incoming message in Gmail, the message will seem to disappear. Explanation: In Gmail the Inbox is a label applied to the message. This tool removes that label. Without a label the only way to find a message is to search all messages by a known field. Workaround: Assign a label to a Gmail message before changing its subject.

I have my emails in my inbox separated by read and unread with another extension. It takes my emails out of the inbox and defeats my whole purpose, which was to be able to quickly identify emails in the inbox, by the subject line, but it is essentially moving them to my archived email and I was trying to track by title for the purpose of moving to archive when done with them.

I have installed the extension, and now on every refresh of Gmail (e.g. when I open another message), the bright popup reminds me how to rename the subject, no matter how many times I click on "Got It!"

Just wow. I get so sick of people's inability to make a clear subject line to reference later...this eradicates this completely. Love it

Flight intineraries are always jumbled in my inbox. Renaming the email subject for those makes them much more searcable, and so easy to find for me so I LOVE this

Sometimes you remember things in weird ways and they just stick better that way. Changing up my emails' subject lets me remember all my emails with that quirky thing that stuck in my head & makes my inbox way more navigable.

I've used this to break up email threads. Finding one email by itself is better than searching through a thread. This is greatly helpful to me.

Helps me organize! The many no subject emails I get now are fixed.

I don't see the rename icon up in the bar. I've tried signing in and out, reloading, removing then adding again. But the rename sign is just not there. Can you help me to enable it?

I am thankful to have a way to rename emails and create a new thread based on a conversation with multiple subjects, HOWEVER, having this app/extension run in the background? I don't understand or like that at all!

This makes it so easy to keep emails organized, too often I have clients with bad subject lines. This is an EXCELLENT chrome extension.

I do not understand, why is to need to open a "cloudHQ®"account, for using this extension on Chrome!? Another Chrome extensions does not need another accounts!

Rename email works perfectly and is a long overdue correction to a missing feature in Gmail. One of my most common uses is applying meaningful names to emails of scans from my scanner. Also, applying a name to an email with (no subject), which is the way my Gmail labels texts from cellphones.

The oauth asks for WAY too many permissions. This extension only does one thing--why does it need all those other permissions? Uninstalled

This chrome extension does what it claims to do and without the fuss! This is the best extension for Gmail that I have used so far.
