For quite some time it doesn't scrobble Youtube Music on Chrome browser. Is it a known issue, reported in Github as requested but no fix for almost a year. Sadly, will have to put low rating and find another app.
Works most of the time but just skips maybe 30 to 40% of the songs I listen to. It's playing the whole song and shows as scrobbling now but they don't stay in the list once it's finished.
Hey, it works 96% of the time... but sometimes cuts off the first track of an album I play?? Anyone else got this issue?
Works... The Absolute best for updating my LastFM with YouTube Music. Thank you so much for this plugin! Used it for many many years and there are always updates.
Doesn't work anymore with Youtube music
Great extension, feeling lost without it on YouTube Music. Do you have any plans to update it to support YouTube Music?
This app was great until a few weeks ago when it decided to pick and choose what it scrobbles. Fix it PLEASE
Still the best scrobble option out there. Keyboard shortcuts are also perfect. Thank you for keeping this going!
Works fine so far. Media key support also works well on Mac!
Only halfway working. Doesn't scrobble some of the songs at all, also scrobbles some of them twice etc.
doesn't scrobble
I just discovered that this extension was freezing my whole Chrome.
So far, it works wonderfully. I've tried so many of them that I'd almost given up. Many thanks for being the only one that works properly for me. I'm forever grateful. :) UPDATE: Unfortunately, it no longer scrobbles anything for me. It's only been like this for the last two weeks but since it's the only reason I used the extension, until there's a fix I don't really have any reason to. Sorry.
Doesn't scrobble well and misses songs frequently.
It barely scrobbles anything. It has to be on the same page as the music playing atm. Terrible. Also, doesn't memorize on cache the songs you just listened.
Effing-a.
Works great!
I'm scrobbling from Google Play Music and I think I've figured out that whenever I pause a song, unpausing it gives me an extra scrobble. So when I have to pause a song e.g. 3 times, I get 4 scrobbles. This is annoying. Otherwise thumbs up (y)
Doesn't scrobble the same song multiple times if song on repeat. Other than that, seems to work fine.
Does the job
Didn't work
there's actually a better more generic extension out there already (last.fm scrobbler). why even make this?
Works as intended
it does what i've asked it to but for some reason it also has access to my browser history. removed.
It simply works. It's practically invisible. That's all it needs to do. It's perfect.
This extension seems to send "now playing" requests every second. (I checked with tcpdump). This really is overkill. The scrobbling api specifies you only need to send it when you start the track. If you just send the track duration, you'll ensure it stays active accurately. Sending it multiple times just resets it to the default (which I think is five minutes). And every second, just seems spammy.
This extension is pretty reliable but if, for some reason, it gets disconnected from last.fm, you'll never know until you notice the tracks aren't scrobbling. Also, a hotkey to love a track would be nice.
Stopped working.
On OSX it makes my keyboard pause/play buttons control Google Music instead of launching iTunes. 10 stars.
No longer seems to be working.
This scrobbler has never missed a track for me. It is quick, responsive, and most importantly, reliable.
Works as expected, and fairly well, but there is no indication in the icon or anywhere else when it's not connected. Would be really nice to know when I'm not connected to Last.fm. Also, I'd like to see it keep a buffer when it looses connection to Last.fm, and upload that buffer once I fix the connection issue.
Despite the description saying I just had to refresh the page, I had to restart the browser for it to start working, a little annoying the first time, but after that it seems to be working as it should.
It works great but gives no warning when not connected for some reason. Should give a warning when not scrobbling.
Works!
Works great as mentioned. No browser restart needed.
It does what one would want it to do. :)
It sometimes disconnects from Last.fm without any indication... It should really show that on the icon.
Does exactly what it says, and differently from other extensions, doesn't track you on other sites.
Works nicely. No mess, no fuss.
Takes a chrome restart before it works, but once it does, it's great
awesome
Works as described.
Only Chrome extension that actually scrobbles Google Play. Thanks!
It's working.
the only scrobbler that seems to work with google play. thanks!
working again :)
it takes some time to start to scrobbling but after that it work properly. o/
Not Scrobbling Inspect Views Background Page Last.fm track.getInfo error: 6 any idea what this means? According to lastFM Error Codes it means: 6 : Invalid parameters - Your request is missing a required parameter *edit* its now working after doing as Andrew Nguyen suggested!
It just werks
Average performance compared to another scrobbler that supports Google Play Music.
Works great once your turn off your ad-blockers (':
Conflicts with Macbook media keys. Media keys stop working outside of Google Music application if this plugin is enabled.
It is a great extension. It would be even better if it would scrobble the mini player (if open, make it the default source for scrobbling), so I don't have to keep a tab open in my browser.
Sometimes randomly stops working, usually needs a relog after a cache clear for some reason
working with new changes at Google Music
Now it's working, I guess I needed to restart Chrome. Thanks to your plugin I can continue using Last.fm! :D
Now works on now version
Does exactly what it says it does and great support from developer
Very fast change for Google Play's new UI
Quick Fix for new UI!
it's broken
When it works it works really well. For some reason it only seems to scrobble maybe 10% of the music I play.
Very nice.
Media button integration is awesome!
Scrobbles the music I have uploaded to Google Music. Just remember to reload the Google Music page after installing the plugin otherwise your music will not be scrobbled
Отлично работает!! 5+
Doesn't scrobble.
It does everything I want and doesn't cause problems.
This is my one and only. After trying quite a few Last.fm scrobblers over the past few years, this one has been my final choice. Very easy to use, and quickly updated after Google changes things on their end. Great work!
works after refreshing the google play page
Was a dealbreaker for me to switch to Play Music from Spotify.
Essential for Play Music listeners
Love the new shortcuts!
Works... cool!
Doesn't seem to pick up what's playing in Play Music at all...
This extension works like a charm and is delightfully lightweight; it's my preferred Chrome extension for scrobbling Google Play Music.
Works, but often looses its focus on google play and details of what's being played (in the pop-up).
works perfectly, I just wish that the heart would pop up quicker.
Works great! I only Google Play to be scrobbled and this does it.
It scrobbles the first song you play, then it doesn't scrobble the next song, but then it scrobbles the third song. So it always skips a song.
Great extension. It just works.
Has the "feature" that it erroneously scrobbles long tracks multiple times, with no way to turn it off. edit: The developer quickly solved the problem by adding an option to turn it off! (I still think it's a mistake to have the option as it contributes to incorrect scrobble counts on artists with long tracks) I like the ability to quickly 'love' songs, but wish the heart button loaded quicker (it sometimes takes 10 seconds for me) Overall great extension!
Good extension!
Was working great, stopped completely. I've tried reinstalling the extension to no avail.
Just added it - it appears to work well! Thanks for picking this p and maintaining it.
IT WORKS! Since the redesign of Play Music, all the other scrobblers I had been using no longer worked. This is great!
Best Last.fm scrobbler I've found to work with Google Play ... but, I've just noticed some erroneous scrobbles. For example, I've had one artist turn up on a compilation album. I've listened to that album once, so therefore, 1 scrobble, yet according to Last.fm, I've listened to them 80 times. Another artist, who should be around the half a dozen play mark is on 58. As it stands, I rather not scrobble than inaccurately scrobble, so I'm having to remove this extension for the time being, before it fubars my listening history even more.
This seems to be the only one that actually works, and it does excellently
Only just got it but it works despite the other Last.fm Scobbler on the store seeming to be broken since Jul 15! Thanks for the awesome extension. :)
Awesome extension, still works even after the the changes Google made to Google Music a few days ago. The only working Last.FM scrobbler for Google play. Perfect, thanks! :)
Works with Google All Access. I haven't found any others which do!
The only working Scrobbler I was able to find that still works after the changes made to Google Play Music a couple of days ago.
For those wondering, I think Google Play revised something, since both the Gplay-to-Last.FM extension I was using before conked out yesterday, and this one (which seems better to what I was using) didn't work, either. I'm betting it'll be hunky-dory once the extension is tinkered with to reflect that.
It doesn't scrobble anymore
Great stuff. It works and does what it is supposed to.
Thank you so much for fixing the asavartsov scrobbler! Fantastic!
Thanks for the re-up. Glad to not have to do git magic anymore ;)
Excellent, low-impact Gplay to LastFM. Perfect.
Andrew: Thanks! This is just what I need after the recent upgrade of Play Music to "All-Access". Works perfectly!
Excellent extension! Does the job simply, which is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing your fork!
