I typically like the extension but sometimes it constantly refreshes the page when I go to check out making it impossible to checkout on certain websites. Essentially makes it useless.

Extremely Disappointed. TCB use to be one of my starting points to find deals, but am now consistently getting rejections for casback. This is the latest message from them on a claim. "Non-Commissionable". This typically means that either the item(s) purchased are not eligible for cashback, a coupon or promotional code was used, items were returned or exchanged or that TopCashback was not the last referred click. I won't get into the details, but the above either is not the case or was not disclosed at the time of purchase. Again, very disappointed. Don't count on getting anything back. Time to move on.

Noticed that an extensions was making failed requests to https://o1313669.ingest.sentry.io/ which failed with code 429 (Too Many Requests response status code indicates the user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time) No idea why such an extension would collect any telemetry.

Extension consumes too much resources. I have multiple extensions installed but this extension consumes the most memory and has the most CPU time from a cold start. Data collection is turned off. At the same time, it doesn't do that much functionally so this is probably just poorly written code. (Press shift+esc and sort by Memory footprint to confirm for yourself, enable CPU time). It has been a while since I've written this review and nothing has been done to make it better. Pop-ups are too obtrusive. Often they get in the way of the website. It'd be nice to add a configurable-timeout so that they fade away automatically after some amount of time. Or, it'd be nice to opt-in to only receive cashback notifications for certain sites that I'm interested in or need a reminder. Would replace the current opt-out functionally (or can just choose one or the other). Give option to turn off ads in search results. Nice that it reminds when there is a cashback for a site. Also nice that it can confirm whether cashback is activated or not.

It popped up the cash back all over web searches but when you use the box that came up you get no credit for the purchase and does not even show up to dispute no cash back :-( . Annoying and ineffective ... Uninstalled

Not sure why this does not work at ALL! It only popped up the tiny window on the corner to allow me to activate the 6% cash back at Office Depot ONCE. After that, whenever I visit OfficeDepot.com, the tiny popup window NEVER pops, and when I click on the extension, NOTHING happens either!!! FRUSTRATING and TOO BUGGY! Fix it! If I start from TopCashBack.com, to take me to Office Depot, even though it says my visit has been "recorded", at the actual OfficeDepot page there is NOTHING that tell me it's activated - how do I know it's actually active? I have used Rakuten extension for a while, and it's WAAAYYY much better and more reliable!

TopCashBack.com is great (when it accepts the store you are ordering from). . Helpful as you can't use cut out coupons at online stores, but this (whether it is like 0.2 % to 10% cash back feels good). Main downer: AMAZON.com nothing qualifies ever. And I do 90% of my shopping on there. So a let down, but I understand if it is to encourage usage of other stores that need to survive. Tried to encourage family to join, but they've had hesitancy. Hope to convince them soon. You won't get rich, but it is worth the extra clicks and links buy making a few cents at several stores. :)

I enjoy the cashback and the rates are higher than other apps. I do wish it would allow cash back on subscription services such as Hello Fresh, but I understand there have to be limits. Thank You!

I'm really happy with Top Cash Back's service and the amount of cash back I can get after clicking on the Chrome extension. The Cash Back is usually higher than that of competitors. I also appreciate that there is a customer service offering that allows to follow up on Cash Back that goes unclaimed even after clicking on the link. Making sure cash back ends up in the consumers pocket needs to be the focus of the firm firm going forward

3 small purchases tracked, but when i made more than $800 worth of purchases which should have provided >$60 in cashback, topcashback didn't track it even though i followed the steps carefully going through the topcashportal. Other cashback portals have worked fine. Bunch of crooks.

If you browse and shop a lot, don't forget to use TopCashback to cash back in savings!

I don't think this extension work properly. It’s really frustrating that most of my purchases were not tracked especially some of big purchases, even though I have made sure the extension is activated every time before checking out. I have to claim each of them through customer services, however, after waiting for a few weeks, most of my claims have returned declined because they said I probably check out through another marketing channel??? I find it very confusing since small cashback can be tracked normally. I didn't do anything particular.

This site is great for Cash back! I've saved more from this site than the other sites that offer cashback. I have always received what I earned. Thank you CASHBACK

TopCashback is by far my favorite cashback site. When I compare the percentage, TopCashback is nearly always the best. It's very easy to use, and the games are fun!

One of my favorite CASHBACK apps and extension on chrome. I only wish the turn-around was quicker. It makes it difficult to track when you have to wait sometimes 2-3 months.

Most of the time TopCashback does in fact provide the best cashback offers available. Unfortunately, at times it has problems staying logged in - and not flagging available cashback offers.

Very easy to use, top dollar cash back, and excellent customer service

Early on, I was about to give up on it. But they seem to have worked out the bugs and I'm pretty happy with it now. Just make sure you lower your ab-blocking shields on the site you're tracking for purchase to clear up and potential problems with your purchase tracking.

I like the browser extension better then the app. I use a couple of these programs and used to have to check both apps to see which had the best savings. Now it's easier cause I can see them both while I'm on the website. I'm trying to focus on shopping from my laptop and getting rid of some of the numerous shopping apps on my phone.

The TopCashBack Extension works great, accurately tracks purchases and it's not intrusive. Other cashback and coupon extension pop up windows on the vendor's page which is totally annoying. I highly recommend TopCashBack and its extension as it's a great service and generally pays the highest cashback compared to their competitors.

I'm disappointed overall. I have had some stores that this has worked with, but I recently purchased from Sephora and used topcashback, but it didn't register. I have contacted c/s about the error and still have not heard back several weeks later. I do not support companies that don't stand behind their service/product. I also use another company that offers a similar service; there have been errors there also but when I point it out it is remedied right away. Due to the missing money back with Topcash I don't trust their service, so I may only use it TC the other company I use doesn't offer cash back at a store.

This extension works well. Be sure to login to the topcashback site while using it. The visual indicator makes me feel better that the cashback is being tracked properly vs just clicking through the website.

Great cashback app, but takes a long time to received cashback, if you ever receive it. Some of my cashback offers take months to receive credit for approved cashback. Sometimes I don't receive cashback at all. Also wish they worked with more stores. Aside from these, the app is great and very useful.

A lot of purchases do now show on the DASHBOARD. It takes a long time for cash to become payable.

TopCashBack's site is great. The extension is not consistent. There have always had issues with its interface and tracking, but it was solved by reclicking or reopening my browser. Justjust found a huge recent bug, though: Usually when you click the TCB (TopCashBack) extension, it will show you that X% cash back has been activated and you can also click for Best Deals and Recently Visited. However, lately all I see is "Join Now". This is because the browser extension is logging out of my account every time I close and reopen my browser. Note, it is only the browser extension because if I go to the actual site, I am still logged in. So, I still see pop ups for X% cash back available, but if I click it, a) I don't see on the browser extension that states my cash back is activated b) my purchase does not track. The temporary fix is to log out of TopCashBack's main site and log back in EVERY TIME I reopen my browser. Do not trust that your purchases are tracking via the extension. Just recently made a large purchase and I clicked through TopCashBack's portal AND the extension, but because the extension logged me out of my account (just the extension, not the main site), my purchase did not track and TopCashBack is refusing my cashback. Other cash back portals offer less %, but at least they are consistent and reliable, and have great customer service to correct their mistakes. Hoping TCB fixes this bug and reconciles my situation.

TopCashback usually has the best cash back offers. However, I don't think all my cash back offers are tracking, so I'm going to start recording them on a separate spreadsheet to see if I do get all cash back due.

TopCashBack is the best cash back site in my opinion. The extension seems top work well. Not very intrusive, and recognizes retailer sites appropriately and accurately for activating cash back.

Makes it easier to apply the cashback rather than going manually. Its very easy to access.

I use TopCashBack for almost every online purchase I make. I've had occasional issues where a purchase hasn't shown up, but the customer service team always does their best to resolve this. It's by far my favorite cashback app.

It will always pop up to tell you to save money. Great! However, don't plan on getting paid for most of them. I have 14 'savings' before June 1st. Only 7 are past the pending stage with one still pending from March 25th, and many 'confirmed' but not 'claimed'. June has 6 'savings' with all of them still 'pending'. Not good if I'm not getting my cash back.

Only a fraction of "Clicks to Merchants" register, and an even fewer track any earnings. Even then you're looking at 8-15 WEEKS before the amount is payable. More often than not you have to submit a claim, which takes MONTHS "to investigate", and doesn't mean you will actually receive those earnings. More than likely, as others have mentioned, you will get the whole, "this has been declined by the retailer's network agency as they have been unable to identify that TopCashback were the last referral to this sale.". Overall, this is nothing more than a way for merchants to drive traffic to their websites, and majority have no intentions of paying. Stick with Rakuten, who actually does payout and doesn't make you jump through hoops for weeks or months on end!

I like this app and the savings it provides. Just make sure it is active and you are logged into your account before shopping or purchasing anything. I was not logged in once, even though I thought I was and didn't get credit for purchase of Express VPN service. After several back and forth emails between TopCashBack and Express VPN I was able to resolve the problem. Took 2 to 3 months to do so, ugh.

I have received some cash back, but it takes a long time to get it. Also, there have been sites that I linked to for a cash back which never materialized. Most annoying. And, most annoying of all is if you do not ask for the cash back directly into your bank account (which I would rather not do), you only get a portion of the amount promised. The penalize you for converting to gift cards or even having the money deposited into your PayPal account. Would I recommend it to a friend? Not likely.

I really like topcashback because they give you free money that you won't get anywhere! I love saving when I purchase something big and topcashback definitely saves you some money that you can't get easily. I also like how they update their cashback in a few days so that I know how much I am getting.

It is kind of hit or miss if it records your purchase. I make sure it's activated and that I don't add anything to my cart until it is but have still had to file several missing credit forms. Those take months (think 6-12 or more) to resolve...if ever. Just not worth the hassle. I will usually default to Rakutan now if it is an option. I've had much better luck with them.

When ever i purchase on line thinking i'm going through top cashback i all got was 4.90 had to get help on getting that and now i still don't any cashback i maybe doing something wrong here but what ever the case this maybe i gave up frustrated i'm uninstalling the browser extension

TopCashback has been my go-to shopping rebate app for quite awhile now.They have the most stores to choose from and the highest pay-outs. One thing that drives me crazy though is when my PC loses the app's connection as I navigate around certain shopping sites. eBay is the biggest culprit and I do a ton of shopping there. I end up putting all my items on my Watchlist and then going in for the checkout through TCB. I have lost transactions completely if I don't do it this way. Otherwise, I'm still a die-hard fan!

I have only had good things happen from TopCashback. I pretty much use them for almost everything when I make purchases. I've found that they have been highest cash backs then most.

I absolutely love this extension. I have several money saving extensions but TopCashback usually offers the most cashback and the one I use almost always. I love saving money on things I would have bought anyway.

This cashback site used to be great but as of recently they have had more and more issues with tracking cashback and paying out. The excuse that is given once you've spent the time sending the required information is "cashback is not guaranteed" but on the website it states "highest cashback guaranteed" very contradictory considering $0 cashback is definitely not the highest cashback I can get. Still waiting for transactions from december to payout! Very upsetting and disappointing, thinking about taking legal action due to them not paying out what was earned.

If you are shopping online you should use this extension. I have gotten a lot of money back from purchases with ease. It works and if you are just looking to build up some extra cash and want to cash out every 3-4 months, this works.

I joined when they offered "$10 cash back at Walmart. Purchase anything for $10 or more from Walmart, and get $10 cash back." I made a purchase of $43.79 on November 11, 2020 and after 4 months of waiting they finally denied my rebate on March 2, 2021. A staff member stated that "due to the network agency not identifying TopCashback as the last referrer for your transaction... we deem this a solid declined reason". I know I clicked through their referral link via the email promotion they sent me and their own system captured it under "Clicks to Merchants" dated on the same day as the purchase date. I plan on cashing out what I currently have and uninstalling, total waste of time. I would suggest anyone else using these browser extensions to use competitors like SlickDeals, Rakuten, Befrugal as they are definitely more consistent, user friendly and will resolve issues without waiting FOUR months. Speaking of consistency, as others have stated, it's a hit or miss. I've given up on the offers that never registered or got paid out.

Extension isn't bad. Most of the time it will activate when it should. Many times I have used it and it says it was active, then there was never a payout.

I have used topcash back for years now and never had issues with activity not tracking but since starting to use this browser extension last year I have experienced two purchases that failed to track, even though I made sure the add-on reflected they should have been active. The first is from November 2020 THAT IS STILL NOT RESOLVED, and just recently another from March 21. For the latter, click activity did reflect the purchase on March 22, but now it's no longer showing up?! I think I will just go back to the old way of browsing to the topcashback website first and remove this browser extension, there doesn't seem to be an effective way to get issues addressed once something goes wrong.

This is a great feature to make sure we don't miss out on the cashback. Only issue is that it is continuously trying to connect on certain sites and because of the constant refresh, the sites then think we are a robot and tries to kick us out.

I love that it reminds me of savings and sometime coupons I can use to save even more. All this, and I am earning cash back. This is a win-win for me.

Many times too difficult and too late. Too many hurdles. My wife stopped using and I am disappointed - several good purchases were not rewarded. I like Rakuten better. They pay less but award more without follow up.

I love this app. However, it's a little confusing in that half the time it says login & other times it doesn't. So, I'm not getting the full benefit/concept of TotalCash app yet. I'm still not sure if I'm receiving my cashback benefits when I shop.

Poor customer service

I do not use this one very often. Yes it offers more than most others cashback sites however, the other cash backs sites I have been a part of since they began. Other sites are almost instant with the cash back. This one not so much. I have been a part of this one for over 5 years now and I am not really sure how I feel about it.

It pops up all the time. It is very annoying. Why can't I just click on it when I'm going to purchase something? It's right there on the browser. Or, why can't a person decide if they want it popping up all the time or select an option that I will click on it if I am going to purchase. I just got on Dell's site to do a driver scan and I have no intention of buying anything. This happens all the time and is driving me crazy. If it isn't addressed soon I will just uninstall it. Don't be so freaking greedy or in the end you lose!

Easy to use extensoin to earn cash back on the stuff that you are already going to buy. Also they have highest cashback on most of the stores compare to other similar extensions.

Any time you can get cash back and it costs nothing is fantastic. It has been great to find places that I shop participate in this program.

I've received nearly $300 cash back in four years which is great the amount of effort required. You can direct payout via PayPal - so that's easy too. The extension makes it easier to make sure you're activated. You do have to chase down a some unrecorded purchases on occasion but it mostly works as advertised. You're already shopping online, once you're signed up, it doesn't take much to press a button and earn a little extra money. Give it a try!

Extension is convenient but it is definitely a Hit or a Miss. Though TopCashBack is very competitive and runs some pretty good offers and cashback, the accuracy of tracking seems to be a hit or a miss. In my experience thus far, the hit rate is 50% and the miss rate also has been 50% and for the transactions missed, its a painful long wait after submitting the claim to Customer service to get a response and get the cashback awarded. Adding to the pain is another long wait after the cashback is awarded for it to become payable. I just hope they get the accuracy to be closer to 100% and then they can dominate the cashback sites. I plan to give it few more shots and if the experience continues to not improve, I'll have to look elsewhere as getting a lower cashback but consistently is better than always having the doubt whether the cashback was tracked and if not, going through the long process of customer service.

Easiest way to save money!! I have more then one cashback extension on my computer and I have found that TopCashback offers some of the best, many times the best, cashback amounts of any of the cashback extensions. Once installed it automatically lets you know how much cash back you can earn at the site you are on. Once you activate the cashback you shop as usual and get money back. Sooooo simple. I love TopCashback!!

works good for savings reminders. What I do not like is that it keeps popping up (and blocking clickable items on screen) on sites where I have no plans to buy anything. For instance, the cable company where I get email. I get tired of having to close it's pop-up. Also the little 'x' to close is a bit too small. Would be nice if I could disable it for certain sites, or at least disable it on that site for a period of time.

Frequently has the highest cash back than any other cash back site.

The topcash back extension is very helpful. It automatically shows how much cashback a store is giving when you go to their website. I don't have to go to TopCashBack first and see if the store is offering cashback.

I do like that the extension is there to remind me to use it, unless a hummingbird event is happening, then I assume I must go to the site to find one in order to have a small chance of winning. It doesn't help "save" money, but it does help to "spend less" on items when cash back is offered. So I can say that I've spent around $900 less, since 2014, than I would have without it, so thanks!

So easy to use -- especially since I sometimes forget to go to TopCashBack's website first. The pop-ups are largely unobtrusive. The rewards are generous and very easy to redeem. Highly recommend!

Ive been using topcashback for over 3 years. In the past I had to get into the habit of typing it in and then going to the website. Its convenient because it does take you right to your cart. This year however the site prompts me which is so much faster and easier. I receive about $300 a year usually at christmas time back from my purchases. The % off is often half the tax or maybe covers shipping.

LOVE it! So easy to use which means so easy to save money. I added the browser extension and it reminds me to save money and there is now no way for me to forget my "coupon"! There are way many more stores available than I would have thought. The cash back is generous and is probably the best out there among the different cash back sites.

What's not to love?! It saves you money by looking up coupon codes for you and you get a cash back percentage for the items you buy. It great. The extension reminds me to use it for every website I shop at and I have saved hundreds of dollars and received hundreds more in cash back. Thank you TopCashBack!

Great way to save while shopping. Most times it is the best offer on the web.

It's helped me save money. Sometimes I get in a hurry and forget to go to the TopCashBack website first; the extension automatically reminds me and a simple click gets me back on track getting some money back. Easy to download and easy to use. I've recommended it over and over to family and friends.

For the extension of TopCashBack, I am very, very pleased to have it. I used to get upset about making a great purchase and then realizing I forgot to go to the website first to save money. Now comes the but... sometimes I have not received cash back and this is after checking all the fine print, which then did not let me receive the extra bonus cash back from TopCashBack. I have had that happen twice in the past couple years. Other times, absolutely no problems. Customer service has been great with responding though, even though it did not change the end result. For some reason, I have not received cash back from Home Depot for several purchases so I think I will try something different next time (an app purchase elsewhere) and see what happens. It may not be TCB at all, just HD. Sometimes I spend a lot and sometimes I do not, yet it is always nice to earn some extra cash back. Plus, I have found some companies I would have not shopped at if it were not for TCB! So back to the extension- YAY! Plus, I like how it pops up with 'coupons found' on the extension! An extra nice thing to have on there!
