From December 29th, 2018 to February 6th, 2023, 38% user give 5-star rating, 7% user give 4-star rating, 6% user give 3-star rating, 8% user give 2-star rating, 40% user give 1-star rating. for Allow CORS: Access-Control-Allow-Origin chrome extension.
This works, but make sure to watch the associated video (the key thing is to press the C button in the extension so that it changes from grey to color)
Breaks most of the internet when it's on. The whitelist should allow you to ONLY enable on specific lists, not disable every domain you don't want to have it on. The way it works, I have to add hundreds of domains if I am using this extension. If it were reversed, I would only have to add localhost. Also, PATCH fix doesn't work, it's still broken
Worked like a charm on Chrome on Version 108.0.5359.124 (Official Build) (arm64) OS Macbook Air M2
Works, but it took me 10 minutes to realize you need to enable it by clicking on the extension's icon and on the big C on the left.
It didn't work for me on Mac.
Not working, tested on linux (Manjaro, ubuntu, kubuntu)
great tool .. thank you
Breaks Youtube, Twilio website, and AWS console for me when enabled.
This extension mostly works - however, if you have a Content-Type header in a POST request, it won't allow it through whereas the Moesif CORS extension will. Also, the UI isn't great and it's difficult to tell at first whether the extension is on or off
It does not work on the mac, but on windows
Worked for me and saved me lots of time
Best extension for cors. Saved a lot of hours
Does not work at all.
working ...
does not work
WHEN enabled, Youtube Video Player was not working. Not sure if the issue was in the extension or the youtube player.
Works great! However it took me a while to figure out I had to click the letter C in the dropdown to turn it on. Judging from the comments, others probably had the same issue. I would recommended making that easier to understand. But thank you!
Whitelist dont even kinda work
doesn't work, even when turned ON. The Test CORS page used to test - CORS is blocked for any combination
not work
Good BUT need to add PATCH method
Extremely helpful for debugging. Thanks!!!
It didnt work
Not working, despite activating it as documentation suggests.
Worked perfectly, single click to enable. Exactly what I was looking for.
NOT WORKING AT ALL !
Doesn't work even after following the instruction video, and of course activating it
doesn't work
doesn't work. https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5629709824032768 https://anforowicz.github.io/xsdb-demo/index.html
Not working after chrome update. any suggestion
Yes this actually works fine (unlike some CORS extensions), however... IF YOU ARE THE DEVELOPER, DON'T YOU READ YOUR REVIEWS? Users are not realising they need to switch on the extension by clicking on the "C" logo. Therefore many think your product is broken, which is the reason for most of your 1 star reviews. Just add an obvious On/Off switch instead of using the logo.
Has no effect. Just waste of time.
Simply it doesn't work
Awesome!!
thanks man really helpful!
Worked perfectly for my issue
Not working
the idea is good, but the extension itself is not functional.
good
Not works in the following case, header should be origin of request, if exists The value of the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header in the response must not be the wildcard '*' when the request's credentials mode is 'include'. The credentials mode of requests initiated by the XMLHttpRequest is controlled by the withCredentials attribute --- seems dev fixed it. Thanks!
Before is ok, but now do not work
not working
doesn't work at all
Doesn't work, will screw up your browser
It works! This extension is NOT PLUG N PLAY! You need to ENABLE IT MANUALLY. Watch video tutorial before you use this. You can find video tutorial on the 'overview' section on this page
This extension is using around 6 GB OF ram on my macbook pro, the developer must be using some kind of crypto script. If so this is illegal and fraud please take action.
Saved my day. Watch tutorial video before down-vote
So easy to use and very very usefull.
It no longer works for chrome 87+
WORKING LIKE A CHARM, DO NOT LISTEN TO WHO'S SAYING IT'S NOT.............
Didn't work
Not work!
Doesn't seem to work at all.
I love it! It resolveed my bigggest problem when I was learning ajax in Chrome...
Marking this a zero so devs might fix this issue: Patch Requests are broken when this is turned on, this caused a really headache with MS devops! Could someone fix it and let me know.
The video fully explained everything and i was good to go. If you have just installed the addon Make sure watch the video and run the necessary test. I know most of you want to install the plug and play style but the options present are necessary.
Worked great. Install, enable, profit!
Idk why people are down voting this extension. It really saved me from building my app for minute changes. Did a good job!
Loved it!!!
GOOD
Not working while loading CSV file frol local storage for developing an HTML page
I am using it to test an Angular app using Chrome "Sensors" dev tool to simulate that I am somewhere else in the world. When you do it, Chrome adds an header that is not recognized by my CORS policies. With this app, it works flawlessly and I can test without problems.
Really useful and reliable, it works perfectly. I'm a JS developer and I use it for debugging locally but loading resources from the internet. You can activate it when you need it.
Works pretty good, except for PATCH requests. doesn't set it on Access-Control-Allow-Methods header.
clicking on the icon just bring up the context menu. extension does nothing.
Doesn't work with PATCH Rest APIs
Did not work for me.
"not working"
Stupid Extension. Wasted 1 day of me and my colleague!
Doesn't work as of latest version.
solved my problem , thank you !
Must needed one!
Not working for me on Chrome 80.0.3987.122
Usefull and easy to use. Love it
not working chrome version: 80.0.3987.106
It works, but it was not clear how to turn it on. If the C at the top of Chrome is gray, it is not on. You have to click that C and then click the big C in the popup to actually turn it on. The instructions are not very clear.
aint working trash
Works like a charm. Helps me do my day job.
I am React Developer and really need to connect localhost to live backend (Cross domain). And this saved my time alot.
This blocks everything Google console not working Youtube videos not working Video upload not working Worst ever service in fact unable to get why it's happening then I search they are saying check extensions
It worked.
Tested on macOS and Windows. On both systems the plugin has no effect. Chrome Version 71.0.3578.98
This is not a CORS enabler! This is a CORS tester
didn't work for me either chrome 78.0.3904.97
Does not work
doesn't work for me. Chrom Version 77.0.3865.120 (Official Build)
Did not work for me
Doesn't work on Chrome v.77.0.3865.90 for Mac OS
Turn it on and it just works. Finally, a piece of software that just works.
Didn't work
Didn't help, the error message is still there.
Doesn't work for me.
Not working. Still getting errors
Didn't get the job done -- I'm having an issue with the CORS response having the wrong error code, and the extension didn't override that issue or disable the CORS handling. As they say, "You had one job..."
Does the job!
After a day of struggling with my dev code, this extension was the only thing that let the things work on dev box. Thanks
most recent update of chrome broke it (chrome Version 72.0.3626.96 (Official Build) (64-bit))
Really useful and reliable. I'm a React Native developer and I can tell you that it works perfectly for debugging.
Thank you dear for this extension. It works and solved my problems. Thanks. Habib Qurechi.
