too many duplicates and random thumbnails, theres no smart system to filter out duplicates or to exclude smaller sizes, download largest size possible. guess its back to manually downloading for now. there should be an easy way. why cant it just run off of largest size available??!

A simple, but very useful tool, to grab images off of websites, especially where downloading is prevented by scripts in the web page. Sometimes simple is good, and that certainly applies to this addon.

Great extension! The option to download into a particular sub folder doesn't seem to work for me even if I create it myself.

Filter function worked really well. PLEEEEEEASE add a bulk rename function! And it will be nice if you can choose the folder just once and download all the imgs to that folder.

Ok... I am a REAL person and a web developer. I downloaded several other tools like this because the reviews were so bad. I was specifically worried about this tool being able to detect the CSS bg image from a div. It found it, I hit the download button, it brought up a save dialog, boom! done! This tool is EXCELLENT!

This is a great plugin and one i will be using a lot. I love the regex expression filtering which shows respect to us geeks. I'll echo previous posters and say that it would be great if we could have the pictures saved to a new directory titled by the domain name. As if you do this to a few sites in a row you'll have no idea which image went with which site. I would rather the folder name instead of a file suffix as it's easier to track with multiple sites *and* if you are downloading pictures to work on them and then re-upload them to a site you don't have to re-name them all as you would with a file name suffix or prefix. Thanks! Looking forward to the next version!

Amazing app. But, how do I set my default folder?

Simple and easy to use app that saved me time when building emails for advertising.

Loved it...all blocked images that wouldn't be able to download the easy way...this bypasses that impediment.

After a little checking, it is working good... Subfolder option is usefull...nBut, stopped if the app window closed...!!

I don't write reviews often, but I will now, in developer's defense. I never thought I could use this on Instagram, I was using something else before, but this extension is easier to use. I'm a long time user and I appreciate all the features it comes with. Very useful to have for downloading images. Someone was complaining in a recent review that it won't work on Instagram anymore, so that's why the developer changed permissions I guess. This is a great extension any artist should have. Useful, especailly the mass download option.

I work in design and I use this add-on almost everyday and many times a day. One caveat it doesn't always seem to show background images. I usually have to get those manually. This extension works really well kudos ti the developers.

4/2021: No longer able to save to subdirectories under initial subdirectory, eg. temp, temptemp1, temptemp2.nOtherwise I've always liked this extension. Now, after downloading to temp, I have to move files to temptemp1, etc.

Great extension - works very well indeed.

To me this is the best extension for downloading images in one go from any site.

Small bug for me. If you switch tabs during the image downloads they will save some to your default download location then stop the downloads. Wildcard for the download URL is great.

Flawless u0026 Simple. Click button, name folder, and seconds later all of the images in the webpage slideshow are saved to the folder.

Doesn't work on Pixiv and it's agonizingly slow on the website 500px. Also, either I don't see how or there just is no ability to see the image dimensions for each image (to skip to the large form, distinguishing it from e.g. the site's thumbnail) Otherwise it's basically perfect. I can't live without it.

Works okay for what it can do. Lacks many features of similar Firefox extensions but it is what it is.

I originally going to avoid it but it works perfectly, the subfolders work, the image selection and download works, everything is smooth.

Great extension. I just miss it should at least remember the last folder used to save the image

This is a really great extension, I especially love the subfolder option and the fact that it downloads image links as well. However, the major issue with this program is that you need to keep the focus on it at all times. If you go to another tab, it stops working. Overall a great app!

Such an awesome image downloader. I use it for downloading gallery sets of p0rn!!

Worked perfectly for me. Downloaded 81 imaged instantly by sorting them to the url I needed (imgur), thus I didn't download any unnecessary images that were part of the website (like logos and avatars and icons). Downloaded to the folder I told it to, no problems whatsoever.

I love the download all option but please include some way to download to a new folder. Let's say I want to download 100 pictures, it would be better if they were downloaded to a new folder, let's say (Date-Page name. Thanks!

This does just what it says, and it is easy to filter out images by URL. It would be a lot better if you could control where the files are saved and what they are named, rather than dumping to default download folder

Does what it says on the tin, but it would be nice to have a way to quickly eliminate all the irrelevant junk. I wanted to download 10 images embedded by gmail (grrr, I should be able to do that natively). There were 313 other images to sort through, and no simple way to figure out how to limit my search since these images all had complex names. But once I got the 10 images I wanted, it did the job nicely. Just not sure it wouldn't have been easier to right click each one.

SO fast. I figured out I had to scroll all the way to the bottom of my tagged photos so that they were all loaded on the screen then downloaded 1000+ pics in seconds to my download folder. I have been trying to find a way to do this for years. Did exactly what I needed. Thanks

Works as it says it would. Really simple and easy to use. Save to Folder function is a great touch, and so is the Only Linked Images function.

Needs better explanation on how to use this. Albeit with a bit of tweaking around you'd get how to.

I like it because it works! However, the one drawback for me personally is that the only format option is to save the file as an .svg file, with which I was unfamiliar. Since the purpose of the application is to generate useable image files, it would be SO nice if one could select a format; .jpg or .png for example. My image viewing and converting software therefore has to be employed to make that formatting change in order for various other software to recognize it as an image file (.svg is not recognized in programs to which I like to add images, such as pdf or docx.) This doubles the processes to perform, and doubles the amount of saved files on the computer hard drive. Thank you for this program. Chrome seems not to have its own image selection capability, which continually surprises me.

This is a very useful extension -- great work! Recommended.nnMay I suggest a couple things?nn1. Bring back the blue border around the selected images, since when you scroll down you can no longer see the new checkmark that replaced the blue border.nn2. Show a small tally of the number of selected images. (Sometimes I select all, then deselect a few, but end up downloading only the ones I had tried to deselect -- due apparently to an unexpected refresh of the list.)nnThank you!

Finally found one that works and it works great! Just click the extention icon on your browser, a drop down box will apear with all the images in it, then click the down arrow buy the images and presto you have that image! Thank you, you rock! Now I have lots of images to use as inspiration for my next mouse art. u003c3

Works fine. The problems others seem to have with this extension - prompts for each picture, download folder problems, problems downloading only one photo - are all preferences set in Google Chrome, and are not problems with the extension itself.

Really nice. If you're struggling with converting to PNG, please click on the extension to do the downloading of the image to PNG.
