can't even chat?

Thanks a million to your team for taking the time & burning the calories to develop this most useful extension. From time to time I find myself assuming the role of volunteer chat admin for a couple popular YT channels, utilizing this app constantly on my secondary monitor. Don't exactly understand how you aren't in the 100,000's or even millions of extension DLs, yet just give it time. A big thing IMO that may help with #s would be the addition of a chat box field, allowing your users to engage with the room from a Full screen view. As a software developer on the side, I can contemplate some of the hurdles associated with a feature such as this. I am, however, willing to throw in what I have to offer, if it's something you're looking to consider or incorporate in the future. Always open to ideas, comments & criticism, hit me up. It's a great Youtube extension for Chrome browser. Very simple and helpful when I want to watch any live stream in full screen with the live chat in it. The only thing that annoys me is that while watching live stream in full screen, some of the chats are doubled so it looked like a spam message, but when I switch to normal mode, the live chat isn't doubled. Hopefully this can be fixed in the future update.

works great, you can change the size, where it is on the screen, opacity, font size, background color. Works really well.

Excellent extension. I would love if there was a way to put the chat on the right hand side too. Edit, I found it. Just hold onto the hand to move the chat box around the screen. Edit 2, sometimes the chat off the screen and there's no hand icon to drag. I have to uninstall and reinstall the extension. Perhaps an option in the settings to reset the position and size.

Works great. But, I noticed that when i scroll up to read the comments, the button that allows you to go to the latest chat is being blocked by the setting bar. Would be nice if there is an updated button arrangement!

Love it but I wish there was a way to change the size of the chat like making it longer or wider I know you change the opacity and more but not the size of it as far as I have seen. but other than that I loved it.

This extension is great but it clashes with another extension: "enhancer for youtube" idk if you can do anything about that or not but good extension non the less

did not work for me unsure if its a keybind conflict with another extension, is there a way to change keybind?

This is really useful since that I watch most of my videos in fullscreen and a lot of the time, the streamer doesn't display chat onscreen even though I like the interaction between them and the audience. One suggestion though, the verified accounts in yt have thick yellow border around their names when it is small light grey border in the yt chat. It would be nice to make those names not as outstanding since that those accounts that chat those aren't that significant to the streamer as well. Mods, on the other hand, can be more obvious. Otherwise, this is a really good extension! Thanks! 25 Aug Edit: I think yt broke this extension and it doesn't appear now. T_T

Worked great when installed a week ago. Broken now.

Great when it worked but just stopped working for me a few minutes ago. Chat no longer shows up when I go fullscreen.

Edit2: This has stopped working for me... I've reset the overlay and reinstalled the extension. Does not show up anymore... ------- Just downloaded and I already love this. No more wasted space! Edit: Can you add an option to have the username and comment begin on separate lines (like the phone app in full screen mode?) It can be a little hard to distinguish between the 2 sometimes.

I love this feature!, I'm glad someone finally made it because I've been waiting a long time. I love the fact I can watch a stream in full screen mode and see the live chat, but I wish I could type in the chat too. I remember I did once but it stopped working maybe I'm just imagining I could but please update and this feature

Pretty good and amazing extension! It's a bit buggy at times to start the overlay, but overall it works really well. It would be top tier imo if there was a way to make Archived/Saved streams be able to pop the chat out, but other then that really nice.

Really glad this extension exist. Hope it can be further improved in the future by allowing user to directly enter chat messages on the fullscreen instead of needing to go out to write one when it is live

Love it! Finally! Someone implemented this! It's similar to that of iPad's interface for live youtube where it overlays on the video. Thanks for making this, I was *almost* about to create this so that I can watch Hololive in full screen while reading chats.

Loved The Idea Except it Doesnt Work When I Press ctrl + alt + c It Does Nothing The Chat Doesnt Show Up And It Seems Im Not The Only One That Has This Problem Other People Have This Issue So please Fix It

Works but I wish it worked for replays of livestreams. I don't get to watch a lot of events live but would still like to be able to enable the chat on replays of live events. Ctrl+Alt+C works fine if the stream is live, but if it is a replay of a livestream it does not work. Could this be implemented?

This has been very handy and useful. Surprised there is no native browser functionality for this. Bonus points for the extension thumbnails :D

Best one I've used so far. Being able to modify the chat box and the font is really nice. Would be great if it can also do superchats.

Works perfectly...would be even nice if you can also send chat and superchats in the overlay...for now i guess you just need to stop fullscreen for a moment to do that.....also it would be nice if we can change the username colors per filter(like different color for member, different color for guest, etc....).... keep up the good work man....

Amazing extension, does exactly what it promises and I love how everything is customizable and you can drag the overlay wherever you want.

I'm very glad this extension exists, was very useful especially during the past few weeks. I have a few minor nitpicks. I wish mods were highlighted, like how their names are blue and have the wrench icon in the normal chat window. I also wish there's a way to change the background color, so I can make it completely black instead of the current dark grey. Fantastic extension otherwise, very elegant and easy to use!

The extension is great, I just have two questions. Why does the extensions need permissions to browsing history? Also, is it possible to add the ability to chat in full screen as well? Edit: While I would love to check the source code, unfortunately I do not understand JavaScript/TypeScript. I am confused as to why the extension would require access to browsing history. I'm just assuming that it's looking for some sort of event from the video player that says it's going in/out of full screen. Where does the browsing history come into play there? If I'm missing something, I would love for someone to explain it to me.

Shishiro Botan So I just tested this a bit, and there appears to be a tiny bug on my Lenovo C330. When blur is set to 0, the text in the chat overlay has a rendering issue or something. Example here (https://imgur.com/a/dW0UaDR). I would also like to mention that it only happens apparently at a specific x-coordinate because the display is fine in other locations. Thank you very much for this extension of course! Very beautiful design.

Is it possible to add an option to filter out certain comments. Only showing Owner, moderator, and members for an example?

It does what it's suppose to do. simple interface, easy to understand. few suggestions, if it's possible to implement for future updates > A feature that can change font colors. > A way to lower the opacity of super chats. > hide the chat box when I hid the original chat (sometimes Id feel too lazy or I just forgot to hide the chat overlay in the extension, so it would be cool if you guys added the feature to hide the overlay when I hid the original chat box.) (And I see you feel into the vtuber rabbit hole). AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

When watching a replay, it doesn't load at the beginning, then loads once, then twice, then many times (every chat message then gets repeated a few times over).

Finally someone made it!!!!!! Highly recommended! You are able to read the chat in a easier way and the design is quite clean and great. I really like this extension. The designer also keep upgrading it. Looking forward to see his next product! Nice =]

Amazing add-on to watch livestreams with. Has all the basic features you'll need to customize how you want it. One issue is that the auto scroll tends to stop working in fast moving chats. Great job!
