it great true this app the best
Nimbus has developed excellent apps that bring the best of OneNote and Evernote together, and then some. I wish I started using it sooner. The web clipper is outstanding!
Summary: The UI (User Interface) needs improvement...Nimbus Clipper needs that Screenshot feature back, even though it can routed through their other extension, Nimbus Screenshot. Gave both Nimbus & Evernote my "difficult" site challenge.. Cnn covid updates. Nimbus hanged on everything ..changing parser settings didn't solve .. So did Evernote.. but, Evernote Screenshot works quickly. Nimbus Clipper doesn't have Screenshot feature, and the routing with their other extension, Nimbus Screenshot didn't coordinate that well. Neither programs seem to have built-in OCR. Finding the editing function was confusing and it doesn't seem to work on everything. As newbie, I clicked "quick clip" option. Later, I couldn't figure out how to get to my dashboard Quick Clip is a nice option, but there should always be a button to get the the Dashboard ..either in context menu or a button option on Save screen.
Good extension but Is there no export option? cant I export all my clips to a csv or txt
I really like this note saver extension. But could the developer change the automatic time change? Or at least make it an option for user to change? We don't want to change the note time every time I check my notes.
Web clipper does not work properly. The layout and images are not maintained and tend to go out of place and goes beyond the screen estate. Images get distorted as well. On mobile screens, it is un-readable. Have flagged this to Support for months but so far no solutions yet.
Just Awesome. I really love this Extension. It Save my Time.
It's decent, but with the recent update for Nimbus Note Web, it's outdated. When clipping anything like an article, Nimbus Web shows the OLD editor, for that clipped note, not the NEW editor. Something's not right there. Don't get me wrong, it works, but since there's a new editor, it should be updated for the Clipper, too.
Requires an account sign up now and lacks the core features that made nimbus great back in Dec 2019. Bad udpate.
This was the best capture app I've used for years. Now it's as bad as everyone else once they removed image capture. Have no use for this now.
I tried this app because Nimbus capture started to require a screen reload every time I wanted to use it. Clipper requires a reload as well, and I have not been able to find any help for this issue. I am hoping it is just a setting somewhere, but I have no idea where to look. Chromebook.
Garbage after the change. And now they have my email to sell me more garbage and then sell it to more people to sell me more garbage. This is just a dumpster fire! Thanks whoever decided to "take advantage" of the fact that you had a good working original application. Peace out!
Nowhere near as good as evernote's web clipper: - Doesn't automatically detect the main article fragment - Doesn't provide +/- control on each fragment to expand/contract it in the DOM hierarchy - Misses some images/sections completely that evernote web clipper captures properly - Images not scaled/positioned properly. e.g. totally messes up emojis on a facebook page It's certainly better than OneNote and many other web clippers, but unfortunately still well behind evernote.
Nimbus screenshot has worked wonderfully for me whenever I need a quick screenshot that I can easily edit within the app. This is a huge time saver compared to what I've been doing for almost twenty years. It's so easy to use I didn't have to call my kids in to explain it to me. :) The editing tools in this lightweight extension easily compare to those that I use most often in huge and complicated photo editing programs.
Tried to clip receipt from www.edimdoma.ru and no luck. Clipping progress going forever and no content was clipped.
best web clipper and note tool.Beats even evernote, only thing missing is outlook integration to totally beat evernote or onenote app.
Awesome product... really amazed !!!
Amazing, Thank you Developer
I use both Evernote and Nimbus, each for a different purpose. The Nimbus Note software (Windows) and web app are between good enough and good. It's a small company, it seems, and there are some UI things to polish but the product is solid. The Web Clipper however is beyond good. You can pick fragments of the page and clip those together into one note. Whether clipping article or full page, you can edit what is being clipped, allowing you to remove images, annotate, etc. before sending the note over to Nimbus Note. Use both Nimbus Note and its web clipper daily.
Just started to use the program it seems to be pretty good and useful thus far.
Great clipping tool for a great notes app. Definitely recommend!
best ever (i try most of all web clippers, but the only one nimbus good. try this. i recommand it strongly)
Great for captures. Notes follow you around as long as you take the program with you.
does what it says, easily!!!!!
This a good web tool
better than evernote, by far!
Well liked the idea, minus the fact it will not login to the account from the extension at all. Keeps saying it wants me to allow popups etc but all my extensions are white list only dah! so they want to do background task whenever they want! not happening on my computer! PS Goggles Keeper Works better and just the same, if you don't want to use that I recommend using GNOTES search in the play store and chrome store for both app and extension. Justin Cram DyingJedi
Great!
Fantastic extension and Android app. Be sure to get Nimbus Notes too, also very handy/fantastic!
Excellent suite of integrated chrome extensions and local chrome OS apps that auto sync with free everhelper.me account - Perfect research tool for saving material (text snippets, media, articles, webpages, screenshots) sourced across the web.
ok
Just what I was looking for. Can clip an entire page or just a section of the page and can edit it to my liking. What I want now is an android app to view my Nimbus Notes. Pretty please?
Seems to have promise if I could log in, guess it's just another empty shell :-(
It doesn't function very well, but still it gives you an slight hope that one day it will be up and running. anyways, please fix the issues with log in and data loss as it happened to me and I had to uninstall the extension.
