Pocket Tube saves time! NO more "browsing dwell hell" Most Powerful tool is the manage, much like google email manager, select all, keyword search, select, and boom drop in to folder. I have 450 plus subscriptions, most do not upload anymore, but searching there content my category without this app is eye wateringly difficult.

I never imagined that there would be an extension like this, I needed it and I never imagined that there was an extension for it, very good that the developers created this. Another idea would be to create one for Instagram, because I have to use more than 3 accounts to separate the niche I follow, if I could organize it into groups it would be great and I'd even pay for it. I used to do that with Youtube, but with this ingenious extension I can continue with 1 single account without having to worry about other accounts. I loved i!

?ALMOST EVERY FEATURE IS BEHIND A PAYWALL? It used to be a reasonable addon. Signing in w/ Google account and custom feeds are unavailable unless you are a Patreon.

constant refreshing bug still exists, its in conflict with unhook or something but i wish there was a fix other than just uninstalling unhook.

Great extension looks as if youtube made an upgrade of features on their website

Appeared to work great at first but discovered that trying to view the "videos" tab on any YouTube channel with this extension enabled causes the page to glitch out and constantly try to refresh the videos. Makes it impossible to go through a channels video catalog. Issue seems to persist even when disabling all other extensions. EDIT: The issue appears to be related with the way my system loaded the default filter configurations. Issue resolved after manually adjusting filters. Amended rating.

I love this extension. Dima Nabok, you are awesome. Every idea put into place are things that YT needs to implement, but probably never will. They need you. I hope people notice and appreciate the multiple levels of tabs and labels. If you happen to miss them, it could lead you to mistakenly think videos are missing! Great job!

Edit: This extension is awesome and the developer's commitment is greatly appreciated! Old Review: I'd give this five stars, but it usually seems to glitch out when used with another great YouTube extension I use, called "Ratings Preview". Specifically, it stops the scroll menu on the left side of YouTube from scrolling, and when I'm on the homepage it makes it so that every single link I click on redirects me to one specific video (I guess from my collection), no matter what. For example, when I click on the "History" button, it takes me to this one video by IGN. Same thing happens if I click on any of the video thumbnails under "Recommended"; it always redirects me to this one IGN video. It's kind of disappointing, as I was hoping to use both of these extensions together to deal with YouTube's user-unfriendly interface.

Lovely extension and been enjoying it so far, however since yesterday the app crashed (I think after an update) and after I restarted it all my Groups I previously created are gone :( same on 2 different laptops any chance there is a way to restore them ?

This makes my youtube subscriptions manageable. I classify all my subscriptions into topics that are useful for me and then when I want to watch a particular topic I just turn on that classification. That way I can silence (or watch) by topic. LOVE this extension!

Great app. It should be automatically incorporated into YouTube. Makes managing 400+ subs very easy.

Hey, I think the extension doesn't seem to work on mac. It shows deck on the sidebar and when you click on subscriptions, it has a bar at the top of the page labelled uploads, live, scheduled, watched, #shorts plus a couple other buttons. However, I can't group any of my subscriptions as there is nothing other than deck that was added to the sidebar. Please fix, cheers. P.S. Chrome is up to date as well

One of the useful extensions so far

The extension has a big "Patreon" ad when looking at subscription groups, that cannot be turned off. This makes it very frustrating to use whenever you want to configure it. An otherwise good extension becomes a real pain.

it worked well for a short while, then started to glitch and became useless. rebooting and reinstalling were not helpful.

Dima you are a real hero. Screw YT for taking away their own useful feature like this many years ago. Seriously, thank you. I have 500 subscriptions and need to learn who preaches what on YT amongst my horde of subscriptions. Also you live in Ukraine... I hope you have found a new home if not, charge more for this and I will gladly pay more monthly bcuz i think $3.99 is too low for such an constantly updated useful feature. I loved this extension, but since about 3 weeks ago it has been refreshing my youtube page all the time. I can hardly do anything.

It's so nice. But the pocket screen doesn't work in the pocket screen!

An amazing extension.

Extension is really useful, but now my subscription groups always fall back to showing channels has having unviewed videos. I can click those channels, and it will decrease the count of unviewed videos in that group, but when I come back to youtube, all those channels show as having unwatched videos that I had already watched or cleared. It just started happening over the last couple days so any new content from then onwards I can't clear. Not sure if there is a fix or what is going on.

The extension is good and it's making up for a feature that YouTube should've had. However, for the past 3-5 days (iirc) it keeps showing a pop-up to select an account for google to sync data or something like that. I select it, press ok, then few hours later again, the same pop-up. I'm using the extension for weeks, and this started to happen only in the recent days (no system chances on my side, same browser, same settings etc).

Organizing subscriptions is a critically missing feature of YouTube, and this app adds that feature *brilliantly*. Seriously, it is absolutely perfectly executed, and I could not ask for better.

Simple but sensational!

Discovering this extension made today, hands down, one of the best days of 2022 for me. I can't believe I've been using YouTube for years without thinking to search for a solution for the chaos that is the YT subscription management. I need to follow certain channels in an organized manner every day, and having to check them without this extension is a major pain - not to mention that it's distracting at times, which messes up my productivity and my day. This extension will save me an obscene amount of time and mental effort. I am *eternally* grateful!

Been using it in paid version for close to a year, a bit longer with free version. I totally agree with previous reviewer who said it's one of a kind. As Dima here introduces new features, I'm slowly removing other addons I had, like total playlist time, and I remember it was some other some time ago. Also, support is crazy fast and helpful :) I hope addon will stay with us for many years to come :)

honestly Ive been using it for a few years new but for some reason its recently been having an issue with my youtube side bar?? so Im unable to see any of the things i would usually on it? its just kind of like a blank area as of rn. It's not a big deal but if you ever see this I sure would love to be able to add a new folder for some channels whenever I get my sidebar back.

Love this extension. Don't know why Youtube doesn't offer native "folders", so this apps works quite well providing functionality that should be standard.

only feature i really needed was playlist group nesting. not worth paying $$ for, will find another ext. have no idea if the rest of the extension is worth the money bc all the useful features are behind patreon paywall.

For faster group creation and because I have a lot of group lists, so created new groups on a different youtube account, but when I can transfer the data to a file option, the group files in both accounts do not merge. I tried to do this with worl excel but this time the extension could not identify the newly created file, is it money? need to give it if there is another method can we are share it plz

There are some problems in Brave On the video pages of all channels, the play all button and filter button keep blinking. But it doesn't have this problem in chrome.

I have used many extensions over the years for various projects or to organize my files and this has been the most useful so far!

this app is everything that youtube should have been ! amazing . just please improve the andriod app as its not as polished as the youtube app if you can overlay pockettube ontop of youtube like you have done for the browser with the youtube app i think it would be awesome and so much more refined !

I'm sure it's a good extension, but it's simply not working for me. Nothing is showing up. Nothing on the main page or a video page, or on a channel page. Too bad.

This is the best extension i ever see it just solve my problem for searching thousands of channel which sometimes i forget. so this is the best extension to organize channel which i have subscribed.

As I write this, PocketTube is spins forever when trying to build a playlist. The ONLY time I needed to use it this month and it's ceased to function. I had been a Patreon supporter since day 1 but I cannot continue to pay for something that is causing me mental suffering and does not work consistently anymore. At first, this was the coolest thing ever, but after having to repeatedly rebuild channel groups involving several hundred channels.. Multiple times... This has caused me too much frustration. If this extension EVER works properly again I MIGHT consider becoming a Patreon supporter again but you have officially lost me.

It was working but now it seems most of the functionality is behind a Patreon paywall. My Subscription group has disappeared and there is no option to make another. I only have Videos or Patreon tabs in the options. It was good while it lasted. Time to move on.

It didnt do anything. It would not show my notifications. I was using GUCCI SMART SOCKS.

A while back I kept on saying I wish someone would create an extension on Chrome that would help organize the chaos that's my huge volume of YouTube subscriptions. This has worked wonders for me. Even the base features (which are free) are fantastic and it's just what I was looking for. Thanks for making my YouTube journey much easier! 5 stars!

Lovely extension, adds a lot of what one would expect from Youtube in 2022. Can't speak much to the free version as I did impulse-buy the subscription almost immediately, mostly because of the playlist add-on. In terms of improvements, a full youtube app for iPad would be nice, but I'm guessing that would be a lot to upkeep. Maybe a feature to auto-add/delete videos from a group to a playlist? Other than that it would be nice to connect subscription tags and the "official" youtube hashtags. A 5-stack deck does take 3-4 seconds to load, but other pages don't seem to add more than a second. Hope to see this app succeed, best of luck.

No idea why, but it's just doesn't work in Chrome. I mean, there's literally no sidebar or anything like that after installing it. Guess i'll wait for the updates or something.

Game changer. Just a couple recommendations/problems: -Would appreciate an option to hide the "deck", which I don't use. Also an option to hide the top block on the subscription page with "Uploads - Live - Scheduled - Watched ...". -A group selection drop down (same one found inside channel pages) would be nice next to the subscribe button when looking at channels in search results. -Clicking on a video on any channel page redirects me to the home page, made sure to test it with other extensions disabled (Unhook and Return Dislike Button). Sometimes happens when clicking on a video in the search results.

Not sure if it's a bug or just the default value, but if you click one of the subscription groups and then click one of the channels inside the group, it just gets refreshed, staying on the youtube homepage instead of actually going to the channel page) Is there any way to fix it if it's a known bug? - Edit: It works only temporarily when I turn off the extension 'Improve Youtube!' and then after a while the problems happens again... I guess I just have to choose between the two extension... which is very sad.

Wanted these features for so long but never bothered to look for them. Today I finally decided to search for an extension like this and I can say this is one of the best extension I have ever used. It did exactly what I wanted.

Love it....but does this sync with the app? I've been using the iOS app for a while and have a pretty big setup in there. Just found out about this Chrome extension but even after linking to my Youtube account inside the app they don't seem to be talking to each other. Am I missing something?

I got this so I could hide the hundreds of watched videos from my fav page so I could easily watch the older videos I missed, but the subscription group page only shows the last 15 videos, even if you click 500, so this extension is useless to me

It really annoyed me that YouTube couldn't let you sort subscriptions in the default, so this extension really helped fill in the gap. I have two small critiques: 1) I wish that it could hide your normal subscription menu so that your sidebar wasn't as long 2) The menu is a little bit clunky. Not the worst in the world, but I wish you could just grab subscriptions and slide into categories from the side bar. That being said I love this extension and it's really helpful when you have like 400+ subscriptions like I do. My thanks to the extension creators and keep on improving this! Excellent extension!

I like the app a lot but I guess with the recent update it makes the subscription group playlists unlisted instead of a normal playlist. I generally just used that feature to mass add videos to my watch later but now you can't do that because it's unlisted. (Edit It was fixed! Back to my go-to video manager :)

This is so very welcome. Just two points (using a desktop browser): (1) It would be nice if the extension could keep track when I sign-off and then sign back on with a different ID. Right now, in order to avoid clutter from the other user I just have to use a different browser. (2) When I click on subscriptions, it's nice to see that I can select one group or another. But this is a lot of individual videos. I'd like to click on MANAGE to see all the channel names (but not individual videos) but STILL have the tags /groups available to screen channels in and out. But these are both pretty minor quibbles. It's still a very welcome and valuable addition here. Thank you very much.

If you are a racist and ready to slow down youtube, then the plugin is ok.

This really helps in sorting out various types of channels as YouTube doesn't currently have native support for it. One thing to note is that you can only view one group and channel at a time unless you pay for the subscription, but the subscription itself is pretty cheap (~$40/year). One thing I'd like to see added is an option to sort current livestreams and scheduled/upcoming livestreams above regular videos in each group, as currently they are sorted with the same priority. It would also be nice if you could adjust the width of each group in the deck to display more than one video per row instead of having to go to the individual group to see it better.

None of the features seem very useful to me unless you give them money... which wouldn't likely be a problem if only you can at least get a full feature option temporarily before paying them. I don't need to support a plugin that might simply turn out to have even more restriction unless you pay them even more. I've see that too many times to pay anyone for all of the options unless you are given a temporary pass to try those out.

I'm getting the weird graphical glitch too, and https://userstyles.org/styles/236479/pockettube-sidebar-fix does not load the webpage in my chrome, so even with stylish I can't fix it. This is pulling down my favorite extension hard. I hope you fix this quickly.

I like the useful features like viewing newly added videos, marking videos watched, and making playlists. But it's not always user-friendly in figuring out how to use the basic functions. Also, I found I couldn't do much of anything without taking out a paid subscription.

One of the best, IF NOT THE BEST EXTENSION, I have added to Chrome. I have been looking for something like this for quite a while. Not sure how I have missed it all these years!

By far the most useful extension I've ever used. The only feature missing is the "hide viewed" when you're looking at a channel's video list.

I love the idea, but it refuses to show all of my Subscriptions! It only shows my subs up to the letter "R" so I can't add any channel that starts with any letter after "R" to a group.

Free version is utterly pointless. Youtube video deck has 2 custom columns and unlimited channels, Pocket tube has 1 of each. No purchase option is a deal breaker, there is only subscriptions. I purchased YTVD once and have never had to worry about payment again. Integration into youtube page is nice and seems to work well but the 2 above problems make it not worth using either free or paid.

The number of playlists is limited to 299 and I have more playlists than that so it is inadequate
