Used this for a few years now and it's been amazing. Sorry I never wrote a review sooner. Glad this feature is being rolled into Facebook though. Thank you for an amazing extension that's helped meme lords across the globe!

Thanks for the less distracting times, and info on facebooks new settings that means this plug-in is redundant. Whoever made this, youre awesome and I hope your life is full of lovely things :)

Settings > Notifications > More activity about you > Off ...This will also do it.

Not working in Chrome Version 85.0.4183.121 (Official Build) (64-bit). I don't think this app is being updated or supported anymore.

Excellent. Good work Ishibashi ! Wow... today I have to reinstall it because it was updated and needed it. And for a short period it was not working (until I reinstalled it). Having it missing makes me appreciate what a great add on extension this is. It leaves only the important notification that normally require a response! Still 5 stars!

Pretty useful. If it seems like it doesn't work, just close Chrome and open it again. Will show you the number of notifications including likes and reactions but won't show you those.

This extension is a Godsend! I operate a Facebook group where we do periodic photo contests. I load all of the entries into one huge FB photo album. Them members vote for their favorites by LIKING them. For two days I was flooded with LIKE notifications. This will help tremendously. Thank you so much!

It's not working in any manner. I still get the notifications that I have to mark as 'read' in my drop-down for notifications, as well as the pop-up bubble and red number in the upper left. Neither right- nor left-clicking the app's icon gives anything to click on that takes me to a menu to manage any possible options for the extension. So it just kinda sits there.

can we just get an update for all the "loved" and Smiley-face "reaction" notification bullsh!t now plz? that would be awesome. otherwise this is amazing and saved me from deleting fb all together

If you want to also hide reactions, I've created a version of this extension that now includes this feature. Just download the file linked below, unzip, go to Chrome Extension settings, click "Developer Mode," click Load unpacked extension..., then choose the unzipped file. It doesn't hide bubble notifications (on bottom left ) and red alert on earth icon (on top right). only like notifications in notification feed. is it the way this should work?

Works perfectly for likes, but not for the new reactions like "love", "wow", "haha, and "angry".

Really really gooooodddd!!!! I think Facebook is almost usable now.

Great extension, helps me cut on the countless notifications from "Likes" on my photos.

That it still shows the badge is ok by me, I know that sometimes I have a badge but the list is empty when I open it. I also don't mind the like notifications in the lower left that still pop up. But now FB has implemented the "react" thing, which sort of falls in the same bin as "like", so it would be nice if this extension also removed all the "X has reacted to your image"

All it does is take away the likes from the drop down notification menu. You still get the (1+) notification icon and you still get the like notifications in the bottom of the screen. Essentially, it's 100% useless.

It is really great! I wish you made it available for other browsers like Firefox, Opera etc.

Not sure what everyone is talking about... This works just as described. It hides all like notifications. Still shows notification for comments which is what it's supposed to do. Thanks!

I still get the red notification in Facebook, but not the actual "so and so "liked" your post in the drop down underneath. Thee distraction of the red notification is what I want to turn off.

At first I was not getting Like notifications, but I was getting repeat notifications of the same "Comments" over and over, and it kept notifying me even after I turned off notifications for the post. So I uninstalled and re-installed, and now I get notifications of both Likes and Comments, but when I check the dropdown list, only the Comment notifications appear. That's an improvement, but not what I wanted.

Great for people with large followings. Allows you to focus on comments that are more connecting. You can click through likes at a later time and not be consumed in real time by like notifications.

Definitely works. Thank you! That was terribly annoying, and FB gives you no way to remove them in any other way. It does delay the display of the panel (and scrolling) slightly, but I understand that it's a trade-off: the little bit of time it takes the extension to filter the likes out? I'll take that over wading through my notifications ANY day.

Just want to note that the creator has updated this extension, and it currently works. =)
