From November 11th, 2011 to January 12th, 2022, 32% user give 5-star rating, 13% user give 4-star rating, 4% user give 3-star rating, 15% user give 2-star rating, 36% user give 1-star rating. for Request Maker chrome extension.
Me parece una aplicación muy buena; Tengo una consulta, como hace request maker para evadir el certificado SSL/TLS, como funciona?
Does the job! For those leaving bad ratings because they need more advanced stuff, just get something else like Postam.
Dies after 1 day.
helpful and great.
it's very good
Doesn't make the request locally, can't access localhost.
this extension always gets broken.
Misleading title: It should be named Request Tamper/Modifier instead of Request Maker as it can't create new request
Doesn't actually allow you to modify POST requests, it just allows you to redo them
i use this for long 4 years
Doesn't seem to be logging any requests anymore.
not working after last update with new icon -_-
Very clean extension, not tedious at all.
Oh thanks man, This is exactly what I was looking for. Your filter option to filter GET and POST your auto fill text entries each and every feature of this app is awesome. Thank you buddy. Please keep this app alive forever and don't change the existing features and interface.
I'm giving this extension a bad rating not because of any of its normal functions (I barely used it). But after installing this extension, I can no longer view PDFs in the browser anymore. I'm not sure why the pdf viewer is related but it's a deal breaker regardless.
* Can not edit raw POST data. * Can not enter multiline data or non-x-form-www-url-encoded data. * Request parameters are not sent in POST. * Really hard to find the interface.
Works pretty well once you figure out how to find and select requests from the envelope icon in the address bar. I'm a backend developer but I needed a quick way to capture a request and re-submit repeatedly with varying data (thus avoiding a tedious UI). It does the job.
Not intuitive at all. When you open the tool you can't see the page. Furthermore, you can't close the tool - you have to uninstall it. Why not add a tab to Dev Tools?
Does exactly what I needed where other header inspectors did not. Have not used to make requests, just inspect calls.
It doesn't log form requests, it only shows data for whole pages requested via the url bar.. Pretty worthless tool and looks like it was made in a day..
For some reason this extension breaks the Google hangouts extension. Hangouts windows will only load with a white screen, disabling the extension instantly fixes it and re-enabling it instantly breaks it. Had to uninstall it!
It does not edit the request properly, moreover it occupies the whole page and unable to close it. Dont waste time downloading this tool. Better use firefox with tamperdata
This is quite a nice concept, but it's a horrible implementation.
idiotic and cant even figure out how to open it stupid extension worst
Love it!!!
I couldn't figure out how to make it do something useful. BTW, I have a degree in computer science and have been developing web apps for about a decade.
Does not work for me.
Does not work at all :(
So many things: 1.) When you click on a request to edit, it defaults to opening in the current tab, so you lose the state of whatever page you were working on. 2.) It doesn't properly capture pages that use arrays. For example, most ASP pages will assign multiple values to the same POST parameter (Making it an array). This extension only shows one of the populated values. 3.) You can't copy or export parameter values easily. 4.) Why can't I just export the entire request into a text editor where I can do things like copy/paste, find/replace, etc, and just import that text file back in?
Works for me.
Tried to create a POST request, but as soon as I try to add a second header parameter, it crashes...
I've never had any problems. Thanks for a great tool!
Crashes when I try to add a second key value pair to send via post data. Not useful at all.
Good performance . Thank you developer .
The idea behind this extension is brilliant and incredibly useful! Unfortunately, I have found it to be unusably buggy. I only used it for about 10 minutes before I uninstalled it, as it crashed more often than it actually worked. I made about 8 requests in total, 5 of which crashed. I noticed that any time I made a GET request to my local web service that returned a 4xx response code, the extension crashed. As well, passing multiple HTTP POST parameters in a single request seems to crash it 100% of the time. I am tempted to just write my own HTTP request maker extension. I would certainly use it if it was actually stable and functional.
Really helpful to get the raw data of a web request.
Many times crash before I can use it
Good idea, but it crashes if you add a key without a value and either already have a populated key-value pair for post data or add one after the empty value.
I was looking for THIS. Thank you to the developer. I'm always working with AJAX requests and they don't show up in the Inspector unlike Firebug. Opening the Request Maker in a new tab would be cool !
This app crashes constantly when trying to add more than 1 post parameter. I don't see anything in my usage out of the ordinary, just a plain old POST endpoint with two straightforward parameters.
Absultely essential. Thanks lots.
i can't imagine without this tool. this tool increasing my productivity in multiple folds in my REST API development.
Crashed with and without JS when tried to run on my intranet site.
Really, a document to view webapage that doesn't render the page correctly?
Amazing little extension. it does exactly what you need, get's the POST/GET values in a easy to read format
Bloody good! I'm just missing a "clear logged requests" button.
Very useful extension! After clicking on a particular POST/XHR,, I would prefer to open the Request contents in a separate tab instead of in the same tab. When you press back-button, some AJAX enabled websites don't remember the last page show. And hence opening in a new tab will be helpful.
