Okay you can not drag a gif animation in chat or comment on DeviantArt so i wont use it. all what you can is to use link as web address which a people need to go to their page to see a animation. And that is not a point

Nice and clean, but it would be perfect if it had a 'favorites' tab to store our most used gifs...

I use it on chats and it works but I have to click the GIF to get the big version before dragging and dropping. The only thing I dont like is that I cant hit a hot key like cntrl+A to open the Giphy user interface to grab gifs faster. I have to click the extension each time which isnt good if your using it in a fast paced environment. Some hot keys would be a great addition.

Used to work just fine with drag and drop into IRC Client chats like IRCCLOUD, but as of recent, dragging and dropping no longer seems to work. Every time I try to drag an image/emoji into the chat edit box area (where you type text), nothing happens... [previously would paste the embedded URL there and I'd just have to hit ENTER to send]. Using latest version of Google Chrome. Please fix! This is a 5 star browser extension if it works like it used to, again. Thanks!

I don't know why it not let me use in google slide anymore, i can not drag & drop, but in the past i can, why????

Anybody got a fix for drag & drop in google chat? I think my work is starting to get grumpy b/c I keep downloading all these gifs to send.

It used to work for me. Now when I click the button to open GIPHY in an email draft, it sends the email instead of opening GIPHY. Help?

Works on google docs and i use google docs a lot and having GIPHY there made is so much more fun!!

it is worst i was satisfied by the GIF's but when i try to upload any GIF to any messaging application then it uploads a link instead of a GIF.It doesn't even work for any applications or in Gmail too.I would rate it 0 Stars if i could .

Awesome extension, I use this to add GIFs to github comments several times a day. I also use the GIPHY for gmail extension for gmail. It won't work everywhere, some sites just don't accept the GIF drop

I used to be able to right-click on a gif directly from the extension and it would download a .gif file. Now when I try to do it it download the gif as a webp file and I can't do anything with it. I have to click through to the actual site and download from there....

Love being able to drop in Stickers into Google Slides. Sick update

Just saw the new updates, and its got some major improvements. Updated grid is super quick loading content, has some additional navigation points for different content types, and now you can grab animated Stickers.

Is this an amazing extension? Yes. But will it change human behavior and lead to a happier society? Also yes.

It's important to be able to get a GIF as fast as possible, no matter where your hands are dipped into the digital realm. GIPHY has the good you need.

I love this extension! They just updated it and now I can see gifs and stickers, a bunch of curated content, and it still has the search bar. I love how easy the drag and drop is. SO COOL!

Won't work with the Google Hangouts extension. I can drag and drop in the hangouts from my gmail but not to the Hangouts extension.

the first page works fine but whenever I search for gifs they don't load at all

This Giphy extension is handy as it save a good few of clicks in moments when you really want to post some well chosen gif

needs to expand giphy site links. Doesn't actually support drag and drop to e.g. github comments.

Great app. Does it all for me. Sometimes it will try to suggest changes I don't want, and why it changes all the first letters on line entry's in Gmail composition to a capital letter is beyond me, but easily ignored. I Enrolled to the annual program after free ran out because I love this app!

You have to put the link in your URL browser, so it's kind of inconvinent, but it still works

Used to be great, but know whenever I try to put a gif into Hipchat, it uploads it as a .png file instead of a .gif.

there is a really stupid problem. everytime i click the extension, it doesn't adjust itself according to the screen's resolution. as a result, i cannot access the search text box because it gets hidden by my task bar. (-.-")

Guys, this extension is awesome, although is missing the copy image command. There's also a bug. When open, and hitting Ctrl/CMD+W to close tab, Chrome crashes.

I tried to use it on facebook and you can only see the link not the gif. Also I can't scroll to get to the other gifs at the bottem.

I love the easy look up of GIF's, but dragging and dropping to a WYSIWYG is no bueno. I get wanting to NOT link to the .gif, but it would be great if it was easily accessible.

Tried to use it on FB. It copied and pasted the link, but no actual gif I tried 4 times. I won't waste anymore time trying.

Good stuff, but it'd be great if there could be a way to save favorites. Some gifs I use all the time and would like quicker access!

save for the implicit promulgation of the heinous soft g pronounciation of GIF, this is a beautiful chrome extension.

Came here to say the exact thing others have said: 1. You can only preview gifs in tiny form. 2. You cannot click and go to a larger version. 3. You need to paste giphy's url into the url bar and go to that page to then right click and copy the direct link (because what they show as "copy link" is not the direct one). Good idea but horrible experience. Uninstalling it now.

YOU CAN NOT COPY AND PASTE THE IMAGE. You have to copy the URL, then paste it into a new browser window. Then right click and copy image if you want to paste THE ACTUAL IMAGE into an email or somthing else. What's the point of this extension if it gives me extra work to accomplish what I want to do? Thanks for your hard work, Giphy team but I am afraid this is missing the most important feature I want from this extension.
