I hate it! It doesnt make any motions just like the other reviews. Not convenient! probably will HACK U. DO NOT INSTALL!

As someone who is used to using Vivaldi but needs Chrome for some specific dependencies, mouse gestures have become an essential part of my web browsing - they make everything so much faster. Unfortunately this extension doesn't work on the chrome home page for me, and intermittently on other pages, it doesn't always let me use them. Even in the tutorial, the up-left gesture doesn't work, the tutorial can't seem to recognize I'm making it even though the page draws the gesture lines. That's a shame as this seems like it has the most potential as the best mouse gesture extension for chrome right now, and I'm rooting for it to work without issue.

"run script" functionality is broken. and "open tab"s uselessly aggressive url validation doesn't let me put a bookmarklet in there either.

I used this for years and it just stopped working! I don't get why they scam you like this! Usually they do this to hack or collect info on you. DON'T INSTALL THIS......

Terrible extension, it does the job but it fails to implement such necessary features, the blacklist doesn't work with multi lines as it should, that means you can't blacklist more than ONE website (wow super useful !), the extension send a 'null' request to remote servers if we don't use one of their st*pid cursor (because the devs are bad at their job and couldn't figure out how to not use a url() CSS directive when we don't want to use a cursor, instead they leave it as url(null) ! GOOD JOB ! and not really eco-friendly (1 request every time 1 user opens a page, and we are talking about millions of users here, I let you imagine...) And by the way this extension is "mouse gestures" why'd you implement a funny mouse cursor feature, if I want a different mouse cursor I would download a "mouse cursor" extension, I hate it when devs implement more features than the extension is for, especially when the initial requirements are not even met perfectly. 1 STAR because we can't give a 0 !

Hi Support, The ReOpen Tab Gesture is still not working even though after upgrading to 6.0.1 version. Could you guys fix this please?

Split tabs and merge tabs gestures do not work as expected. Split tabs is supposed to move the current tab and all tabs to the right to a new window. Currently it only moves the current tab to a new window. Merge tabs is supposed to merge the current window with all its tabs to the other open window (or the last selected window if there are more than one). Currently, it just merges every open window into one. Dragging a link with the super drag functionality is supposed to allow us the option of either opening it in the background or the foreground. Currently, no matter which of the two is set in the settings, the link always opens in the foreground. These issues severely hamper my utility of this extension. Otherwise, this is an absolutely essential extension.

Two features of Super Drag on links that I value have been broken for some time now. I have made multiple attempts to report the symptoms. I have reinstalled it twice. (Now on 6.01.) The (up) gesture to Copy a URL does not work at all. The (left) gesture to open in new tab always opens it in the foreground even when it is clearly configured to open in the background. (The which side option for left and right does work. But always in the foreground.) I really like the extension. Indeed, I have recommended it to many. But I would surely like to see those features working again.

It's unusable and broken. Custom gestures aren't saved properly. It seems more time was spent adding animated pixel gifs than fixing core issues.

If you don't let the devs invade your privacy, they disable unrelated features.

featured stopped working, demands to agree to risk privacy intrusion otherwise it'll block features. shame, I used it for years. Moving on.

Bloated. The gestures take a little while more to respond, compared to the super lightweight gesture extensions like SmartUp Gestures. There's also the issue about walling off certain features unless you gave CrxMouse more privacy permissions. I've been using this extension for years, and it has just gotten worse ever since.

I'd submit a bug report but my company firewall won't let me into your google doc. 'Reopen closed tab' has stopped working. I have chrome Version 105.0.5195.127 (Official Build) (64-bit). One star for all the time it has worked, one star for the other less useful gestjures. Please fix.

In the tutorial, holding down the left mouse button and going to the right a little bit doesn't work.

Broken features and sending "null"-requests to every page you visit. Worked great for many years, I don't understand why it suddenly had to be bloated with unnecessary features which inevitably broke core functionality, all it had to do was allow some basic mouse gestures..

Been using this since 2017. And as someone with accessibility needs, it's been absolutely useful. For the past week or so none of the Drag texts or Gestures work making the extension useless. Please do fix it ASAP.

It's unfair to finally write a review after using it for years so I'm giving it a 3 stars for all the times it has worked, but recently the mouse gesture completely broke and reinstalling or reenabling don't help at all. Will miss it if the issue doesn't resolve. Edit: Changed it to 4 stars as some issues are resolved.

Wheel gestures have stopped working all of a sudden. Right click + scroll up or down is so ingrained in the way I work that I need to find a working alternative right now.

Super Drag (Copy Link Text, Copy Link URL) no longer working on the windows version

This extension used to be perfect until the developer added a ton of unnecessary features and broke the settings page. Settings are no longer saved, and you have to re-enable the extension every time you restart Chrome. Incredibly infuriating.

Breaks multiple sites by appendint body element with 'style="cursor: url(""), default;"' I haven't touched the setting at all so it should not do anything. This calls /null on almost every site and some of them are not usable because of it.

The "reopen closed tab" is not working. I'm 100% sure I've got this gesture listed. Not working properly on Chromium builds from 100 onward. Gestures don't work, custom mouse pointers massive etc.

The extension is great when it works, but it started to remain off by default after starting Chrome. Always needing to enable it first makes it very uncomfortable to use.

Your team have broke the most used productive tool in Chrome. Now its interface is broken, constantly sending mysterious /null requests, when not agreeing the terms. New versions sucks, every software, always.

Interferes with my company's JIRA website, JIRA won't work correctly (e.g., clicking "Resolve" button would hang). I have to uninstall it.

Great extension, until you realize that it breaks the right-click function. This problem is hugely annoying and problematic. If I didn't have to double right-click every time I need to open the right-click menu, this extension would be a 4-star extension. Add the ability to Save Image As when I drag an image and it'd be a 5-star extension.

Causes strange, difficult-to-troubleshoot issues with some pages loading. I'll have to find an alternative gesture extension.

It was awesome until a recent upgrade breaks it

This extension breaks logins on sites like costco.com and teslafi.com. It also hides mouse cursor (makes it invisible) while the pages are loading. Used to work fine, but is terribly broken in the latest update. Uninstalling.

A recent update has caused many problems such as login errors on a few sites, Quickbooks is very slow and some things dont work, disabling CrxMouse fixes all issues and re-enabling brings the issues back.

Used to be great. Now asks for access to all of your URLs and stops working if you don't agree. Next time you decide to do it, remember: users that no longer trust you don't come back. Ever.

CrxMouse Chrome™ Gestures 5.0.1 DOES NOT WORK WITH MY MACINTOSH. It never has. I've tried it off and on over several years and on several different Macintosh models, different mice, and MacOS versions. I just tried it again and once again it fails to handle my right click properly. All kinds of freakish things occur when it tries to perform some gesture. Half the time it simply doesn't recognize a gesture at all and does the default context menu. Yet when I use the smartUp Gestures extension it works. However, smartup doesn't have all the gesture options I prefer, and which CrxMouse does. At least smartup works. My main browser has been Firefox for more than 10 years and I've wanted to use Chrome for many years but while Firefox handles Mac gestures perfectly, Chrome has ALWAYS fumbled them on Mac. The developers used to claim it's Chromes fault due to the way it handles right clicks on Mac. That's pure BULL, since some gesture extensions for Mac handle the right click just fine.

Stopped working about a week ago, but I got it working again by resetting my Mouse Gestures to default settings. Saw some people saying it won't work unless you agree to give them your data, but that's not true considering I'm using it fine. Besides the past week it's been great, and now it's working again perfectly.

Have used for years and all sudden stopped. i uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing... theres no other ones close to this out there hope works again soon

I've been using this extension for years, but this latest update (Jan. 21 2022) just ruined everything 1. It asks for access to your visited URL, for better experience. Really? (I didn't agree so I lost the mouse rocker function, whereas drag and gestures are still available) 2. It's not compatible with older version. After updating to the new version, it seems the old and new setting are combined. As a result, one gesture would result in two identical behivors (e.g., super drag a link opens two tabs). And this can't be fixed by remove and reinstall

Latest update of 21-Jan-2022 now requires the following permissions! Read your browsing history Read and change your bookmarks Read and modify data you copy and paste Browing history?! I just want mouse gestures.

Not a bad extension, but really needs a way to hide the bug report in the context menu. It's really not necessary to clutter the right click menu with this useless item that virtually nobody will ever use.

Doesn't work after last update unless you give a permission to access user's data! Also there is a bug. When you open a page and scroll down a bit than use mouse gesture to scroll to the bottom, it doesn't scroll to the very bottom of the page - some small part is still left below.

This extension used to be good. These days they claim to only need access to your visited URLs to provide gesture "recommendations", but if you disagree to the data collection the extension straight up won't work. It'll show the gesture paths on screen, but not execute any functions. Use AutoControl instead, which has the additional bonus of working on all kinds of tabs.

A long time user here. I've been using this extension since I've switched from old version of Opera that supported this functinality natively back in 2015-ish. It does a great job and should be in everybody's toolkit

I used to use Maxthon browser and among my favorite things about it were mouse gestures. Now I can have it with Chrome and I like it a lot.

So far, all I'm seeing is "No popular gestures for this page","This domain doesn't support mouse gestures", and I'm thinking it is conflicting with my Auto Copy extension, but I'll give it a little time and update.

I still really Love using it and it's one of the very 1st Extensions I add to a new Machine Account or Browser!! I've also started using a Mac recently and there I do seem to encounter an issue fairly frequently (same Browsers but on OSx)... where it appears to stop working, like it almost gets suspended or something like that. It seems to works for some time and then am no long able to access any of the Gestures. Right clicking to initiate the Gestures instead triggers the default browser's "right click" menu, so there seems to be a conflict with how Mac by default, handle the "right click" mouse operations (esp' on when on YouTube). I haven't fully nailed down or isolated this issue as usually able to "overcome" it by simply disabling and then re-enabling the CRXMouse Ext'. *If this is a known issue or there exists a solution/workaround for this, then please share it* Otherwise it's still the top Gestures add-on out there and def' still a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ "Gem" for me esp' when on my primary Windows PC!! The gestures worked alright. Not smooth as a native feature in Opera, but very close to it and many more options!

I had used this extension for as long as I know but started having issues in Chrome a year or two ago where I'd have to double click the right click button fast or I couldn't bring up the right click menu. Did a google search where they suggested disabling this extension if you have it, I did, and that was absolutely my issue. So unfortunately this causes me issues in Chrome and I have to uninstall it. I left 3 stars because it had worked fine for quite some time.
