Helpful for my specific need. (PC connected to tv, don't like getting up so I just link my phone with "Youtube tv" and control it from there) One problem I think is caused by this extension, It seems to max the quality on every video I watch on the normal YouTube website.

it allowed me to boot into youtube's tv mode, but whenever I try to play a video it asks me to sign in (or use a guest account), so I use the guest account and it flickers from starting the video, and then back to sign in. I choose a user, it repeats, etc. a good start. any suggestions?

Why does this plugin needs access to all website, why not restrict it just to youtube domains?
In general, works. But at some point I noticed 4K videos are buffering at the regular YouTube website. I tried turning this extension off and this fixed it ?

Doesn't work at all. Youtube.com/tv immediately redirects to desktop version. Fix this garbage or take it down.
Love it! Really like having the separate icon on the taskbar to click on to minimize and open back up quickly.
Even on the desktop version it changes it to the highest video quality.
It works, but max quality only goes up to 720p no matter what I do, and 60fps videos don't work.
There should be an option to select Video resolution. By default it is going for 8K or 4K and cpu use %100.
Very confusing. I can't tell if this app is for YouTube or YouTube TV. If it's for YouTube TV, it doesn't work. Please make less confusing documentation.

Hey thanks for this, however is there any way for it to work at 21:9 on an ultrawide monitor? Only displaying as 16:9 for me and am getting horizontal and vertical black bars on videos.
Im sure the app is great but I cant play any video anytime i try it automatically goes to the end and back to the home screen

Amazing, I don't need to switch to the native app of my TV when I'm using a computer (when and if this ever works flawlessly). Unfortunately the videos I watch are not being added to watch history which makes this useless for me. Anyone else with the same issue? Pausing and unpausing history does nothing =/ (Running on Edge Chromium)

Works but there should be an option to select Video resolution. By default it is going for 4K and it is may not stream smooth on old laptops.

I sadly am not able to use Fullscreen Mode, nothing works, pressing F11 does nothing, pressing F11 on another tab and using Crtl + Shift + Tab, it just skips the tab... sadly not able to use it the wanted way but its still good that you could still access it even without Fullscreen
amazing extension! it helped me bypass the "you are being redirected to youtube.com"

Video quality only goes up to 720p. Other than that, the extension does exactly what it's meant to do with no pesky popup ads or tabs unlike the other addons on here.
I simply cannot thank you enough for this extension Danny! I use it when I have friends over and we are listening to music. I simply give everyone the code, then they can add videos to the playlist while the music videos play on my projector! I really hope you continue updating this extension and keep it working because it has really been so valuable. Thanks again! The only issue I have is my projector isn't full HD so to get videos to play in 1080p, I need to launch the site on my monitor first and drag it over, not sure if that can be resolved though.

Can't full screen for some reason (using F11). other than that it works.
Works! But play pause and controls dont show up! Even clicking on the video doesn't pause the video... Any fix for that??
