Easy solutions for leveling up your "email" marketing. Vidyard has been a game-changer for prospects who have ghosted us and for relaying details that need to be carried on beyond out main POC.

I have used Vidyard in my previous and current roles and it seems to leave prospects so surprised to receive a personalized video. Super easy and honestly fun to make!

Very easy to use. Love that all I have to do to redo a video is click one button. The copy link is right below the video and you can change the title on the same screen. Appreciate the option to record screen with my face and record without! Lots of options to make sharing tips, content, and information easier.

When we found we were needing to record Remote Meetings and quick tech how-tos for our small company (<15 EEs), Vidyard proved itself to be just the ticket. Very easy to use, and easy to edit, it's become a trusted part of my work toolbox. Thanks for the great work!

I had to use it because some clients asked for Vidyard videos, however is a great tool. I need to learn how to use it and get the most out of it

I love this tool! I work with customers from a variety of countries and backgrounds. In addition sharing resources adding video to my communication is essential to drive customers to the outcomes that we're looking to solve. Great tool and very easy to use!

I had jittering and sound recording sync issues with this service which led me to stop using it in favor of something a bit more robust. However since a team member had already paid for a year of the Pro, I didn't think much of it. Flash forward to last week and I was billed at a new (higher!) price, without an invoice notice prior to the renewal or an email confirmation of the payment: found the payment on my card statement. Nice shady billing practice! Of course, their terms require a 60-day notice to cancel (which is insane for an app), and now I am going back and forth with their customer service team since the charge was made by a previous employee and the renewal wasn't authorized before I go to my card company. For a middling quality video app with a TERRIBLE and anti-customer billing policy, they get 1-star.

Really easy to use the Chrome extension and drops you into the dashboard super quick. Love the whole process with Vidyard. The Customer Service is very attentive and quick.

Two issues. I know people on School Chromebooks who have to use browser games. I know other people do too. This will close out the tab without telling you. If the game doesn't automatically save progress, there's a chance that data would be gone, possibly ruining things like losing the rare drop you got on camera. The other issue is that I have to pay to download my video. I don't know about other 12 y/o children, but I don't have money to pay for anything! If you're gonna make the service better, at least give like an option to open the website upon finishing your video and it's like togglable. but thank you for a fun 23 minutes :D

Is very user-friendly, which makes it great for sharing quick tutorials and videos. However, it causes lag and slows down my computer. Also would be helpful if it were available in other search engines.

Wish you could move the widget recording remote overlay as it goes over some crucial screen elements at times and makes it impossible to use properly.

I regularly use Vidyard to share quick clips/tutorials of my product, send prospecting videos to new customers, and even to send quick video recaps to my internal team. Very lightweight & user friendly platform, 10/10 recommend.

Been using Vidyard for 5+ years, and would highly recommend it to anyone! It really allows me to reach more potential clients, and humanize the digital / remote experience. Make sure to use the Gif feature, it definitely gets more prospects / clients to respond.

I learned about Vidyard from my sales networking group. After being in sales for over 30 years, Vidyard has quickly proven to be a unique and dynamic way to get someones attention...I have created a couple of personal (and generic) videos to prospect for new business and i couldn't be happier with the short term results I have received so far. Seems you can teach an old dog new tricks!

No dark mode. Can't find a way to record tab.

Overall, I really, really like Vidyard and have been using it in my outreach/follow-ups to customers. I have a long list of "turn this email into a video" to-dos and plan on using Vidyard for all of that. I think, as with most tools/apps, there are features that I probably don't know about and, therefore, aren't using the platform to it's max capacity. I also see other reviews talking about a paid version - I'm sure there are more, really great features in the paid version, but for a free resource, this is a great one!

Very useful and I've used this tool in all of my businesses. I've noticed that people don't respond to written text as much as a video and thus,the conversion rate for me with video is extremely high if done the right way. I highly recommend this tool to everyone. This tool helped me reach out to employers,clients/customers easier and they feel that it's more personable for me to reach out. I pretty much standout more than everyone else trying to reach my prospect.

This is one of the EASIEST tools to use. I work in a call center so having a tool to use to screen record for remote trainings, instructions, has been the best. I can record my mic and webcam. Yes we could use Zoom but Zoom often times has issues and does not tell me how many views I get. This was critical for me as a manager. I also love that this was just an extension in Chrome! Simple, easy, fast, useful!

What a great tool that i now use daily to add a little human touch on communications with our community and to connect as a human and break the too many emails back and forth.

I love the idea of this app, but I have had multiple issues with my camera turning off after it was initially on. If I share my whole screen and then go from tab to tab it just turns off my video. I'm still able to share my screen, but clients can't see me. It would also be pretty neat if you could embed the videos into email and clients could play the emails from inside their email instead of being redirected. A lot of the videos I do are less than 2 minutes. Great idea, but could use improvement.

Great tool. Good way to send short demo videos to prospects who are trying to gauge interest from the rest of their team. Simple and easy to use, highly recommend.

Initially thought using video was overrated or it wouldn't change much. However, Vidyard does so much more than video they have great tutorials and guides/templates to help you get started and it has helped me get more engagement in my cold emails. It helps build that human interaction in our growing remote world and I am here for it!

I love using Vidyard and the chrome extension makes it so easy to record videos, restart if I mess up, and edit videos after I finish recording.

It works for what I am trying to do now, a little limited though. I wish you could use the small circle frame on the normal videos and not just screen recording. It looks much more professional that way but I dont need to share what is on my screen. I also have had some issues of lagging after making small trim edits, seems to freeze up. It would also be nice for the thumbnail to be the same quality of the video being played - I shot in 60fps and the thumbnail looks like it was taken on a digital camera from 2003. I also would prefer the video actually embed into the email and not be a link to anothe rpage. Thanks

The extension itself works great. I love the capability to screen record with my live camera on in the bubble on the screen. Great live features. Great simple hosting. You can't edit videos with Vidyard, but I would rather save the money on subscription costs and edit videos on my computer apps and upload to Vidyard for easy tracking and integration capabilities.

Lack of editing options is frustrating, be perfect or start over.

I love using video to connect w prospects and clients! It keeps me "human" to them therefore allowing relationships to develop over the computer screen. Vidyards templates and education tips are super helpful for keeping it FRESH!

Vidyard has been a fun and different experience for the bdr role. It has added a little more excitement than the traditional phone and email. Vidyard has made understanding the process of adding video to my cadence and the different types options available. Like most things, it has it's kinks, but from my understanding they are working on it!

I just began using Vidyard for internal communications to show my sales teams how to correct common mistakes within our CRM, giving kudos for net new wins to my sales & support warriors along with completing an introduce of myself & specific business unit to new recruits as they begin the on-boarding process. Some of my account executives have developed personalized client outreach videos that show prospects how our product & services can help them generate more revenue, reduce costs, deliver better online customer experience and more. Using Vidyard to share who they are along with showcasing specific details in the background screen to help a prospect understand we have done our due diligence around their business. These Vidyard videos work and have created new lines of engagement for us.

I'm a pretty huge fan of VidYard. I use it multiple times per week for Sales. My clients are busy, sometimes I don't need a 30 minute meeting on their books, I just need to share my screen and provide an update. VidYard works incredibly well for Asynchronous communication with clients. Current best platform - Room for growth on analytics and tracking, but otherwise really strong. Best current video platform I've used.

Just started using Vidyard, and I love that they provide all the tools that you need to design and create your own personalized video. The tracking features are excellent, and really help me to know if my audience is being reached and engaging.

I use it a lot to explain doubts or projects to people from my team that work in other cities. It is useful because instead of making a meeting I just make the video and I do not need to explain myself more than once.

It's so useful when I'm working remotely with different people's languages and the video can show itself what is the issue I'm referring to, so the recipient get what I mean in seconds.

The only way to make a quick significant emotional experience. If I get this instead of something boring and lengthy on DM, email or SMS, chances of me stopping, answering or even remembering are higher.

I love this extension! Their support is excellent.

Vidyard support is very responsive and they attempt to help in any way they can...5 stars for the support team. But the extension, web app, and Vidyard for Enterprise are still wonky and confusing to navigate. The online video editor is not precise. Video quality is tough to get right. I also have trouble getting audio and video to sync sometimes. The playlist feature is awesome, but it takes forever to build one if you have some video assets in your company's shared folders and the new video greeting you just recorded is in your personal folder (that's where it is placed automatically). The video analytics are sometimes helpful, but not always consistent. On one report, it said I had x number of views of a video during a specific time period. On another report, it said I had 0 views during that same time. Not to mention actually navigating to this information is difficult. Their heart is in the right place, but the interface and navigation really needs a big overhaul.

This is an awesome prospecting tool! Use it daily to connect with prospects. It is quick and easy to use. I need to work on my skills but once you get the hang of it(which is fast) you can do so much!

It as made my job that much easier, I can just show my customers instead of describing. A big time saver.

I recorded my 1 hour class and found out you can't download the video unless you pay ( no heads up either ). Also the video had no volume.

It's actually my new favourite Chrome extension. Very simple to use, fast, stable and helps me a lot in my everyday activities at work. Widely recommended!!!

Great and usefull to make test case and evidences

I just started using Vidyard and I love it! Aesthetically it's better than the other services I've used. A few things I wish it had is the ability to add a link at the end of the video for a CTA and a frame/picture to choose/take to display as the thumbnail. However, I'm using the free version so those things may very well be included in the paid version. At first it took me awhile to get accustomed to navigating the features. When I'd get prompted to choose which screen to share it threw me off the first 11 times creating a video! LOL! User error for sure, but I'd end up creating hour long videos unintentionally. Now that I've got the hang of it I use it regularly. Overall it's a great service!

Enjoying this extension a lot. Using it to capture system faults/bugs, while working on developing and/or refining a software. It's helpful to show others what happened on your screen when their not necessarily seeing the same thing ;)

I use this extension multiple times a week for the last couple months. It is so easy to use, quick, and it does the basic things perfectly.

I really enjoy the how user-friendly Vidyard is but I have 1 issue with it. Sometimes I'll be recording videos just fine, but then all of a sudden it doesn't let me record. I'll click record and nothing happens. Not sure if it's my computer or the software. Another thing, Zoom has a feature that "enhances appearance", it'd be great if you guys had that too! It's super subtle, but pretty much smooths your face out a little. For instance, with Zoom I don't need to wear makeup, with Vidyard, I feel like I do hahah.

I've added the extension on my Chrome browser, and it seems to work great. Intuitive UI, and things work as expected. For a free subscription, it exceeds expectations.

Not what I was looking for which is fine but I can't simply delete my account now. I have to email support and verify I own the account. Who has time for that?

Love this extension. It's quick and easy to use. I use it often to train customers on how to use our SAS product. Rather than set up a meeting, I just do a quick video and send the customer the link. Love this extension.

I love Vidyard. It helps me every day, all day! It helps me cut down on back and forth emails internally and externally. It helps me convey tone that would be lost in an email. I will say the extension can be finicky when you have to update chrome. But the perks out weigh anything bad, and honestly that's software. I also love that there's now an individual package I can purchase that's affordable. This way I don't have to ask my company to purchase.
