Slow on mac M1 after recording don't even understand where is the video

I've been using this extension for over 2 years and it's been fantastic. Have recorded hundreds of videos. Super easy to use.

False advertising Broken software Fake reviews Rude support Buggy functions Pay for everything Glitched videos Videos do not show up in library Trashy editing/cropping Basically.. you guys are an embarrassment. Deleted after less than 5 minutes just a pure waste of time and space on my chromebook.

Story Xpress is a perfect chrome extension, the UI of the dashboard is good, it is very responsive, I really really love it and I will highly recommend it for another people to install

StoryXpress would be the greatest video recording platform out there... IF IT WORKED. We are beyond frustrated with the amount of bugs. The interface looks great and the ease of use is (or would be – if it worked) outstanding, however, 80% of the time the video will corrupt mid-upload or it simply won't start recording. It has meant hours and hours of work AND finding another platform to do what we are PAYING StoryXpress to do. We will upload another rating if someone from support reaches out to us with solutions, but so far we are extremely disappointed. 1 star.

Hands down most simple and useful tool. Very clean and modern UI in dashboard.

I've been using Storyxpress for that last 2 or 3 years. I use it every day to share a feedback or report a bug or visually explain things. That only missing things personally for me me are inspiration educational videos on how to use this tool or "squeeze the juice" out of it :)

Don't believe the fake reviews. Here is a REAL review. 1. Free trial is not even a free trial. Its just the "free tier". Meaning you can really have a "trial" because you have to pay. Maybe the company needs to understand what a free trial really means. 2. It was actually a really exciting app to have. To screen record and cam record at the same time. But then, I needed to edit my video and I tried to upload my final version and I couldn't. Why? because to try it out I needed to start my subscription. I paid, and it still gave me an issue to upload. I tried for half an hour and nothing. So I paid for a broken service. 3. Customer service is not in you favor. They argued with me... about what happened. Insane. Never had customer service argue with me and they also knew that there was an issue. They told me I had to sign out and sign back in to upload after paying DAYS after I contacted customer service. Then, they only gave me 10% back for using my FREE TRIAL. This company for sure made me laugh. They just want to impress their investors o f their failing platform.

Very helpful and saves me hours of time each month on work. Modern Comms needs this in the workplace for remote teams.

Easy to use, I did have a problem. I let them know, and it was fixed within 24 hours. It is an excellent platform and support to help you with a problem.

A very much accessible extension as it has three to four tasks combined like editing, screen recording and sharing across platforms be it social media or anything else. Even though it has a multipurpose, all the purposes are excellent and with no compromise in the quality which is what I would see in such extensions. I would recommend this extension to be in your browsers.

This is a great tool for video recording and editing. It has several features for video editing and customisation with ease . This is a great extension , StoryXpress is definitely better than Loom because it offers many features that are missing in Loom and also it's much cheaper than Loom.

doesnt work. keeps saying Google Chrome does not allow recording start on internal page, for everything... I just want to record webcam as advertised. Trash app.

Affordable but not reliable.

I have a paid subscription (which removes the limitations many others have mentioned, including white-labeled sharing URLs), and have been using this for over a year. Overall it has been really handy for me to create videos for my clients (I'm a marketing consultant) and it has some cool functionality. However, there are some bugs that cause problems way too often. About 20-30% of the time the recording stops (or perhaps never started) after it counted me in, or there is an error with it saving to my account. I'm okay with this happening sometimes, but it happens a little too frequently. When this happens, I have to resort to using a desktop app to redo the screen recording and then upload it somewhere to share it with my clients.... especially annoying after spending 10-20 minutes thinking it is recording. The other issue I have had is the built in editor (for trimming videos) loads on one of my computers in an unusable way. The video takes up the whole screen blocking the editor tools. Since my browsers are synced on the different computers, I don't think it is a conflict of browser extensions, but not sure what kind of computer setting would cause this. I reached out to support for this and got basically no help. So, I would say it is worth a try (it may work great for you) but don't get your hopes up too high.

I paid for this but i cant use it. It has some many glitches. Either it wont record the tab when i switch tabs or when im done recording i find out the the playback fails. Very frustrating to record a video only to find out I wasted my time because It didnt work

It doesn't work properly, and if the video you are recording is important, this is awful. I reinstalled the extension a couple of times, and it's the same. Sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes it simply disappears in the middle of the recording, and this is really horrible. I had the paid option, and I regret of my purchase.

I Loved it but how do you add a outro and intro

It's good but, you have to pay to edit your videos?? The whole point to get this was so I could edit my videos.

I've bought this in a Appsumo promotion. Doesn't work properly, there´s a lot of problems. I was recording and then, the control disappeared. It sucks and I wasted my money in a useless tool.

waste of time. on the title it says that it's "a video editor" and a "screen recorder". oh please. overall recording quality is bad and you have to pay to get the video editor. i don't believe the editor is good either, probably only cropping and making cuts is all it has. a total waste of data and time

Loved it but you should be able to give the video in .mp4 format but the .wbm format is also fine

Ok so this is an amazing app but when ever I record my games the screen just glitches like alot but the video comes out smooth, So good but bad at same time still I think four star but please fix this bug.

When i had a problem, they actually tried-instead of most website that block me when i ask for help or there's a bug on their website. i think that 10 mins is perfectly fine! i really only need 5-7 mins on there. they don't care about money, but about trying to help fix the problem. i recommend this extension!

Okay As all the other reviews they seem fine buuuuuuuuut can it record gaming?

It worked in the beginning, but it continuously crashes and doesn't save my videos.

it worked perfectly and fine the only problem is that it saves as a webm instead of mp4 so I have to use a mp4 converter and it wont let me edit so i use a video editor

it did not have the audio I would never download this extinsion ever again

It was good until they started charging for it. Removed it for one that was free.

This is a great tool for quick recordings. It is simple and easy. You can add your own company's branding to the video player and the video pages and then very easily share the videos. The best thing about them is their in-depth analytics via which I am able to get great insights on the videos I am recording. It helps me understand as where my users are getting dropped. Best part is all that comes around with a great UI/UX designs, which helps me ask my colleagues to start collaborating on my videos very very quickly. Overall great tool, asked their team for few feature requests, hoping they will come up with those soon.

Excellent experience, really helps me communicate with my team well, smooth user experience and has some of the greatest features that I had been looking for in other screen recorders. 10/10 recommended.

It does not record, when i am done and click on the extension it says record, and there is nothing in my library

I just downloaded this and I do like it, but I allowed it to use my camera and it will only show my profile picture. I would like to know how to fix this.

I loved this extension. It is great with great quality. The only thing I would fix is the size of the video you would screen record. What I mean by that is that it only records videos that or not 16:9. I wish it was 16:9 or 1080p x 1920.
