I love the idea but the charts adjust to absolutely incorrect dates when a dependency is listed as "x must be finished to finish y" along with every other dependency issue. It would also be nice if the dependencies were different colors or labeled in a more meaningful and clear way. The downloaded versions aren't super usable either as the excel chart only shows one cell instead of a full timeline and the other options are just messy to look at. I really hope this is seen and something is done or I'll need to switch to a different extension for my Gannt charts.

I can see why the ratings are not high. I installed, could not get it to work then got an email from them to "Try Again" I did.... Blah! Their interest is to sell, before they even make sure it will work. No thanks!

Worked great with Trello

As a software architect, I have never seen in my entire career a software soooo full of bug being release into production. It shouldn't even be considered a prototype.

I've tried many tools like this one but got back using Elegantt as it is powerful and intuitive. Bugs can happen but it has a nice support team to help you out. I enjoyed the overall experience.

Elegannt is amazing tool and is providing a huge amount of functionality and cohesion to our team. I'll be honest, it does has some work to go in terms of UX and usability. But it's worth paying for now and I can't wait for the future developments

Perfect extension for the Trello that we all use. I would just love that the Task dependencies feature would be included in the free version :)

Does not connect. For all of the features I would love to pay the price, but I can't even get the free version to work... at all. It continues to tell me I am not a member of the board and tells me to connect again. But the connect button won't work after the first try. Really too bad since this was going to replace my current Gantt program. I will be happy to use it and edit my review after this bug is fixed.

1 Oct : Install elegantt, learn to use it, set my board and card 2 Oct : got an email elegantt now upgraded to 2.0 version 3 Oct : open my board, elegantt not logged in, click on Login with Trello -> Authorize, then nothing happen. I know the dev work hard on this, but to release new version and mess with the existing board is not worth your time Fyi, im using my corporate account to login into Trello and Elegant. It even can't write review with redirecting error from google

Setting dates simply doesn't work - waste of time. Cmon guys you're a gantt chart company, let me create a gantt chart. Big product problem no point trying to sell or expand it if you can't sort it.

I was unable to use elegantt to it's full potential because this extension does not respond to commands.

Useless free plan. Planned start date and Planned end date not work

This looks as though it could be a really useful tool, but I couldn't get it to work. There seems to be a bug with adding the start and end dates - every time I tried to add one by clicking on it, it just didn't save, and I've been unable to find out how to get from my data to a gantt chart. Perhaps these are only actually available with the paid option? If that is the case, isn't really clear. If the start and end dates bug could be fixed, and if it could be made more obvious what you have to click on to get to your gantt chart, this could be a really useful tool for trello. However, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it does seem to work now.

This has promise but as others have said it's a resource hog. It caused my browser to bog down and lag significantly. I have 16GB of RAM and a Core i7-6600 processor. I was using this on a single board with only 6 trello cards. Opening and closing the chart options seemed to have caused significant delays to the point where it's unusable. Too bad because for a quick integration and Gantt chart, this could be a great tool.

could not set the Planned start date or Planned end date. After uninstalling the extension logo remained on the boards, it seemed like a spam.

This is a mess to use, way too over complex, I'd pay for a good Gantt charting tool, but you can't trial it without card payment. It should be a simple to create a board in Trello, but a few of us looked at this and its a mess. It would be better to have a subscription then export it to Trello, or as an image, as thats what Gantt charts are used for, for presentations and project management. The person who write this is not a project manager. The login is totally confusing, I mean do you need to log into both? My advice... look at Canva... they totally nailed simplicity.. you jsut login do your charts / brochures.. then pay in export.

The extension is great, but there is a small bug/ conflict when you click the login button from within the Trello board. The authorization window appears for several hundred milliseconds then disappears before the user gets the chance to click authorize. After disabling all my chrome extensions it worked. These were the extensions installed when the bug/ conflict occurred. I first tried disabling AdblockPlus without success, then disabled the rest of them and it worked. I'm really in two minds about this chrome app. It has powerful functionality, like adding start and end dates for your projects, and, of course, the gantt chart functionality. However, to do this it needs to insert lots of data into your cards, and it also uses lots of system resources, which I found slowed down my browser and computer. It is also very expensive to use the pro-version: it charges for every member of the team, and this adds up to hundreds of dollars a year very quickly, even with very small teams. That said, if the Elegantt Team could address the browser/system hogging issues then 90% of the issues I have with Elegantt would be solved.

Very buggy, cant even login. I'm going to continue to use ganttify.

Setting a start/end date on a card does not work. => KO To your dev team: No error log, I guess the front is really broken. I'm on chrome 59, Mac OS 10.12.1. Let me know if you fix it, your product seems to do what I need. Write me back if I can provide you any further information about my bug.

THIS EXTENSION WILL ERASE ALL YOUR CARDS CONTENTS! If you try it in some board it will pollute all the cards with its stupid links to an useless Elegantt board, but them they offer a way to "clean" the board. Cleaning for them is erasing all the descriptions of all your cards. If this wasn't too much, after "cleaning" your cards description the extension will start to add their own links again to the cards. This thing should be banned from Chrome Web Store.

Elegantt.com does not even ping! Because of this, there is no authorization on the service. Can't clear the card before removing this extension! It's not even funny...

This would be a great Chrome extension for Trello if it worked...but unfortunately it's not even usable! Crashes every single time it loads. Based on other reviews, crashes seem to be constant for most people. Please fix! You are likely losing users everyday because of these major problems.

THIEVES!! AVOID AT ANY COST! Do not trust this company. Forget all the bugs, and there are many, just do not let them have your money. I accidentally subscribed to the Pro version when prompted to enter credit card details for trial access. (I then found the rest of my team could not use the software (due to network restrictions).) I explained my error and asked for my money back - several times within the trial period and got absolutely no response. Ever. They would rather keep the cash than act ethically!

I tried to use Elegantt several times, but there is an critical bug - all the links to Trello open and immediately close. When delete the Elegantt problem gone. Please, fix this.

The sneaky advertisements everywhere really ruin this product.

I liked the idea and potential for a tool that adds a new feature found in other Kaban style boards. Then realized that to really use it I needed to pay for a 'Pro Subscription.' Sorry, I already pay for Trello, and countless other subscriptions. Not worth 60$/yr for a single feature for a platform already 45$/yr.

soooo much potential but still buggy as hell. too many bugs to use, I paid for the pro version too but I really can't use it anymore, items go missing, dates don't keep to what I set them. Fix it up guys and i'll come back.

So much potential! I love the design, the look, that it integrates directly into Trello (which is better than many of the alternatives out there), but it is incredibly buggy. It's not even usable. I also don't like that you have to pay $5/month just to be able to add dependencies, which one of the main attractions of a Gantt chart. I'm just using this to track my own projects at work and I can't justify spending $60/year for a feature that would be neat but not important. Nevertheless, I want to use this tool badly!

It was useful at first. Then things slowed down. Now I can't get rid. It's like a 21st century virus and just a hack that sits over the top of trello, rather than actually working alongside it. Not worth the hassle.

Awesome idea, needs work. Plugin was constantly getting caught in loops and crashing the page. Also feel like I spent so much time editing details on cards when the Gantt chart should have had quick shortcuts on it.

UX nightmare in my opinion. Bloats your cards and all boards with icons and text and links, and it's actually really hard to remove this stuff even after you've uninstalled the extension. I had to reinstall it so that I could use the "clean board" button, which you have to do board by board, to remove these annoying links from all my cards. Moving tasks in the gantt chart itself was rather jittery, and I'm not a decently powered machine. I was not able to zoom / scroll in the timeline. You cannot add dependencies between cards without subscribing to the pro version, and at that point you may as well just use Google Calendar.

It's great when it works, but recently I've found it freezes and errors more than works successfully. Painfully slow, the 25 card list limit is also frustrating.

Hope this gets more fixes. Seems promising. The logo covers the title on all of my lists. So I am unable to use Trello effectively with Elegantt.

Elegantt has some performance issues on my Mac, Placker.com is a better way to get Gantt chart for me.

Spent a while trying to get it to work—gave permissions added the extension etc.—but still feel locked out.

This is a great looking app, but it is just too slow to be usable, it freezes for a minute or two after every change you make, which makes it unusable. It also writes some kind of data on every card just by trying it out, which you can delete if you'd like using a tool they provide, but it is a hassle to do that as well. I really like the idea here but I wish it wasn't so slow.

Seems like they've fixed a lot of bugs. It runs pretty smoothly for me.

Great start. needs due dates to sync to trello calendars (calendar feed). Im always getting a "disconnected from server error" - more annoying than anything else. Really looking forward to dependencies.
