No longer a supported plugin. Didn't work. I hate independent software developers who act in a unresponsible way, and waste our time. They knew their extension didn't work, but rather than providing appropriate specs and communicate to their customers/audeince, they just became bored and moved on to their next project. A two second post saying, "This plugin will only work with X version of Chrome and X version of the operating, they just waste people's time testing a product they no longer support. It's just not a socially responsible choice.

Worked for me so far. Wish instead of jumping to the video, it would just highlight the result/s in the existing list. Why the hell doesn't YouTube have playlist search anyway?

As of 2022/23, no longer works. Fix it, or remove the extension.

Reading here, you'll find some claim this works and some claim it doesn't. Either way, it's not been updated in years. It was designed for a much older version of Youtube, and not having new updates makes it a security hazard. Even if it does work for some, it would be unwise to continue using this extension.

Doesn't work, "Invalid playlist" on any public playlist I test it on, regardless of video count. If there is something that needs to be done to get it working beyond adding to Edge and clicking the extension button while viewing a playlist, please document it as many users are having this issue. Will change to a positive review if this is resolved.

Works if you follow the simple instructions on the extension's home page. It needs to log in to your Youtube account to be able to access your playlists using the Youtube Data API (read-only and happens locally in your browser). It won't work on "Watch Later" or "History" playlists and that's a Youtube limitation. RTFM people!

Dont know if theres anything better Wish it didnt close after i click open in new tab (or click mouse wheel) so i can open multiple videos Also it only searches the title, you cant search the tags of all the videos, but you should be able to search the channel name at least Eg "Jeff" and all his videos come up

Looks like Google is blocking this extension now, I get this message when trying to log into YouTube through the extension. This app is blocked This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access. I'm still giving 4 stars because the app seems well-designed and provides a functionality that it's ridiculous Google doesn't already have. Google broke it for god knows what reason, they've become Microsoft.

I keep getting "invalid playlist" error. Can't use it.

It DOESN'T EVEN LOAD more than a few hundred songs !! I have a playlist of 3900 songs and videos, it doesn't even make it beyond 200-300 ! This is a complete scam ! You lied to us !!

It's really good but I really miss a feature. It would be cool to be able to search based on the name of the uploader too. Also would be useful to display the name of the uploader maybe in brackets in the end. Regex search would be really cool too but that's not that important, however searching by uploaders would be a really really useful feature.

Only works for the latest google accounts. Doesn't recognize my old youtube account playlists... I'm guessing it never will cause of old code?

Worked a few years ago for me but now (Aug. 2021) it does not work at all.

Very useful in 2021. Hopefully the developer will continue the updates as it was last updated in 2020.

I have a music playlist with 600 plus songs so it's nice to be able to get to it without scrolling forever. And even when it doesn't search right, it still loads way faster than normally.

It should say in the description that it doesn't work on the "Watch Later" playlist.

The only playlist I needed this for was "Watch Later" which is always hovering around the max of 5000 videos, but it's not compatible with that SPECIFIC one due to some privacy issue... what other playlist could I possibly need this for...

There are multiple issues with this extension and there are no clear solutions on this page to what the user can do, which would be helpful. When I first installed this extension, it wasn't so bad-- just a little annoying with how it handled opening tabs, and the search results disappearing if I clicked out of the bar. At least it got the job done for the most part. But now when I have returned to it, nothing works. At first it loaded the playlist videos on the dropdown but refused to search anything. Then when I reinstalled the extension, it would only display "Loading Results.." endlessly, no matter if there was 500 videos in the playlist or 30. So I reinstalled, closed out of browser, reloaded everything. I got the prompt to log in to Chrome, which I did, but proceeded to get "Invalid Playlist" for both public and private lists. Clearing cache and cookies, site data, etc. does not work. It's a bit disappointing because this is would be a great feature otherwise. If anything, this should already be a basic YouTube function. I wish the developer best of luck in their project and look forward to updates :)

Lacks the ability to search the watch later list, my largest list! And YouTube has removed the ability to remove videos that are tagged as for kids from your watch later list unless you're in it. But my list is so big I can't find the video in it if it was in there to remove it.

1. Cant filter or search Videos of specific category, like music, study, news. 2. Doesn't search Watch Later playlist.

It works and everything but I only really wanted an extension like this to search through my 'Watch Later' playlist and because of privacy settings that isn't possible apparently.

Dude this is AMAZING! Definitely a function that YouTube should support, brought to you as a very user-friendly and easy to use extension.

it's not working on Microsoft edge Version 84.0.522.44 (Official build) (64-bit) (latest version) it doesn't even open the search popup though the weird thing is it opens the search popup in a private window sadly it still doesn't work because the search result doesn't come up. I have tried creating a different profile as well (on edge) still the same problem please fix!

Works great! It's a quite slow because it doesn't seem like it's caching the playlist and not using YouTube Data V3 API's ETAG feature to check for updates to the playlists. Works quite well for trying to find a video in a short playlist. I have several maxed out playlists (5000 videos long) and waiting a couple minutes until they load every time is not the best, but this is the best solution that I've found so far. Thank you Mr. Cham K.!

The login prompt is completely non-functional (clicking the extension icon opens a new tab with Google's 404 page).

Much appreciated, thank you. It would be extra nice if we could recover the names of deleted videos somehow. Maybe the names are in metadata somewhere? Or when it loads a list for searching it could save the names available (in case they are removed alter). :)

A bit janky at times but it works and can be useful

Isn't working for me :( . Whenever I click the extension, it just opens a pop-up page asking me to sign in to my email. Once I sign in, it opens a new google page.

If you could make it so we can search the uploader too, I would give 5 stars.

It does its job and it's simple to use, so that's great. Very helpful since youtube doesn't have a playlist search feature :| However it has some issues, which are especially inconvenient if you want to search for multiple videos at a time: 1.) If you click outside of the search bar at all, it closes. If you "open in new tab" on a result, even though you're still on the same page, the search bar still closes. 2.) The search bar doesn't keep your search or any of the results after the search bar closes out 3.) When you are searching for something, sometimes it doesn't show all of the results. **However if you just backspace a letter and type it back (repeat multiple times), you can get the rest of the results.**

For some reason it only works with playlists that aren't mine, I can't search any of the playlists that I have made and that's the reason I even got the extension. Is there something wrong or is it just not allowed?

Doesn't seem to work any more. Asks for account information then fails to load, tried multiple times. Hope this is not some shady app that took my password.

Would love the ability to switch between accounts on command. Accidentally clicked the wrong account when accepting permissions. Now I just keep getting "invalid playlist".

Doesn't work, Creates a new page which asks for permission to view your youtube accont. But that new page is too large to click the okay/accept button. -NVM! I figured it out. Some users might still get that issue though

Takes a bit to load for old accounts like mine, but eventually gets it. Very easy to use.
