Manganum is the BEST NEW TAB CHROME EXTENSION hands-down. I have recommended it to all my friends and it just makes being productive so much easier. Manganum is so minimal yet power-packed. I love the soothing live nature wallpapers that pop-up every day. Even with the new addition of ads, Manganum remains amazing! The integration of new features and a lrager image gallery will continue to improve this extension and attract more users! Thanks for making this Uladzimir!

Manganum is really awesome and the new tab page is really beautiful! I love the integration with Google Keep, Google Translate and ChatGPT. The calendar feature is really helpful, easy way to remind me about upcoming events! I would also like to be able to use Duckduckgo with the "Search with" function. If it had Duckduckgo support and also ability to change the background every hour/minute/X hours/X minutes I would give 5 starts! ⭐ Thanks for making it :)

Like others, I was annoyed that a new tab suddenly opened to promote a product and I disabled the offending extension. I didn't realize at first that they were from the same company, so it felt like a scam. BUT, once I realised it was the same company, I gave Manganum a closer look (and re-enabled the offending extension) because I realised that I need something like this in my Chromebook life. There could have been a more elegant way to notify people of their other extensions, perhaps some sort of little notification when the extension is updated, inviting to check out their other extensions, like Checker Plus for Gmail does the notification. I don't know, but I'm happy to give this one a try at least. It does look beautiful and useful. If it becomes a tool I depend on to make my life easier, I would pay a bit for that too. I don't expect great things for free. I'm only ten minutes in, we'll see. ;-)

The application works but I saw a few missing 1- Theme videos and pictures cannot be advanced as theme. Negative or disliked sign can be passed with. 2 - History and time can be separate and can be dragged. 3 - The search service bar can be added. Thanks for now.

Like SPAM, it is unwelcome, invasive and does not live up to or even begin to fulfill its promise. Worse than SPAM, more invasive and disruptive than tiktok advertising. This app/extension is an abomination and should b banned from Chome

If you're all-in with GSuite like I am, then you've probably thought of several ways the integration of desktop apps could be improved. I was thinking this when I stumbled across the Manganum extension. It literally checked every single box, I love it. Not a criticism so much as a wish: The extension works beautifully between devices (desktop and mobile) within a single Google account. The Insane Version of this extension would allow you to integrate everything between 2 or more Google accounts. This would be dope for people who use multiple accounts for personal stuff, work, social media, etc.

Not a bad start. Had a few suggestions for you: 1) Allow users to drag 'Recently Visited' websites down into the Favorites section. 2) If possible, can you find a way to import Google Start page settings (specifically the websites I had setup) into the Favorites? Would be a helpful way to transition in new uers.

Okay, wow. This is a beautiful extension and provides quick, easy access to all the productivity tools I use.

The app is truly beautiful, but it is just a shortcut aggregator. I have to admit that it's really visually pleasant, but it doesn't add any further functionality and I already have the same shortcuts in my "new tab screen" in Chrome, so for my particular case I didn't find it very useful.

This is so useful because i have so many things that I can do from the launchpad and I don't have to search like google translate

I dont know it was fine then suddenly whenever i open new tab it took like 1 minute to start. thats why removing it Edit: Found the issue it was my bookmark I had bookmarked a base64 image text this caused the extension to load 145k character that is why this having delay in opening. I LOVED this extension for the few weeks it worked. For some reason today when I have hit new tab, the new tab screen that comes with this extension has flashed, but then it switches to the normal google chrome new tab screen. Along with this, I cannot get the task bar to show up anymore. If anyone has any way to fix this I would love to hear it. I have tried restarting my laptop as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the extension and nothing seems to do the trick.

This a really great extension if you use google calender and also want to save more tabs that you browse frequently! Google chrome limits you to 8 saved website ( of course you can use bookmarks but thats a pain to get to!) This extension makes it easy to save any website your frequent often...it even auto detects the website you on and doesnt require you to copy the URL! Awesome! Just Alt + 1 on whatever tab and click in the favorites to add a website! Google Calender Integration is also really awesome, you can very easily see what youve set up for the day! I love the day at a glance and it works perfectly however have you guys thought about integrating the week a month tab in GC that would extend horizontally a bit across the screen to show the months? that would be next level! I usually use those two extensions, but if there was a way to integrate this with any other google services that would be amazing... Perhaps google keep? Anways just get it its an amazing extension!

Don't have to jump into my calendar tab to start meetings or review my schedule - super helpful and keeps me efficient. It has other features I haven't had a chance to explore yet.

The concept has a lot of potential, but I deleted it becase the Google Tasks integration is very bad. Tasks I add with the extention are not really updated in Google Tasks, also there is no option to set a reminder time when adding a new task in the extension.

if you can let the user to choose add or remove some tabs would be better! I personally would prefer having no lunchpad and having task moved to the top. That will add flexibility. Good work! Have done something very useful! Faster than Google if they ever wanted to make similar functions.

I've been using it only few days, and already in love! I hope they are staying free app. I used a lot of start page apps for years but this one is the best! I better install on my other laptops before I forget.

Just installed today and am really liking it so far but, I also like FVD Speed Dial is there a way to add Manganum to it? If not maybe you can add to where we can add it to your product instead of your favorites.

It's pretty, but ultimately not that useful. There are extensions that don't require a new tab to get calendar, tasks, and Drive. Functions are crammed into the right corner while a large space is not used. Its more form than function. Not sure where the productivity is that all the reviews are talking about.

I have just started using Manganum and I am loving it, it is really well thought through. I am just not sure how the notes are connected to my google account.

Completely redesigns chrome in the perfect way, the wall papers are beautiful, for productivity everything is exactly where you want it and I just love it. They should turn this into a standalone browser

Surprisingly adept at being useful and simultaneously inconspicuous! I forget it's there until I have a use for it. This seems to be an increasingly impossible reality for software developers, designers, and marketers.

Excellent and well designed. Suggestion: - Add a pomodoro clock. Bug: - When we open (www.google.com), usually the textbox is in focus, and you can start typing your search immediately. This extension removes the focus from the textbox, so we need to click in the textbox before typing your search. This is a huge dealbreaker because it happens to any page that has an auto-focus. For instance, I use this page (https://www.macmillandictionary.com/) to quickly search word definitions. I usually search one word after another without touching the mouse, but now the extension removes the focus from the textbox, so I waste time clicking in the textbox.

Great extension to maximize productivity. One thing that would be a nice thing to add would be saving notes into google keep. Other than that, great extension.

No doubt that this is the best chrome useful extension. if you could add Google drive there it will be good. It will be too good that if you can allow us to add google service like mine(Like Favorites). I read most of the comments and you said you'll update the extension end of the November. Fantastic, productive tool. I use it all day, when I share my screen on meetings people see my chrome layout and always ask about it. I love how simple it is yet so powerful.

I like the app a lot. But, I would suggest to add a option to view discord messages directly from sidebar?

The extension itself is really really good, but I want to attach the sidebar to the right side of my chrome, I can drag it if it's detached, but as soon as I re-attach it, it returns back to the left side of the screen. Is there a fix for this?

this is a really great extension. the only thing is I really dislike the little grey bar. feels like I'm being forced into an experience that I don't want, and it's quite irksome for my job as a web designer. would change to 5 stars without that

Example - I signed up for this extension with address (A)@google.com. Not able to get Tasks button to work correctly..To work your sign up address must be in the google automatic sign in list. Simply trying to type it into the sign up for sync settings (even though you originally used it to give extension permissions) leads you to an error screen. The app will not let you use

Highly recommend. Its a beautiful home screen/new tab screen, that keeps me focused and gives quick access to my most used apps and webpages. I can see my calendar, my notes, to do list etc, and all the while having quick access to calming, uplifting affirmations, quotes, and gorgeous background photos. Useful, beautiful, calming. Love it.

i would rate higher, but I have limited my use of it. The keystroke logging makes me very nervous.

I love this app in terms of productivity. It keeps my mind calm when I saw still or moving images. Makes me wonder, why didn't chrome created something like this in the first place.

I was so excited to find this extension! I love how I can use it with various calendars and not just one Google Account. I have a personal calendar, a school calendar and an online business calendar...separately and organized...hooked up to my various emails! ORGANIZATION TO THE EXTREME!! Love this extension and got my family to install it as wele!

Wow this is great! I've always wanted to have an extension that took care of all my daily needs. Maganum removes the need for a bunch of other tabs and extensions. I found Maganum through an ad on a tetris game hahaha. I especially love the animated backgrounds in new tabs, they look amazing!

I think it's a very useful extension, but I'll prefer to be able to use it without changing the traditional chrome UI for new tabs. Providing users with the choice to use it as either an adjustable sidebar with the productivity tools or the full extension that changes the UI for new tabs, will be great. However, it's very useful, but I'll disable at the moment.

if you can, add the ability to move the button in the sidebar up or down or hie the button ( you can enable it back in setting ) and add some setting into the setting like : no-sidebar when hover mouse to the side ; move sidebar to the right ; hide sidebar ;... I'm currently changing from chrome to opera GX so i can't use this extension ( i wish it work on opera GX ;-; ) Also if it possible, add the ability to add website to the sidebar ( if you really add i think i might change back to chrome ._. )

Best Sidebar App

I like this extension; I switched from a similar one because of the feature of translator that is always at hand. But over a week of using I noticed a couple of things that could be improved. The translator doesn't remember language settings. English is not my first language and I usually need to translate a word from English. On this occasion, I have to switch languages every time I open the translator in your extension in a new tab. Moreover, the pronunciation in your translator is different from google translator (I found this fact weird), and sometimes it pronounces incorrectly. And it would be great if translator could save recent history. If it could, I would give you examples of words it pronounced incorrectly, because now I cannot recall them. However, I think your extension is great. I like its flexibility (especially of visual part), and adding videos was genius! It's convenient to have all important staff whatever tab is opened. I hope, in future, you will be able to fix the problems I pointed. This will make your app not just great but perfect. Thank you for your work!

I've been searching for "something" to improve my workflow and productivity while on Chrome. I didn't even know what I needed to help. Manganum is the best! UI is easy, onboarding is easy, settings are easy. Great job to the team.

Honestly, i've been eager for some time to find an app like this and had even thought of learning programming just to make sth like this, everything's perfect about just that, you can't add repeating task at a certain time based on 1 time a month a week or every 1-2 days that you can here: https://tasks.google.com/embed/?origin=https://calendar.google.com&fullWidth=1 so if you could kindly make that possible as well, would really really appreciate it, thanks again for what you've done and hope this project won't be abandoned and in case you need donations, please do tell.

Aesthetically it's very pleasing. The Alt + Digits shortcuts has already got me hooked. Best wishes for the developer team. For supporting the developer, I would suggest have the option of one time payment. Currently, it's only monthly perpetual payment.

It's great when it works. I just updated my version of google chrome but whenever I open a tab I get a blank image icon even though I have all categories, videos and images selected. Sometimes when I dismiss the current image it will show an images but it doesn't always remain and goes back to the blank image icon. I really do love it when it works but all of the fussing around with it is effecting my productively negatively.

I really want to try this extension out in full but when I try to sign in with Google it just gives me a loading icon and never prompts me to sign in. Cool plugin but not worth keeping if I can't use it.

I just happened to see an article about the Manganum extension while scrolling through my Google feed on my phone and so happy i did. I am new to Chrome os and just started using Chrome browser again. This extension really brings life to the Chrome home page. Looking forward to see what comes next and definetly looking forward to the SMS feature.

Absolutely stunning home page replacement. Great potential utility as well. Would be 5 star rating, unfortunately the calendar sync only works on Chrome. When I try on any Chromium based browser the Google pop-up does not work. I am unsure if it is blocked from popping-up or something else as the screen flashes for a nano-second with "signing in" but never competes the pop-up. I have tried with Chrome, Brave, Edge, Wavebox, and Vivaldi and only Chrome works. I don't use Chrome, so I can't enjoy the full potential of Manganum. :-( I also can't figure out how to enable sync at the bottom of the page. That also only works in Chrome. :-(

This is a really great looking extension with useful features. However, I can't find a way to disable the sidebar to open on other webpages. This causes a small white pop-out to stick to every page, which is especially noticeable when watching videos or on dark mode apps, and it also causes the sidebar to open up when I don't need to if I move my mouse to the left side of the screen. There needs to be an option to disable having the sidebar on other pages besides the new tab page.
