Been using it for years. Shows High/Low Temp for the day, hourly, dew point, radar, warnings, and more. Not too cluttered, and has dark icon.

It's a good extension. Does what it says it will, for the most part. Only reason for taking off 1 star is that sometimes it only displays clouds & partial sun, like now, and you have to manually refresh to get the temperature to appear. {Today it's not refreshing at all; not sure why. Tried numerous times to update, to no avail}.

multiple weather sources in one app is key to me. radar feed is also a plus

I really like the ability to see the temperature at a glance without having to leave my current working tab. The UI is nice because, by hovering over the icon, I can view the week's weather, see if any precipitation when occur in the next few hours, plus see wind and cloud coverage amounts. The only downside is that it doesn't update quite as often as I like (15 min vs 30 min), but I think that's solved by getting the pro version.

Classroom Perfection! As a teacher with an inside classroom (no access to windows) it's important to know about the weather. It helps me plan outdoor activities, as well as prepare for any potential bad weather,

I don't usually leave reviews but this extension is nice. Weather is accurate as it uses Visual Crossing API by default and I've heard nothing bad about that. All in all a good extension for quick weather checks. Way better than the default "widget" that comes with Windows 11 since that shows a whole lot of other stuff I don't need or want like the news. So this is a good alternative for quick weather checks if you use the browser a whole bunch. It displays a whole lot of extra info if you hover over certain things that I know some will find use out of but personally I don't so I like that its a hover thing so I dont get bombarded with info I don't need. the UI is looks really nice and is responsive on my low end laptop I got for a hundred bucks at staples. Not all things that look nice run all that well but this does so that is definitely a perk. On install you are prompted to share the extension on facebook/twitter and follow the creator to get the PRO version for free and within minutes of doing so and sending proof I got the pro version and a code for reactivation in the future should I need to so it is really cool they followed through. 4/5 stars not because I've found faults or had a bad experience but maybe haven't used it enough/often enough to find them. I don't regret recommending it on my twitter lets just say that.

I had this particular extension installed on a different browser and even though at that point in time I didn't feel the need to pay for the 'pro' version, I'm thinking now that I probably should have to get the full benefits of all of the settings within the app. I surely love the convivence of having the pertinent weather information so readily available in a convenient location.

This, by far, is the most dazzling Weather Extension for Chrome found anywhere. Not only easy to use, by small, unobtrusive and packed full of good stuff. It's great for me as a Flight Nurse. Even though our State Police pilots have official weather briefings, it's always a secondary source for us in the back of the medical helicopter

Loads quickly and gives me the information I need without fluff, and without long loading times for ads and irrelevant videos, unlike some other apps/extensions. Would definitely recommend.

Been using this extension for a while now and it works very well. I highly recommend it as a browser extension. I especially like the mouse-over feature to get quick weather updates. Has been a few more years of using this and this extension is still the best.

Seems to be very well done and has lots of features. I was a little miffed that I could not change the font color from black to white unless I upgraded to pro.

I've been using this app since 2016. Loved it then - Love it now. Has everything I want and more. Looked around at others from time to time but something always seems to be missing from simple features to the overall look and feel. All the info you could want without getting the cluttered information overload feeling.

Ive used several weather extensions and apps throughout my time. Ive enjoyed the simplicity and consistency that the weather extenstion provides. Ive not experienced any 'time outs' or extreme lagging to get the info I need when I need it.

There is SO MUCH weather included with this extension - it's like a full weather app on my phone. And you can access this just as quickly. I missed having weather and temp on my computer. This is so good - just as good as the phone apps are.

The Weather extension, I'm truly in awe by how robust it is and the visually appealing look. Anything I could ever ask for or want in my local weather forecast is here. The current temperature sits neatly and seamlessly on my address bar. It's perfect. Stop any further searching for a Wx extension; the one you want is this one.

Chromebook / they did update, and everything DISAPPEARED - what good is this ?

Great Weather App. It sits neatly in the top right corner of my screen. I can take a quick glimpse at the icon showing me current weather conditions. I if want to break this down further, I just click on the icon for the app. You can then go through to DarkSky weather for even more details. All in all, this is a fantastic app! 4 years on and this is still an excellent extension. I find it really useful.

I have installed this on the new Microsoft Edge, and I love it. I love its detailed forecast and that the temperature is always easily and readily visible and accessible.

Great having it by my fingertips does everything I need again great extension.

a nice easy to use weather app you can access with out going to some web sight. it has radar, the current weather, shows alerts and the like. very nice and compact so far, havent had it long but it seems to be a very nice little app for chrome

Amazing extension, windows may bring news and weather reports at the right of your taskbar, but it sadly no longer updates, this is a faster, easier way to watch weather.

I've looked through some of these 1 star reviews, and I don't get it. Just by having the app pinned to Chrome I can see the temperature outside. Opening the app and I can see hourly and weekly forecasts as well as the current weather. I can click on the radar and it will bring up the radar for my location. 10/10, will use again.

I love how this app refreshes constantly and is super accurate. It helps with planning my day. Keep up the great work.

This is my favorite Chrome weather extension. I wish that hourly info was available for the next couple of days inside the extension without having to open a new tab, but even so, this is a really good extension.

Have this installed on my Google Chrome and check it every single day. Is invaluable not only for determining if I need to water my garden or not during the summer, but also in following severe weather conditions especially here in part of Dixie Alley during the spring nader season. Great tool to have. Definitely recommend it.

Hard to find a basic simple weather widget. Just what I was looking for!

The extension is conventient, but I would want more variety in weather sources. Darksky is locked behind pro and AFAIK that support ends this year or next, so other services would be useful.

This is the one. We have loved it for obvious reasons over the years. Tim Leland has always been right there to help transition us to newer computers and browsers every time. Another seldom recognized bonus is the collection of pithy quotations he has parsed out for us. Anyone reading this would benefit from installing it and giving it a try.

Excellent weather app which tells me all I need to know in order to plan my day's (and week's) activities. Quite accurate and not over-burdened with unnecessary extras like so many other weather apps. No learning curve required, just cruise through the options and set it how you prefer. My goto button on my browser toolbar for instant weather.

One of the accurate weather extension in Chrome . Hats off to the developer . Everything works fine ; but if current weather with background UI ( rainy , thunder , hot etc. shown in the bar ) then it will be much more better . I hope developer will include this in next version ..
