One of the best if not THE best debugging tool for especially Google Analytics in combination with the Google Tag Manager. The fact that it gets dataLayer pushes and sent hits to aswell UA and GA4 together makes it a very good possibility to check what happens on a website.

This is a great plugin, BUT for some reason it only shows the tab ~30% of the time I need it. Frustrating bug that's been left unfixed quite a while now.

Excellent plugin, but this last version 2.0.2 seems to have a bug which reloads the page after the user clicks on "Start Debugging". I use Chrome and MacOS, tried to reinstall but nothing change. It's awkward because when I update to this version is worked fine for a day or two. Edit: I just tried on incognito mode and it worked, maybe some other extension is blocking this one.

I love this extension but after GA4 update in the past few days this seem to break our page when enable this extension. dataLayer object seen to be omitted. In the console throw this error when we tried to push data. TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'push') Things back to normal when i disable this extension. Hope you can fix it soon. Error seem to be occurred in both Mac and Window with latest chrome version. Thank you

excellent and good tool to help review GTM implementations on sites, but these last few days when i click on the "start debugging" button it doesn't seem to work.. very sad it doesn't seem to be a common error. Thanks

The extension gives you lots of info of how its been updated, yet fails to direct me towards how to actually use the extension. how does it work? How do you use it?

I've used numerous debuggers in my time in Digital. This is by far the best, and most consistent. Excellent tool.

It's a great addon. I use it a lot to debug and monitor analytics events. Very pleasant UI and very helpful info presented.

Been using this for few years and now just had a time to praise this little tool that saved lots of my time from debugging and making sure everything works. If you don't have direct access to the analytics dashboard, folks this is for you.

Amazing tool. Very clear and neat. I misse a few features like downloading GA4 hit details but I'm sure it's on the roadmap !

It was a very helpful tool, but recently I started experiencing some issues. The extension in Chrome looks inactive. Restarting Chrome, reinstalling the extension didn't work for me. Not sure what is going on, because I do not see anybody having same issue as myself.

The plugin I use everyday as someone working daily with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Every agency should use this extension.

It's a great extension, but the Nov update actually breaks GTM preview mode - doesn't track beyond the first page in the Tag Assistant. Please fix!

The new version is amazing. Fantastic work! It would be awesome if the extension would be able to preserve the configuration through navigation (tab selection and hit filters applied). E.g. You may want to debug only GA data so if you are in the GA tab and click on a web link, the new hit would be opened automatically in the GA tab and not in the GTM/GTAG tab (which is the default tab after each hit). The same with the filters at hit level. This would save a ton of time. Other than that, it's an awesome tool! Fantastic work!

Muchas gracias David for this tool! I've been using it from day one and now I use it every day! Sometimes the GA4 tab just keep on spinning but I guess this is more to do with the GA4 requests not being sent yet (sent in batch). Very well done :-)

Excellent plugin! Much better than GA Debugger which I used to use. Now this is my go to plugin for auditing GTM.

Deserves 5 Stars as it works like a charm :D I just went through all ratings and saw the 1 star rating. So I post a rating here to make up for the 1 star rating this plugin got undeservingly.

Only works when it wants to. Will randomly open when the tag manager assistant is open but so far it's only done it once. Will not open on it's own. Trying to open using the tang manager assistant manually does nothing, then when clicking on the debug icon it just takes me back to this page.

I'm sure it would be very good if it worked, but it stays on the hello page, with a 404 error for the driver.min.js.map file, tried on my desktop and laptop and the same for both.

Easy to use, and great for testing and debugging!

Good tool for debugging GA calls but it crashes any Microsoft online SharePoint site. With the extension enabled online SharePoint will throw JavaScript errors and result in a blank page, disabling the extension allows them to load properly.

There are a number of similar tools out there, but this is by far the most thought-through and comprehensive. Its in my toolbox and used regular. A huge time saver.
