Free online share feature worth to be appriciated.

How to get the recorded video if not stored on the local storage and also not in the chrome downloads, very much needed video.

This extension is good all necessary options are there but one thing is missing foe example if yesterday i shared one of image and want to see or send again then how i will because there is no any storage areas or connectivity with google drive dropbox or cloud etc. if the developer can include these option then i think this application will be better then other s :)

It actually works! Takes a picture of the full webpage with one click. No distortions. Simple and straight-forward.

It's pretty good, but it has a handful of flaws that make it frustrating to use. I have two simple suggestions that would make it great: 1) Give us a scrollbar. If I've captured a whole long page, & go all the way to the bottom to make sure it caught what we want, but then we want to go back up... Well, prepare to sit there abusing the mouse's scroll wheel for half a minute or more. That's annoying. OH! And if you're on a laptop touchpad, navigating a long capture might actually be IMPOSSIBLE!!! So yeah, we NEED to be able to drag a scrollbar to the top again, or click somewhere on the scrollbar to jump to that part of the page instantly. 2) Allow the Selection tool to scroll the page up/down when dragged against the top or bottom edge. If I've captured a whole page, & just want the middle column (like on Twitter, for example, which has tons of blank space on either side of the thread), too bad, I can only select what's right there on the screen. That makes the Selection tool WAY too tedious to use. I'd have to select some, place it on the left, scroll down, select some more, place it on the left & try to line it up properly, scroll down more, select more, etc. How can you guys think that's a good idea? :( Let us be able to pick Selection, hold-click, & drag quickly all the way down to the bottom, so we can grab the column & save that selection. Instead of having to save the entire page with wasted space, & editing it in some other program. If you're going to supply editing tools, then they should do their desired function to the fullest. Not only partially & pitifully. Just those two improvements would take this extension from mediocre & half-baked, to smooth & awesome! I hope you guys can consider adding those abilities. Then I'll be more likely to use it without a feeling of "Ugh, do I HAVE to use this? If I want the full page, then yeah, but... UGH..." :P (And of course, I'll re-rate 5 stars if it's well-implemented.) (Oh, and a tip to users: It doesn't follow infinite-scrolling any further than you've loaded the page yourself, so be sure to scroll down on the website first, to where you're content to stop the screen capture, THEN use Scrn.li to grab "whole page". This might seem annoying, but you never know just how many miles long an infinite-scrolling page could be, & you wouldn't want to overload your system by getting stuck trying to capture 8 years of a tumblr user's entire blog. So the way the Scrn.li devs did this is understandable & logical.)

selected area screenshot doesn't work

This extension will EAT your CPU. Recording and when converting websites will bring your CPU up to 100%. Don't recommend at all.

I Made a recording for about 2hrs. But accidentally closed the tab. How to access the previous recordings?

My job is to find errors on websites. This app is absolutely perfect for pointing out exactly where I need the changes to be made. However I just ran into a few bugs that I hope will be remedied soon: 1) I tried to adjust the font size and it was glitching out; jumping from 20-21-22 and back without me pressing any keys 2) I clicked an area I wanted to add text and it allowed me but wouldn't scroll back up to the top of the page to give me any options to adjust the size (since I was doing it manually and by increasing the font size). I ended up having to screenshot with another program to send the notes to my coworker. Overall I think it may just need to be updated and checked for bugs.

It is not recording sound for Bluetooth connected headsets

It worked for me, the only challenge is after downloading the video I cannot fastforward it as you have to allow it play from beginning to the end, if the video is 5hrs you have to watch it to the end

It saves images in JPG! This extension saves images in JPG, not PNG, so you see blurry fonts and texts. Ridiculous. Also there is no configuration options at all.

I don't really record videos, but when I take a photo, it comes out perfect! I would so recommend this if you want take photos on a laptop!

Good work. I like it but i have small suggestion Suggestion: Is it possible to save the snaps in separate pages in pdf when trying to capture the entire page??? Saving entire page in 1 image will be difficult to view and zooming every time??

I don't find where my video is saved . So irritating and frustrating my whole hardwork gone away because of this bloody software.

This extension doesn't work. Agree with the comments below about it only working for screen capture below 2 mins.

Tried recording a longer video. Stuck in the loading menu.

Do not install it if you have an important record. It is not a trustable recorder. I had the important record for 15 minutes, I trust this app and I did not take any notes then when I stop the recorder and it starts to convert the video to be prepared for download, it did not work. I wait for 6 hours to convert but just a white page and a message" waiting for more ...". I had to close the page and no backup or sth on the server to try again.

I hated it.

For taking screenshots, where you select, copy, and paste, this extension works easily and flawlessly. I can select with my mouse (no clunky dragging box edges), copy and paste without having to save a file. The first time I came here to leave this review, I noticed other reviews about malware and was alarmed. I uninstalled and left feedback about my concerns. Then I tried several other extensions and was sorely disappointed. Nothing compares with the ease of Scrnli. I did more research and it seems I was too quick to judge Scrnli. I reinstalled, and my computer's malware protection scanned it at installation and continues to monitor. I've seen absolutely no evidence of malware at any point. If anything funky shows up, I'll be back to update.

Question: Can we use image from clipboard instead of image from file explorer? Just like how awesome screenshot has it.

nice but don't use this for recording the screen because it can be used for screenshot but in recording screen just a couple of minutes is enough

Very good! It's useful for online classes and work.

This extension is great! Except 1 feature I think is annoying. Everytime I enter a site which I set a POV view on the site, it doesn't really capture that one part. I think it's just capturing the wrong part and just glitches. If you get this fixed, I definitely would come back here and change the rating I gave to a five ⭐. Good extension overall doe :)

I know it's for sharing work and other things like that but it also works fine for making web-browser based youtube videos. So I would say five stars all around!

There is always room for improvement. However, Malwarebytes Premium v4.4.0 has detected that 10 PUP (Potential Unwanted Program) associated files/registries are associated to this extension and quarantined them. This has removed the extension from Google Chrome.

It was a quite good extension. but it has no rectangle shape or other shape like circle editing option. other extensions have this feature.. please make this feature as soon as possible

Works for videos that are a couple mins long at max. Didnt work for 15-20 mins video. Stuck at loading page. Other people have reported this issue too

Does not record audio from my mic. I have the Elgato Wave 3. I also see no option to select it. Kinda too simple of a tool I guess.

It doesn't work for videos over 2 mins i have a recording for just over 5 minutes and that doesn't work. Seems to be a common problem after reading the comments i thought a 5 min vid will be okay but i guess not. Any other reccomendations?

WARNING!!! ITS A VIRUS!!! everytime i searched in google it kept on bringing me to yahoo...it also installed fake virus protection onto my computer without asking for permission. after i uninstalled this program, everything was back to normal. PLEASE REPORT AND AVOID!!!!

GREAT EXTENSION. LOVED IT.

Almost failed my final because if this. I just needed to record a simple 6 minutes video. I did a test on it to make sure that it worked correctly before hand and i had no problems with it. recorded my screen in 1080p. When i got done recording my video after 20 minutes of waiting for the video to render it, it finally loaded but then when i went to download the video it gave me an error then i ended up loosing the video.

Only works for short videos that are less than 10 minutes. I recorded an hour long video; it becomes stuck at the loading screen in the end. I lost my entire recording!!!!! DO NOT USE this extension for LONG video. They should have mentioned that in the description or set a time limit on recording!

It's just ok for me, I can screen capture/record, but my problem is it has no description about how long can you screen record. It's my first time to use this for recording that's why I don't really know how long can I record. I recorded for 2hrs but it can't show me the file because it just keeps loading. I don't know if I can still save my recorded file. Can someone tell me what is the maximum duration for recording?
