Missing 1. Document loading progress bar 2. Text Tool 3. Draw Tool The above are in epub.js
All good but one. Need to add the feature of showing "Recently Opened PDFs", so we could easily reopen them. It's a standard feature in all doc apps. It ought to be already available without us asking for it.
I get really annoyed by the touch UI layout of chrome pdf viewer. Found this best extension that is updated regularly which doesn't occupy more vertical screen space.
Works as advertised. The options to display embedded PDFs is very useful. It'd be great if the URL bar contained just the file rather than chrome extension prefix, but I realize this may be hard to implement.
so much better than the default chrome pdf viewer. clean, simple, smooth!
Smooth as butter! I've tried dozens of extensions and apps for my chromebook and this one is by far the best. Feature request: the ability to edit the PDF; the ability to sign the PDF; the ability to whiteout text. Other than that, amazing!!!
very useful. Flavour of firefox feature
Pros: - Remembers your page. Pages can be bookmarked on your browser - In Chrome's default PDF viewer, I double click is required to gain focus and use the arrow keys. That does not happen here. This was actually why I shifted in the first place. - Open source. - Probably more that I've overlooked because I've used it for a long time. Cons: - "Preparing to print" bug. Posted as an issue on GitHub. - Shorcuts are available but there is no list. - Issues with copying text. Sometimes, new lines and spaces are not preserved. Feature Request: - "Collapse all" option for bookmarks in the PDF. - Find bar is too small.
Does not work. Open file icon does nothing. If I select a pdf file and open with the extension, I get a blank.
Have some PDF's that require or force you to use Adobe Reader. Sure I could use Adobe on my chromebook, but is not going to happen. Only way around this on my Chromebook is to download the PDF on a Windows computer, open with Adobe or another PDF program, then send it to myself. Not anymore ..... This program just works. Thank you.....
Ok at all, but when page size is less than 100%, fonts became unreadable.
I used it like it but the UI changes with new update is pretty bad to the point that I can no longer continue to use it
Awesome, thank you!
not user friendly.
Good, but it doesn't preserve new lines when you copy from a pdf, which is kind of crucial for my use case.
Best option for chrome
Pretty nice. It has two-pages view mode which I've been wanting to have. Also it is fast.
Usefull as it described
This PDF viewer is pretty amazing. The ONLY thing missing is keyboard shortcuts to access tools like Rotate, Text Selection Tool, Hand Tool, etc. The one thing I would love to see is middle mouse button (pressing down the wheel button) to activate the Hand Tool.
