Loved it - today an update cam and all my data is lost and demo content is displayed. Is there a way to get back my dashboard as it was?

Best ever extension i have ever got for staying productive ....love it

6 years user here... TERRIBLE EXTENSION! Full of bugs on almost every single widget. RSS feeds never work correctly. Reddit widget is full of bugs. Same for twitter. Stock widget is even worse. Nothing works correctly. Annoying ads and sponsored google search. WORST OF ALL: Developers don't care, they never fix anything even when you report the bugs to support. GARBAGE.

Wow, great extension. Exactly what I need.

So far so excellent.... kind of laggy, but very customizable. 7/10.... SO FAR.

It's extremely ugly for today's design standards. And you have to pay just to change to a dark transparent theme. Yuck. Also, BBC and MSN news? No thanks.

Extension requires with subscription of $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. pretty sure there is a million other tools that can do exactly what this can, dont let the TERRIBLE/SUSPICIOUS search functionality for the Chrome Web Store get in your way when it only shows promoted and subscription hungry extensions like this get in your way. search on google: "site:chrome.google.com new tab page" (without quotes) and I guarantee that you'll find at least 20 extensions better than this that are free with developers who actually should be making extensions.

Not very impressed. I can't resize the widgets, and they don't seem to do what I want. Eg I can get an Android widget on my phone, which forecasts by the hour, is resizeable and it's free! On this site, which is ad supported, the one I want isn't. Etc.

dark mode should not be a pro feature

Buggy, Ads, even basic features behind a "pro" version. Honestly there a hundred better alternatives out there. Steer clear.

(2015) Had everything I wanted to make my tab useful. Been using it for over a year now :) (2021) Update: Been using this extensions for many years now, but this extension has gone downhill since. The last update was from March 2021, and it is clear that this extension is now abandoned. This is a shame because I really loved this extension, but now it is unusable with the lack of management.

Would be perfect if it didn't andomly reset to settings from a random amount of time ago. Had to re-do my set up multiple times and now I've given up

Epic (dear people who don't know how o do stuff, did you even LOOK at the tutorial???) pro HIGHLY customizable Can change your search engine many different apps very sleek in design easy to use you can have everything in only one tab cons Moving stuff is quite hard and is sometimes a pain There is a ad(only one tho) starting might be a bit confusing (DONT SKIP THE TUTORIAL)

This is a very customizable, really useful new tab page. The main thing it suffers from is the inability to upload custom images for site links. When creating a site link, you MUST specify a URL for the logo, and file:/// references don't work.

Is this a fake one? I found two of the same extension.

In addition to collecting all your stats, it literally puts ads on your new tab page. Complete garbage philosophy behind the great idea.

Representative example of the design quality for the extension as a whole: In order to move a widget around, you have to hover over a precise *4x4 pixel target* in an ellipses-menu-that-isn't-actually-a-menu. Gotta admire the audacity of asking people to either view ads or pay $5 a month for this

*IT'S ALL LOCKED BEHIND A PAY WALL, DO NOT INSTALL, CONTAINS VIRUS TOO* Many issues. My Malwarebytes kept detecting Adware from this extension, which it blocked every single one. Why is there adware in this extension? The customization feels very lackluster (No way to change colour because I had to pay) The weather app didn't seem to recognize 'United Kingdom' which is... dumb to say the least. The background doesn't even change which just seems lazy to me?

I use this extension many times per day every day. I have been able with the Pro version to optimize customizing pages that help me keep various aspects of my life organized with information a click away. I ran into a problem after an update where my customized pages disappeared but their customer service tech people were able to get them back and for that I thank them. It took a couple of weeks but they came through as they had promised they would.

The Features are very good but the UI is pulling down your extension.

It's one of the most useful chrome extensions around, and is like a desktop- but customizable.

so far I like. I wish there were a widget to quick link my google photos. still nice.

I like it, I can edit it however I want and the backgrounds are nice.

The ads are unbearable. I don't appreciate their tracking either. Uninstalled within a minute.

This extension solves many problems for me by putting a bunch of small app portals on one page.

First loos - good. Need to check if I can add widgets like Evernote- blank note, TickTick Task list ar any app not in the widget list. Also hopefully no memory issues. Very impressive, just what I was looking for.

Most anti-virus/anti-malware has your domain listed as a Malware pushing domain. malwarebytes in particular will fight you all day long over this. IDK why this is but once you can convince a free connection to occur most of the weirdness described here goes away (Like forecasts being reset, feeds not working, reset etc) So. Great looking product. But for the love of your favourite deity, please resolve whatever it is that causes AV/AMAL to aggressively block you. KThnxbai.

Back to the days of iGoogle, love it

LOVE IT!!! They fixed the RSS scrolling glitch and now it's awesome. I just am in LOVE with the fullscreen RSS viewer. Looks like a real news magazine with it. I have to read a bunch of sources to stay current as part of my job, so having that feature is AMAZING. Plus the rest of the app is VERY functional and you can basically do whatever you want, even down to customizing your search engine. VISUALLY APPEALING background too. Just an fyi to other users: a new RSS tab always resets the moment refresh the tab. You have to open a new tab for the RSS module to save.

I msged them about the Weather widget lacking proper weather icons and they fixed it within a week. Also, if you could improve the RSS widget, we should have an option to list all RSS feeds inline, instead of taking up the extra widget width required to switch between feeds. That improvement is easily worth another star.

Nothing to write home about. While I appreciate being able to have stuff I use on one page the widgets do not all do what they say that they do. I have used about half of the widgets and have deleted about half or more of these. The site link widgets are probably the most useful of all. Update here. Now that the "Pro" version has terminated all I get is a flash on the screen from the actual page to white page. I cannot stop it. Obviously they want us to pay for the "pro" version to actually keep the extension in check. Too bad. It was sorta OK with the paid version but when reverting back to the unpaid version it wigs out. Oh well. Does anyone out there use a home page that is reputable and solid? Just curious.....

Fantastic! I love everything about it. Love being able to see all of my things in one view. The backgrounds, the widgets, everything.

I have been looking for a personal dashboard that works with Gmail for FOREVER. iChrome fits the bill and does so much more. Love, love, LOVE iChrome!

Constantly corrupted

Easy to use. Super customizable and organized!

I've tried a bunch of new tab replacement apps, but this is by far the best. Lots of options and customization, and very easy to use.

Highly customize-able. Love that it has three different formats for showing my Google calendar. The sports events calendar! ...USA sports as well as most of the popular soccer leagues, with LIVE SCORES updating all the time. Great stuff, cannot rate it highly enough.

Love this extension, except for one thing: The Drive widget is broken. It used to be verified by Google, but somewhere along the way got unverified. After I accidentally deleted the widget that had my active session, I am now unable to link the widget with my drive account and have much less functionality than I used to. :( If this is fixed, 5 stars.

This extension is great! ALTHOUGH in recent updates you guys have removed the links in the top right hand corner of the page, and instead put them in a tool bar which is absolutely HORRIBLE. You guys have inherently destroyed one of the best features of your extension. Now i need to open a tool bar, then scroll to find the link I need which is VERY unneccessary. The old layout was significantly more productive. I'd highly appreciate if you changed this back, it's very disappointing as this quick access to links was a core reason i use your extentision. Please fix it soon or else I may change extensions. Thanks, if changed will rate 5 stars :)

Next level! Easily the best of these extensions out there. Heaps of widgets including stuff like iFrames and HTML meaning the limit is your imagination.

Can't live without this. As customizable as you want, like with the iframe widget

They made some update and I think "finally it works for more than 2 seconds now" click the "+" button on the right and it is instantly corrupted still hahaha.

Used to love this, but it corrupts and doesn't work anymore.

I've tried them all ... and this one works the best.

Modifying my review as it looks like support for the product is back. Reserving final review until I see results. Still best in class Good extension, but after spending a lot of time setting up the home page version, this one doesn't sync. I only give it 3 stars since it looks like I have to do all that work over again and the developer seems to be out of touch. Haven't been able to get in touch with support despite several methods provided and the promise of better support if I upgraded to Pro. No presence on social media and no decent forums. I guess it's ok, but you're on your own.

I barely set it up before it kept crashing and saying it was corrupted. It looked promising, but I'll never know...

can i colse the search bar on top? or exange Bing for Google?

Update 4/3/19: Now they broke the Style setting. Can select "Button" or "No Search Bar" (which is also button), no longer have the "Normal" view and with no search bar there is a big gap at the top of the screen. Great job guys! Still Broken: New developers took over and broke widgets. When you click Widget from menu, the extension corrupts. Only happens on Chromebooks. Broken for months with little communication or a fix. They also ruined the Google Calendar widget, used to be simple UI and two-finger scroll-able, now it is a messy UI and I have to constantly click date forward.

I love it, can't live without it, but recently it has been resetting back to default, but I just back it up and restore it when I need to. Otherwise love it! Thanks

All of a sudden there is a search bar that users CANNOT remove, and it is the biggest POS eyesore and the reason I am deleting iChrome effective immediately.

Love it. would suggesting adding more widget interface and options,esp for the "Agenda" tap. 40 days list is too long and 1 day list is too long. best if weekly or 10 days interface available. oh and will appreciate if more backgrounds (esp motion ones) added

Liked it until the recent update. It was intolerable! Disabled for now; I'll see what the next update brings.

Really great. Always lets me know whats going on out there regarding news and weather. Possibly the best plugin i ever got, i have to admit.

Could be really awesome, if they made switching to google for the search bar easy (or allowed you to remove the search bar at the top) and if you could pay to have adds removed. At the current way this thing is set up, its 20 bucks a year to have their landing page be add free, which is, honestly, waaaaaaay too much money for what this is. a one time fee is the only way this would make sense, or like, a 1 dollar yearly subscription, but 20 bucks? really?

Used to be great until it randomly reset to default settings. After setting all my stuff back up, it doesn't stick. Weather is set to C and my location, but it only displays F and San Francisco.

very useful! i love seeing everything on one page and having the ability to check definitions, translate news, most frequently visited sites, and have a to-do list right on that page! Even better, there are so many other ones you can add!

I've had my issues with this plugin over the years, but its flexibility is simply unmatched. The fact that the free version lets you specify custom CSS more than makes up for any shortcomings. Speaking of which, use .ad-unit {display:none !important} in your custom CSS to disable the ad banner.

I love iChrome as my new home page. I can see all the important information to me at a glance - from weather to my calendar to sites I follow via RSS.

This extensions is avesome for home page. And I like it even more with transparent background with CSS code that Maria Archangel mentioned earlier.
