Does exactly what I needed. I can lock a specific tab to prevent it from being closed or refreshed. I keep a tab with a few different crypto charts but it doesn't save any trendlines or notations I add. I was constantly closing the tab by accident or hitting reload and having to redo everything. This lets you click a little lock icon on the extensions bar (address bar) for individual tabs, if I try to close the tab or browser, I get a warning requiring me to verify if I want to leave/close.There is no need to pin a tab or create a separate tab to lock your own. You just need the one tab you're using.
It does nothing....
It doesn't really perform any specific useful function, such as record tab history. It's pointless really.

I got this extension so I could lock my gmail tab. It will not lock my gmail tab. Gmail was not running when I installed the extension, so the problem must be something other than the extension wont lock tabs that were open when it is installed. Very disappointed. It's other features look promising, but if it wont lock my gmail tab, it is mostly useless to me. Since the developer wont respond to thoughtful reviews, support requests and questions, I give up. Dropping this extension. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN ITS FUNCTIONALITY.
Very useful, it has functionality that i didnt know i needed.

While it no longer locks tabs, it keeps track of your recently closed tabs so that if you accidentally close your browser with multiple tabs you can get them right back open. I do however wish the dev would fix tab locking again.

I used to love it, but the Related column is now empty and the Undo column is full of duplicates, making it 50% less useful! :P
It looks great, but I won't use it. I'm looking for something I could fire a shortcut, start typing to filter the results, use arrows to select between 2 or 3 filtered and hit enter to change the tab. Keyboard only please!
Same issue as other users: some keyboard shortcuts stop working while this particular extension is active, backspace most notably. Otherwise a great extension with a good UI.

terrible app that will prevent certain web pages from using your back button. You will have to click back multiple times with unexpected results to go back to previous page. Once I uninstalled it, my back button worked just fine.
Great extension, icing on the cake, as it were. My migration to Google Chrome is complete, now that I have TabJump to lock tabs! And as an additional bonus, I get the other features of TabJump. Thank you.
no longer works
This doesn't lock tabs. I was trying to use this extension to keep my daughter from closing my browsers. Can't use this one for that.
Ctrl+Shift+T doesn't seem to be working when using this extension on incognito mode, even if it has been allowed from the settings. You can still restore the closed tab from the TabJump-menu, it's a shame that the shortcut doesn't work... perhaps it's a limitation forced by chrome?
Great..!... Google needs to up their Chrome Game... If you Open more than 30 Tab on ur Chrome Browser.... Forget about it... You can't see squat... nada... nothing... no Icons, absolutely Blank Tabs all the way from left to right... even worst is chrome for mobile devices...!! Thank You Visibotech for this great Extension, It helps navigate this miserable browser... Sorry Firefox is ultimately The King of Browsers...!

@visibotech. I love the app, but I have 2 suggestions that I feel would make the app a 5 star app. 1) When you close the app, it is defaulted to select "leave this page." I often hit enter automatically and I suddenly lose the page I had previously locked. I think it would be better if it was deafulted on "Stay on this page" as the whole idea is to prevent closing a tab accidentally. 2) It would be nice if TabJump kept a history of tabs you locked, but later closed (as opposed to recently closed, since that is already a feature of google chrome). Thank you!
