Been using Windscribe for a little over 4 years and i have never had any major problems with windscribe. They are in my honest opinion the best VPN service and company i've ever encountered. I feel safe and know that you always have me secured. I am a satisifed customer and their plans are well worth investing in. So many locations to choose from along with pop-up blockers and many other amazing website and account features. Do not sleep on windscribe if you're looking for a solid VPN. Amazing speeds as well.

It's perfect for people that don't want to pay for a vpn, it has what sound like good premium, haven't tried it becuase i don't use the vpn that much but it's perfect for poeple that wnat a little vpn without to much hassel.

The chrome extension is easy to use, the connection speeds are fast, and the ad and tracker blocking feature is a nice bonus. The free version offers 10GB of monthly data usage, which is plenty for my needs. Plus, I appreciate that Windscribe takes privacy seriously and doesn't log user data. When I started using It worked fine. But now it is not working properly and unable to block Ads on some websites and specially on Youtube. So please look into this issue and fix this.

I can't login to my account any more because it cant fetch my api. I even tried loging in from android and windows and that didn't work either. pls fix this.

I've used it for a few years and never had a problem that has not been sorted. It does what it says on the tin. There is also a version on their web page which is worth checking out as it includes other 'treats' to consider. Also, the customer service is good. You go to the web page, enter the problem and they get back to you. In my case it was within 12 hours. Saying that, I only had one problem which was sorted after 2 emails. The programme itself was not the problem. It was me and my lack of tech knowledge.

Listen. I've tried them all. I've been a Windscribe loyalist for many years and it's simply the best. Browser extension, phone, whatever - you cannot find a better VPN. The team is fun too. They've had the same stupid meme on the reset password page for like 10 years - and I respect anyone who maintains a meme that long. Buy it - it's good.

Been using Windscribe on my computer for several years. I've been using the Chrome browser extension for a couple of months. I love it, but Google hates it (which proves that it is working). I find that a lot of websites don't work properly with the extension running and I have to temporarily turn it off to get something done... then I turn it back on again. Not a big deal and well worth the hassle for the extra security while browsing. Windscribe is a great company... and their VPN service is the best I've used (and I've tried a few different ones). The premium account pricing is very reasonable for unlimited data. And there are NEVER any performance issues.

Windscribe works and acutally blocks advertisements but not oin spotify cause spotify has like anti adblocker somehow but the adblocker works on youtube but sometimes they will ask me for a login to www.totallyacdn.com or something like that and its annoying

I didn't take notes for a class, so when the proff was scanning past my row to look at the notes taken i turned off my computer, I said it died, I opened it and it turned back on, I was terrified, then windscribe connected! Due to the type of wifi we use no links would "Load" and I acted so cunfused, he bought it and I passed. Thank you Windscribe.

It may not be the fastest but you get 10 GB per month of decent speed VPN locations for free. I defiantly recommend it. (Pro tip: You will use up your 10 GBs quickly if you watch high quality videos.)

Works when it wants to, usually I get this stupid bug where the extension will log itself out and I can't log back in again. Just loads forever and doesn't bother to ping 2FA, just annoying to remove the plugin and add it again just to get it to login. Then it logs itself out again, and then I repeat the process once more. Little bit more QA testing would've probably avoided this mess.

Not a bad app but when i put my windows 11 computer to sleep and wake it up the app is yellow and needs to be logged out and back in to work right again. Other than that a 4 star app.

برای شرایط فعلی ایران که پلاگینهای سابق هیچکدوم کار نمیکنندعالیه. فقط بدیش اینه که باید در حین نصب و راه اندازی فیلترشکن دیگری داشته باشی اما می ارزد. لینک فعالسازی به ایمیل میفرسته.یوزر و پسوورد توش درست میکنی . بعدش اولین باری که میخوای لاگین کنی باید فیلترشکن دیگری داشته باشی روشن باشه. اما دفعات بعدی نیاز به لاگین نداره و سریع وصل میشه. حتماً توصیه میکنم استفاده کنید. نسخه های دسکتاپ و موبایلش هم خیلی خوبه.

While my dl rate has halved from 8 Mbps to 4 Mbps and my latency jumped from 30ms to 140ms, I was still able to watch and scrub YouTube on 1080p with no buffering. If certain sites fail, you can whitelist URLs that should disable VPN, etc. for government sites or banking sites. If you pay a fee to WindScribe, there's dedicated online streaming servers called WindFlix (i.e. WindScribe for NetFlix). I was able to bypass geo-blocked Amazon Prime US, Netflix US, HiDive US to watch HD shows with no buffering as well. (Yay for Made In Abyss! Watch it now.) You can custom your WindScribe subscription to designate only 2 VPN locations with unlimited data for US$3 per month, renewed on a monthly basis with no lock-in contract. Note: My YouTube experience was using a normal, non-WindFlix server. You should use normal WindScribe servers instead of WindFlix servers unless necessary, as you will selfishly expose WindFlix addresses to the global media monguls' VPN detection system.

Amazing VPN. doesn't disconnect, high speed and blacklists suspicious websites. I've been saved multiple times. While it doesnt have unlimited data, you can always reinstall it or support the creator. much deserved

Exceptional services throughout since my discovery back in 2019. Yeah it did had some connection glitches but man it recovered in no time and has proven to be very helpful. The pricing is top notch and allows you to enjoy a good chunk for free as well. Definitely recommended.

Over the last 2 years or more, Windscribe worked great, but no longer connects reliably for me. Intermittent and long delays to connect. I've been in touch with "support" and they have simply told me to do everything that I had already tried over a period of nearly two weeks. They finally gave up and told me that I have an old operating system. I tried the newer version and it was even worse. I have now switched to another, more reliable software that had better reviews and ratings and it works like Windscribe used to work. Incidentally, I am a paid subscriber and have been.

Windscribe is top notch VPN utility for web browsers. Highly recommended. I'm currently using the free extension for Chrome that includes 10GB of monthly VPN traffic and access to a wide range of nodes worldwide, but at some point in the future I see myself upgrading. The extension works also on Opera and other Chromium/Firefox based browsers. There's also a Desktop program available that allows the whole system (and not just the browser) to use the VPN.

I love that Windscribe is always innovating and improving the service, and has easy tools to use it on the major computer and mobile platforms. This extension works well and is part of my go-to setup for any web browser I use

It's pretty good. But the default privacy setting of this extension makes it unable to pass hCaptcha and leads to an infinite loop. Hope dev can fix it soon.

It says i can use it on ALL of my devices.....It's a LIE....after you add a few devices, it locks your account and disconnects ALL devices!!!!! Then you get a change password.....you do that and login into 3 devices and LOCKED AGAIN.....WASTE of time and effort...left messages got no replys. STAY CLEAR OF WINDSCRIBE IF YOU HAVE A LOAD OF DEVICES.......You dont get this issue with Surfshrk so try there if you have a lot of devices!

works great but recently it has become necessary to create an account/login to use the vpn which is inconvenient for someone who doesn't use it very often previously the disadvantage(which was fair) for not making an account was that you only get 1gb however personally that was enough for my usage. I hope the option of using the extension without creating an account is returned as soon as possible!

This is a great VPN and extension, except there are no blacklists. I need to have the extension running all the time, but traffic goes through the VPN only for the blacklisted websites. I will return with a 5-star whenever you add this feature.

The free version does not allow any location from NZ or AUS. I have no problem with requiring a paid upgrade for more locations, but at least let us use 1 location from each country. Other proxy apps allow this so I'm switching.

Needed a VPN since I have photos saved on Pinterest that I need for a class project, but Pinterest is blocked. However, this requires you to log in through a website which is also blocked, so pretty much completely useless to me.

One positive: Its free, and worked like a charm. One negative: It was the sole culprit of a RAM leak issue whenever I tried to use Disney+. Just opening the Disney+ webpage with Windscribe VPN as an active extension (not even actually running, just existing) caused Chrome to consume more and more RAM on Disney+ until the webpage crashed. Disabling Windscribe fixed the issue. If this issue gets fixed, the rating is 5 stars, but right now its a 3 because of the frustration this has caused.

Windscribe started activating without my notice, draining my data.. even AFTER I disabled auto-start. Waited 1 month for my data to be restored just for it to be gone in under 2 days. Ouch.
