Nov. 2018 OP: Works. And the additional rating preview function is great. Feb. 2021 Edit: Honestly surprised (and glad) that the rating preview function on this extension still works. I uninstalled this extension in favour of another one back in 2019 IIRC, and that one stopped working last year. Back to this one I guess.
sometimes, takes another reload, but it works... compared to "others"...

Almost all thumbnail videos in youtube were disappeared. After installing this extension, they come back. Thank you very much.
Used this extension on both Chrome & Firefox. I like seeing a preview of the video, and the simple rating bar. The only small problem, is that if you go through a lot of channels, the bar does not show up for a minute or so.

WRONG THUMBNAIL! Often changes the thumbnails in the Recomended/Up Next column. Similar to the Netflix bug where the wrong description shows up on a show or movie. VERY frustrating when you want to see what video the thumbnail is from but can't find it.
The App keeps getting better! Before, the extension would show three preview images from the video, Now it actaully shows a small segment of the video! played in the thumbnail. 10/10 A+++
Worked perfectly. Now Youtube does this on its own! So no need to get this anymore. :)
Shows very few image previews (looks like a slideshow of 4 images) and often shows the wrong video. Also, it seems to be breaking YouTube sometimes for me, however I can't be certain if it's this extension in particular.
The best! let's you verify if the video is what you were actually looking for; also includes ratings preview. I will never fall for fake videos again!

Some Thumbnails And Videos Aren't High-Quality (And Not Cropped Correctly), Also Needs WAY More Frames.
Looks like something that was made in 2005, also it would be nice if it showed more than 3 frames of the video.

It just needs more thumbnails as someone else has also said and thats why i took away one star, other than that it works like you'd expect it to.
Another great extension for YouTube. It's simple but cool, let's you see a preview of a YouTube video before watching it! It automatically scrolls through the pics very fast but I can change it, I made it so they scroll with 3 secs for each picture.

Probably the best, least glitchy, and easiest to use Video Previewer extension out there. There are still some things I think can be added or improved, but nevertheless, this is a great extension. You won't regret installing it.
This is one of the things keeping me a Chrome user.

What happen to the rating bar?, was a great youtube extension all that I needed
I used to like this extension. The latest v1.3.0 requires a new permission: Access your tabs and browsing activity. This made me suspicious of this extension and this I will no longer use it until someone explains why this permission is required!
Works on most videos and is buggy at times.
Make an option to disable the youtube Rating bar, i already have an addon that does a better job at it. Edit: Thanks for Listening Dev, 3 stars now became 5!
doesn't work on channels, only on video page win7 ult 64bit
Works really well, when you restart your computer...If you fail to, the addon will not work. It is not enough to restart your browser! Otherwise, it works perfectly!

yeah it stopped working - please fix asap - I LOVE THIS EXTENSION !!! it is indispensable, once you get used to it browsing YT without really sucks. Just in case the developer actually reads this- to let you know on my Win XP comp it works fine but on my Win 7 it doesnt ?
