Fast, simple and accurate! couldn't be any better.
Pretty great
Works perfectly for my needs.
Good working plugin thx 5+!!!
The fantastic part of this tools is that I could download a.ts file that I am pretty sure is the video but I don't have any clue how to make it playable for any player. I read something about m3u8 files, decrypting and devtools but it was too much to understand. If you have any reply to this post, I'll change the rating to 5 stars because you seem to be on a great track despite it still needs to nail the final outcome. Best.
Good extension which helps me download many .ts files.
I was unable to get it to function. I pasted the link and the link is valid yet nothing happened in the extension.
Works GREAT! Could use some improvements with the playlist limit and stability but it did the job i needed and couldn't be happier to have found it.
Excellent, also works on relatively small sites, no frills, just does what it's supposed to do.
This extension was exactly what I've been looking for! It allowed me to downloaded a fragmented stream of .ts files effortlessly. Props to the developer for making such a great piece of software.
Works really good on Brave browser.
Works nice!
It works awesome. Just needed to convert TS files to mp4 using key file and m3u8 file. It would we better if we could download more than 1 links at once or make a proper queue for the links without showing the error "Ran out of Memory" Thankyou :D
May 2022, the video output seems flawed. The video streamed fine on the website, and when downloaded resulted in a .ts file, ~200MB (expected). However, Handbrake said the file was not a valid source not could I play it back in VLC.
Works great, ignore the 1-star reviews. I'm on macOS, and I can go to a page that streams HLS video (.ts segments), click the extension icon, and it brings up a window showing each video. I click the download icon and boom, I've got a single TS file locally. Of course, you'll need to convert that to MP4 or whatever format you want, as TS is not a common format that'll play in most video players (VLC will, though).
Don't understand the low rating. It worked perfectly for me. Some wrote that this extension download the file as .ts but it didn't for me (I was downloading audio and got .aac output), not sure if the extension got updated or this depends from where you download but I'm just sharing my experience as it's different than some of the other users. Big thank you to the developer! This extension really helped me in a big way.
Video worked ok, downloaded in .ts format. But no audio came with it?
The most reliable downloader for HLS in the chrome web store.
Doesnt do anything
it says what it's told to do, although it took me a few minutes to get used to, but there's no major issues while using it, it exports videos on .ts file, you may need to use converters, but that's only a minor problem.
Awesome
useless
HLS stream URLs just replaces one and other.
First video I tried to download, I got one line, but no options to download. Could not download where another extension I'm using, coul.
Hmm... It's an open source project without a code repository...
Extension is actually quite good, and I like the simplicity. No conversion of files (plus in my case), just merges files. Works on small unknown sites (so not just big names). What I miss: some kind of info of resolution/quality/.. for each line, as it finds all streams available. I got around it because site I'm using has files named with bits per second value in the m3u name. It would be nice for it to have separate download dir, but I temporarily changed my Chrome default download directory to work around it. What I really miss is adding a better name to downloaded file... It's not in playlist so I get it's probably not as simple as download & merge. I do rename manually right now. But at least it works and dowsn't require 2 more apps/exe/msi installed just to work on basic need as - download.
USELESS. Windows 10, It says it is downloading, spins a good while. Save dialogue is ON. But NO save appears, no new file(s) anywhere. Where does it put the result? Or I guess it just uses the bandwidth and then throws away the result?????
