The extension does not keep the settings active that I configured in the extension menu. Block Popups is active on all sites regardless of how I set it up. i.e. I have it set up to only block blacklisted sites and I have not blacklisted any sites. Yet, all sites have popups blocked. I have a similar issue with Notifications being blocked when I have them unblocked. I appreciate the value of this extension as far as privacy and security are involved. I wish I did not have to disable the extension when I need a popup. I am a freemium user. Not asking for support.

Awful. It slowed down the opening of new pages and tabs so much that I thought that I either had a virus or needed a new computer. My computer is old and my antivirus software came up clean. I decided to try turning off any extensions that I had added in the past few weeks and fortunately, I tried this one first. My computer immediately got faster, so this was the only extension that I had to try. It only affected my Chrome browser. Safari and Microsoft Edge were unaffected, probably because I only had it on Chrome. Maybe if my computer were newer, it wouldn't have been so bad, but it was for me. I originally just turned it off, but decided to remove it, since I have several other extensions that work without slowing down my Mac. I only reinstalled it to write this review, then it's gone again.

I like the options this extension gives me, but while using it I see a gradual slowdown of my browser until pages start freezing. This is especially pronounced while using bitbucket. I'm guessing there is some kind of memory leak in the extension.

There is no granular control of certain websites that require access to input devices, ie, microphone, speakers, etc. For instance, Google Voice now only works in the web browser for desktop. JustBlock Security extension blocks WebRTC and there is no way to whitelist GV that I can find for that specific function. If it is there then the extension is not intuitive enough and a full set of documentation is required or why believe any of us general lay-users would use it?

It works & is good, but I've run into an issue where I have to return to the Chrome web store because the JustBlock Security icon disappeared from the Extensions list in the top right corner, and every time, it says "This item has been disabled for Chrome." This has happened several times and it just keeps happening. Three stars because it's actually helpful, but this issue is getting on my nerves.

I have this ex for about 1week so I honestly can not say to much of anything but so far it appears to be doing well with this chrome book that I am useing it on I will keep you posted to the near futh.er.Well I have the just block security for a a while know and it seems to be working still very well so I now will give it a 5 star that it well deserves.

This would be better if: A, the block unsafe website option stopped turning off automatically, and B, it blocked the eicar test files.

Hell yeah I had trouble with search engine hijacker bs, so all my google searches was directed to Microsoft Bing( I don't wish that on my worst enemy). and this app just found the extension responsible for hijacking automatically. Thank you.

I rate it a 1* because I'm kind of suspicious on the reviews and I don't know if this can help me with a problem. I want an extension that keeps me safe from hackers who tries exposing my personal info like addresses and stuff. Maybe someone can recommend me an extension or app?

I really really love this extension it is very helpful, the only downfault, which is not their fault because they are trying to help, but some things that I use for work it would block everything on the page and I would just be looking at a blank screen with maybe the color white on it, and I do not see what is supposed to be shown before that, and so I have a question is there a way I can put in a website that it alllows 3-party thingies because, I noticed when I enabled it so I can do my work and I refreshed the page, I was able to use it properly.

Wow! Great extension to block malware, ads, trackers, and phishing!

I have one request: Your notification that "Ads and Trackers have been blocked" invariably covers the login button in the upper right-hand corner of every website I visit. Can you please make it draggable and remember the new location that the user drags it to? I can't move or even dismiss the notification, and it takes its sweet time to disappear. Until it goes away I'm stuck waiting. PLEASE FIX THIS. I am surprised no one else has found this to be a problem. Maybe they all just turn off JustBlock notifications. I wasn't sure if that is advisable. Until it stops blocking my progress I may have to do the same.

Downloaded it and this extension actually did something to my surprise! Nothing accept malicious pop-ups and YouTube isn't working. I expected better. Period.

Great extension only trying to figure out why all of a sudden I lose my map on the local weather page. You can see the State, Counties, Cities and roads anymore. Web site is https://www.wctv.tv/weather/ wonder if maybe something not updated with JustBlock Security code as it was working fine.

I love the block extension option because I used to have this extension that keeps blocking me from sites that are safe and it was impossible to remove it because it keeps reinstalling itself. But you guys kick in and end that misery from my device. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

I came looking for just an ad blocker or a virus blocker and found this, while it can cause the occasional problem on one or two sites it has many useful features that help me out to no end I would reccomend this to any one looking for a free service to help their computer last longer and work faster on sites with harmful malware.

Other than the extension occasionally popping up "ads and trackers blocked" or something like it, this extension is great. It does everything it says it does. If you could block unnecessary scripts along with it, I would rate it 100 stars if I could.

Best all in one extensive cybersecurity extension on Chrome ever! It's underrated to give 5 stars, totally a 10/10! Just wish Chrome extension is allowed on mobile version. Hopefully the same team will come up with a cross platform mobile apps in future, if ever. Kudos to the JustBlock Security team!

I have tested all my extensions & pinned the problem down to this app. For some reason it's preventing videos in Youtube from being marked as "watched" after the last Chrome update.

It works ok to an extent, where it tells you even when you are watching something online, that the ads are blocked, when you activate that section. But, apart from that, it is absolutely fine with me and I am very satisfied with this add-on! After modifying my review, I feel amazed about how JustBlock Security made their extension impeccable! Thanks JustBlock Security; you've done well!

This program is Malware (ad-ware) virus! Don't install, i tested this extension with Spy-Hunter 5 Paid program, and this is 100% virus! Don't install this!

It's a good protection layer for your browser and gives a large variety of things that can be used to defend yourself, overall this is a good extension and I recommend this to others.

It's just okay. The red x to delete channels on youtube is superimposed over the damned video so if you click the red x it does not block the video it plays the damned video. No setting on my machine will change that. It does not block "people you may know" or the "marketplace" on facebook as it claims either. Not buying the upgrade when the free version is buggy as hell.

Nothing amazing but I'm not looking for anything amazing. It simply works, simple guy with a good and simple solution. Thats how I started anyway but as I realize the easily access features.. I'm finding I may need to look into more of what this software offers. For now its good for me.
