Great initiative, but needs some improvements -- - The entire selected text can be copied to email description - Title needs to be a summary of the selected text (or at least a subset of it). Perhaps the tab title can be used as the event title. - Needs to add the page URL into the event description. - When a time is given in the selected text, the event should start at given time and end time should be empty (or default to +30 minutes). Current behavior is <specified time to specified time> which doesn't make sense.
Automatically parses dates as MM/DD with no way to change the behaviour. Defeats the point of automatic creation if I have to fix every date manually.
Simply doesn't work. No option to connect to your existing calendars (in fact, "Options" is not available when you right-click on the extension button), and clicking on "Create Google Calendar Event" just takes you to this very page in Chrome Web Store. Maybe this used to work at one point, but it hasn't been updated since 2019 and should probably be taken down.
Works well, lowest effort way to create calendar events and set reminders from raw text and messages.
Yes! No more missing Handshake events because they don't send you a calendar invite.
