Without dark mode, this plugin is functionally worthless to me - it's the only reason I cared to use it. Fortunately the 'Dark Reader' plugin, one I'd previously tried about a year ago only to find it mis-handled numerous lightning panes (not to mention killing load times), has been updated recently with a profile specific to Lightning that works quite well these days, and with no noticeable performance impact as far as I could discern.

Please bring back the dark mode and save our eyes!

Dark mode, PLEASE!! This is great to make sure all tabs open in my same sales console window, but my eyes will be singing your praises when you bring back Dark Mode.

Sales force gives very flexibility in many areas and very user friendly for both experienced and non experienced IT people. If Sales forces team is working on some features, we have to give some times to finish it. Might be they are facing some issue with it. Even we stuck with one code line item it's takes hours to resolve it. As developer we have to understand the situation.so we have to just wait.

Dark mode doesn't work, greyed out. Extension advertises dark mode, but doesn't actually provide dark mode.

I AM IN FRONT OF A SCREEN FOR 11 HOURS A DAY. AND I GET HEADACHES. BRING BACK DARK MODE!

For the ones complaining you can enable the dark mode by playing with the source files of the extension... Obviously you need to enable the developer mode in chrome extensions panel and upload the extension package manually... Not perfect, but at least it's dark...

The lightening dashboard is a jumbled mess with too many details, and is as blinding as it's namesake. It's amazing that they removed and cannot seem to redeliver dark mode. A bunch of us in our company got sick of the interface, so we made our own. Can't stand this version of sales force.

Link grabber feature is a massive time (and sanity) saver for Salesforce Lightning. It's too bad that dark mode has been "temporarily disabled" for nearly two years at this point; that was a close second on best feature for this extension since 95% of my day is spent in Salesforce. Looks like the extension hasn't been updated in nearly a year either. I wonder if it was someone's pet project and they left SFDC?

Link grabber is the only thing worth getting this extension for. We all know SF is poorly implemented, and I was hoping this would help. However, dark mode has been gone forever (its been nearly 10 months...cmon guys) forcing me to try using some other 3rd party garbage so my eyes stop bleeding. This should be renamed to Salesforce Lightning Link Grabber, again, since that's really all its good for.

Changed review to 1 star. Salesforce has completely forgotten about this extension and it seems like they will never restore dark mode. It's baffling because I guarantee at least 75% of their developers probably use dark mode in everything. But they can't just "fix" dark mode even though it WORKED PERFECTLY FINE!

Dark mode STILL not functional with no update in over a year. Not sure why this is such a difficult process when similar software we use has had no problem. Pretty comical for a company with this many resources at this point

Until dark mode is brought back, this review stays at 1 star. As it will for Salesforce review I'm leaving.

The only reason was Dark Mode. Moving to "Dark Mode for Salesforce". Good luck.

useless Dark Mode doesn't work components are not hidden link grabber is useless because there are bunch of cases when you need to have multiple tabs open

Came for the dark mode like everyone else. Wish dev could make the extension open source or maybe just the dark mode logic on github. Does anyone have access to the last working version with dark mode? I read a few reviews claiming Dark Reader wasn't working but I've had pretty good luck with it in lightning since ~Oct 2020. There are some broken areas of blinding white but overall I couldn't imagine working without it.

Please, please bring back dark mode. Please.

I clicked Component customization icon on the header to edit a home page. But it is not working. Component Visibility toggle is not showed up.

It appears the extension has been abandoned. Dark mode has been gone too long. :-(

The only reason to use this extension is dark mode and its almost more than a year and you guys not even thinking to bring it back.

I got this extension for the Dark Mode, and nothing else. The Dark Mode is not working for a year. The developers could just say that the Dark Mode feature was removed, but instead keep saying "Working on it", which is clearly misleading.

Not working for how many months now.

I downloaded this for the dark mode and they took it away. I understand a temporary outage to address an update or debug, but it's been all year. BRING IT BACK.

How can enabling dark mode be this difficult? Would be 5/5 but disabling dark mode for several months with no update is annoying.

Installed it for a Dark Mode and now it's doesn't work for months. Still, they working hard to bring it back, they say. Try harder!

This was a great 5 star extension until they disabled Dark Mode. Now it's been 6 months with no end in sight to my newly gained eye strain.

It was great, had it purely for the dark mode as it helps my eyes but it has since been disabled and has been that way for months what the hell salesforce almost like you don't care.

It's a good tool for the work that I do, however, I'm incredibly disappointed that dark mode has been 'Temporarily' disabled... I work on SF all day and dark mode was a headache saver! Please get this figured out... :(

Really miss dark mode...

I wanted to use this for dark mode, but that's not available. I have users complaining about the contrast on the Lightning interface and wanted to see if this would help. I was surprised to see that this was actually created by Salesforce. There's an idea on their Idea Exchange related to this that has gone ignored.

Without DARK MODE its realllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy baddddddddddddddddd. Why are the developers not looking into it!! is there a possible explanation why?? that would be very helpful thanks!!

No Dark Mode

The biggest scam I've ever seen, and extension that's supposed to have a dark mode, but then after the shortest time it just gets "temporarily disabled" and never gets back up again. If I could extend my lifespan "temporarily" like that then I'm sure I would live forever... There is really no way I can give it more than one star, because that was by far the most important feature of the extension, and it feels like close to half a year now that it hasn't been working. I know the dark mode had some issues and bugs, but that's no reason to switch it off, I'd way rather live with that than with the pure ugliness of the Salesforce interface.

I've found a ton of use with this extension, but since the middle of April, Dark Mode has been disabled. I've been relying on another extension for dark mode within Salesforce (and it's not nearly as good) and can't wait for this issue to be resolved. Only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars.

Terrible without darkmode - it's been "temporarily disabled" for months now and ive lost at least 10 years off the life of my retinas. It worked fine before it was disabled, not sure how it could take so long to fix.

Please fix dark mode. My retinas are getting burned out :(

The feedback gForm is really buggy to the point I should really feel it out. The Link Grab cause a weird behavior where it forces all tabs with the Org instance name in the url to be opened in the single tab. I can see a need where I click something on that tab to have that behavior but if I open a separate tab for the Org it should hijack the browser and force me into the one tab. tbh - I didn't even give the feature a shot because of this weird behavior. It's like SF turning on lightning for the Org and forcing every to drop everything cold turkey. :

Love this extension, helps a lot with late nighters and general eye strain. Only comment I have is that the content editor within Knowledge is still the default light / white version.

Link Grabber is awesome in combination with Lightning Console. I absolutely love dark mode, but a Starry Night mode would be even better and more on-brand with the National Parks theme.

I highly recommend for the 2 features 1 ) dark mode 2) Special copy link… so when you select beyond hyperlinks it doesn’t open in a new browser.

Would be nice if they could add a light grey mode as well. There is just too much white in the standard lightning mode.

Makes Lightning more customizable, dark mode is amazing !

Dark mode is a really niche request from users that this extension fulfils and helps us out with user adoption. The Link Grabber is a god-send, time and time again our Salesmen open leads directly from an email template link, then aren't satisfied with a second tab showing. This saves us seamlessly.

Great extension! I love the dark mode! My only request for a change is when I'm opening emails, it shows the text as black, rather than white (using einstein activity capture). Would be nice if that color was flipped.

It's too bad that we can't read the emails in the related email section. The contrast is too low.

It's a great plugin, but unfortunately doesn't work with redirection URLs like ours: https://<mydomain>---lightning.force.com.rproxy.goskope.com/ If there's any way you could update the plugin to look at these types of URLs, I'd gladly swap to a 5 star review!

I love the darkmode, but I'm still looking for a way to have a custom search engine. Is this possible does anyone know?

Agent UI case messages are still loading with a white background and black text and dark grey background with black text. Hope this will get fixed as Dark Mode is looking great so far!

Dark mode is great but i can let our users have this extension if it gives users access to change layouts by removing components! can we have dark mode as a separate extension better yet build it into salesforce natively.

New Dark Mode is great, but what happened to Magic Clipboard and Trailhead integration?

Came for the Dark Mode, fell in love with the Link Grabber. This needs to be a separate plugin asap, because it saves a lot of time but there is no way I'm letting every user enable the Component Customization feature. That part of the plugin is pretty much an open door to making layout troubleshooting near impossible to do.

I literally couldn't wait for the Dark Mode to come out! Dev Team proving once again why they're the best in the game!
