This extension worked great, but after years of use, it now is asking for a paid license. Avoid this like the plague.

Much faster and lighter than dinasour IE and works fine with some apps like HikVision NVR.

Was working last week but has stopped working. I uninstalled an reinstalled with no improvement.

It worked great but troubleshot with a client so uninstalled and reinstalled now we have to pay! Guess I was grandfathered in. Sucks but may need it so will just be out $19. We shall see.

A great extension. It runs all my old IE plug in reliant stuff even better than IE and I get no more Microsoft nagware messages re updating to Edge each time I open them. I use it for many IP cameras and it works for all of them including the ones that no longer work with IE!

MS to drop support of IE, is there any way to continue using IE using this extension?

When it works its fine. but 50 % of the time its useless

IE mode is not working its says that we have to upload to the latest version.

What does it even do? the download and set up is a pain, and not efficient. Why is everything I need to find to get this working hidden?

Does it work on Ipad Pro? or iMac Device?

It works well, however, only for a few hours. It's never clear that it's a paid app. They want $6/month for 10 hours per month. It's easier to a Virtual Machine (with Oracle Virtual Box) or even buy an old Windows computer.

As time goes on having IETab to connect to aging devices that lack modern security protocols is vital to device continuity.

Works well with Hikvision NVR and cameras. Use Auto URLs and add to favourites bar to make browser access easy

Perfect replacement for iexplorer when accessing web interface menus from CCTV devices such as IP cameras and NVRs or DVRs.

It works and has many options, although to use them all you must pay the company $$

Trying to access Axis cameras with IETAB. Doesn't work!

Great extension! It just saved my IT hide. MS put out a new update that broke old IE and we couldn't see our cameras. That was until I found this nice little IE Tab extension. I added the camera URL in the Auto URLs setting, and I'm back in action.

Works like a charm! Increase my productivity by eliminating the need for switching back and forth between Chrome and I.E. Now, I run that single I.E.-only website inside Chrome. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Works a whole lot better to IE mode in Edge which only allows IE mode for any URL for 30 days. And then it nags you constantly. This is a great free alternative.

used to be a good extension. Now they're trying to force users to a paid version, so it's turned into annoying nagware. Bait and switch gets a 1-star rating from me. I'm uninstalling and finding something else. Bad actor in the marketplace; beware!

Its good but free version is quite limited in terms of features. Some features should be added to this version.

Keeps the world simple when I need to access HIK Vision CCTV. It works! Yet to figure how to save the URL/IP address of the CCTV server at work. (Tried right clicking on the IE tab/icon/thingo to no avail.) If this is all I have to worry about then I am having a good time. There are much more important things to worry about than having to enter an IP address when I need to look at CCTV. Thank you to the developers that can make the difficult easy!

It's not reliable, no back button, half the time the address bar is locked and can't change the webpage or even type in that field.

Thanks for made this useful tool in order can be opened some application that still useing IE, which it work a bit slower than normally, anyhow can be acceptable as great work, especially without IE in the device.

I have struggled for years to communicate with older network devices, keeping old versions of IE and old computers. IE Tab has solved all these issues for me, allowing me to use Chrome with the IE Tab exension with all these devices. THANKS SO MUCH!

The product works sometimes. The extension is loaded but enabling it (click to get the IE tab) takes several tries and attempts before it opens. Otherwise it just sits there ignoring me. I only need this for my HIK DVR. I now paid for a licensed version, but cannot the licence key loaded - it accepts the detail but when I look at the options screen, it still says unlicensed. I've done this several times as well.

So far, so good.

I saw several reviews from users really shooting it down. With the IE Explorer browser (not to confuse with the IE Engine) I have found this extension worth every penny (I registered it) I have more them several browser apps that REQUIRE Internet Explorer from DVR's to Banking apps, and several business critical applications. With the browser being retired it is a slight issue while Microsoft has pledged the the IE Engine will remain supported through at least 2029 there are several good years left in IE as long as you can still get to it. IE-Tabs is an excellent choice. I have run into some bumps but this little extension is saving me a bunch of headaches. I have also had luck with Edge IE Mode but for ease of use and end of the day results IE-Tab wins hands down. For those reviews claiming it was hard to setup and get to work, they are just plain wrong.

I do business on St. Thomas and use one of the banks on the island. The bank is still using Internet Explorer for its online Cash Management software. I could use Chrome but I would lose some functionality on the site. I downloaded IE Tab and like magic, I'm using IE in Chrome. This is fantastic. I only needed IE for this one site and IE Tab has solved my problems! Thank you!

tremendious grateful too easy use

Works great when it works, I use for personal use, mainly when launching old korean mmorpg's through a browser. Sometimes it keeps giving me a TLS issue when I have in legacy forced for IE8 which should work. I also try on my cell phone and can log in so I know it's not an issue of the game servers. Most of the time a restart works in resetting the browser but sometimes it just will not work and I don't understand why.

Best app for use

Amazing product saves so much headache of remembering what to open in what browser. My employer uses many different web apps and some only work in IE this keeps everything together

Worked previously.. But dissapointed its becoming an payment.

Didn't work for my needs (was looking for a way to open file explorer through Sharepoint on Chrome). May be related to my org policies, but will be uninstalling and continuing to use IE proper for this until I can find another workaround.

I didn't expect a license fee.. kinda disappointing.

Works very well. Especially helpful for viewing Surveillance Camera DVRs. I use it with the pugins that only work on IE.

Only works for me about half the time. Other half it cannot find my internal network and if I use just chrome I can not copy and paste into my application.

I was looking for a quick fix for months while not able to see all my important messages. This extension worked immediately and I have had no issues.

Nice extension but, I could type C:\ and get access to windows explorer then install anydesk so I would suggest fixing it else people could find out and make videos on how to "bypass" firewall on a school chromebook

Great. Works for what we need it to do, Emulates Active X nicely. Those rating it 1 star - give them a break. If the extension does not address your the issue you need the emulator for... its hardly their fault. Figure out a different solution.

Needed to be able to view HikVision DVR Web Frontend. Without this tool you get access but no live camera pictures. Installed the IE Tab and followed the instruction and worked perfectly. I am on latest googe chrome and using latest Hikvision DVR firmware . Managed to fix some CCTV issues remotely so saved time and money as did not have to visit site. Sweet....

Security NVR's live again in Chrome!!!

It use another IP with your my IP. It's like vps and you maybe know all chracter you typing. Be careful. dont use this extension
