LastPass is good until it doesn't work. My current issue is that whenever I click on the share icon, LastPass tells me "ERROR: It looks like your LastPass session has expired. Log in to continue using LastPass." So I log back in and the error continues. I have tried everything, delete cahce, cookies, uninstalled, reinstalled, different browsers, different computers, web version, Chrome extension - nothing fixes it. Using this for work but spening hours on a merry-go-round of disappointment.

Not working

It's great when it works. Over the last 3 months or so, it constantly stops working. Best advice support gives me is to remove the extension, close out all of my browser windows, then re-install it. It gets to be quite annoying having to do it multiple times a week.

This extension mostly works okay, but one thing is really annoying: it seems like the extension constantly resets the auto fill setting. I don't like auto fill, I prefer to manually fill credentials, once I apply this setting in the extension it should *never* revert to autofilling!

Bold move, badly breaking the extension immediately after a major security breach.

Been using LastPass for many years - most recent update is TERRIBLE. Will not find the site I'm on, offers useless options if it offers anything at all. Truly awful. Really hope they see all the bad reviews and roll back to a product that actually worked . . . otherwise I will be searching for alternatives like so many others here.

Just re-upped my LastPass paid subscription, and they promptly broke it. Thanks for nothing, LastPass. I've been a user for more than 8 years. Going to try to cancel my payment now. Guess I'll have to find a replacement. I hate stupidity, and this last update is beyond stupid.

TLDR: The last major update effectively nuked the extension. I'm looking for alternatives now. I've used LastPass for about 8 years now. I used to love it and I pay for the subscription, but over the past few months the extension has stopped working entirely. - When I search for passwords in the extension nothing comes up anymore. Ever. - When I open the "Vault" through the extension I can search for and find accounts, but the "Launch" and "Edit" buttons don't work so I can't see any passwords. - Auto-fill no longer works. - The only way to see passwords now is to login through lastpass.com, search for an account, click "edit" and then show the password. - The mobile version still works most of the time.

I usually don't write reviews but LastPass deserved one. LastPass was great when I started using it 5 years ago. Over time it turned to steaming pile of garbage. Functionality being reduced over time and security breach was not so impactful to me. However my problem started when i tried export my passwords. In short LastPass simply didn't export all my passwords to .cvs file. Not even in the corrupt form that other users reported. Of course, when I saw that the file was generated and populated i deleted the LastPass account (my mistake). Later I realised that I don't have all the passwords and tried to contact the customer service ... In short for free users it does not exist. As evident by recent reviews, LastPass should have taken greater care of the product and less about $.

I've used LastPass for over a decade.. it used to be really good. For months now though it is barely functional.. as you can see from all the recent reviews. They completely broke the service and browser extension and don't seem bothered to fix it. Are they even aware? Who knows.

I had this extension for YEARS but things started going down hill last month when the autofill stopped working and lastpass started showing passwords for amazon when i was trying to log into yahoo and many times they didn't show passwords at all! the latest drama happened yesterday while I was already logged into a page lastpass popped up and asked if I wanted to save this bunch of symbols "������������F���8�" and while on another page it asked if i wanted to save "pjj68pcambbuqb288y6an7v5" as new login. I looked in my vault and all 1000 passwords say AT RISK. i am beginning to think lastpass is now infected malware or still being hacked, I am removing this immediately

Getting about ready to look for an alternative! Functionality gets worse and worse with each update!! Now when you click the extension, doesn't even list the passwords for the website you're on - may list some for other tabs that are open, usually lists Microsoft or Google options if you're already logged in to them on your browser. Click the + button to add new password - instead of opening pop-up with the current website already filled in, it opens the vault - then you have to choose type of new entry - then have to fill in ALL details. Added identities yesterday (since they have never provided an archive function after years of it being requested) - then when I tried to switch, it wouldn't even recognize my Master Password on the Chrome extension. Had to switch to Edge browser for it to recognize my Master Password. This browser extension is useless now!!!!

Super busted with the most recent update to the point where the browser extension doesn't function as an autofill provider. I hope they fix it soon.

Autofill broken entirely in newest update, offering to save random website data, as well as won't fill from correct tab. Garbage.

Recent update must have broken it. No auto-fill, doesn't even recognize any URLs anymore. I've been a subscriber for years, so hopefully devs fix this ASAP, otherwise I'm moving to a product that actually works.

Worked fine until the UI update. Now it's almost completely broken: doesn't recognize sites, doesn't autofill, tells me i'm logging into a new site (i'm not). Can't believe I paid for this trash

Autofill rarely works and since the last update a blank window attached to the extension covers the top right corner of my screen, making it difficult to use some websites

Since the last major update with the new UI I had only problems. This extension has become unusable! I does not recognise websites, asks to add passwords to websites that already have it. If I search for a password, it can't find anything. If I open the vault, none of the items work, I can't click on any buttons. Such a waste of time for something that used to work just fine!

No longer does anything useful at all. Never finds a password for the site I'm on, so autofill never works. If I open the vault and search manually, the passwords are all there, but I can't access them, none of the buttons do anything. Does nobody test this, ever?

Was good but more and more bugy. I think they have to go back to older UI and less bugs else I am out as a paid user.

Worse with every update. I'm still using it only because I paid for another year, but the quality declines rapidly. Does not auto-fill, does not recognize sites etc. Used to be great.

I cant take SMS Passcode to log-in. But can take Passcode to recover Password

Until a few months ago everything went ok, they did an upgrade and since then the autocomplete doesn't work anymore, I get wrong suggestions.... please fix the extension!

This extension used to work great for years, now it's getting unusable. In the past months it shows the wrong sites, autofill doesn't work and it consistently overwrites the wrong passwords. I almost lost my Google password because of that, luckily I had another way of getting it back. LastPass, we have been waiting patiently, but this is getting unacceptable.

LastPass broke this extension recently. It takes it a long time to realize the site that I'm on and provide a password (seconds). If there are more than one password available for a site it's a very long time before I can change from the first password it finds to another one (tens of seconds and/or several page refreshes... I don't even know what eventually makes it work). This is not the password manager to start with right now. This has been going on for weeks and I'm now pissed off enough to leave a negative review. In a few weeks it'll either be fixed or I'll be pissed off enough to make the effort of switching to 1password to give them a whirl.

What has happened to LastPass?! Used to be a quality extension and one that I have been using for years but lately it simply doesn't work correctly. In this latest update nothing seems to autofill as it used to so thought I would log out and back in, says it's sending me a "verification email" but I NEVER get it (even checked spam) so now I can't even login!!! I even tried removing and installing the extension again but no go. Are the LastPass team on holiday or just don't care anymore? I will now have to look for alternatives.

with every update extension and mobile apps are getting worse and worse... Features are broken, removed, security breach in august leaked basically whole vault and we discovered that not everything was encrypted, company is avoiding explanation of if comments were encrypted, so I start asking myself: WHY I should continue using and paying for it if LastPass obviously want to convince me to move to something more reliable and not broken...0 Pity there is no minus one star or at least 0 so nobody waste time and money of this.

Since the update, Lastpass doesn't properly detect what site its on anymore. When you click the extension icon, it just lists a bunch of Google.com logins instead of the actual site you need - completely defeating the purpose of the extension! You now have to manually enter the vault & dig around for the actual site instead of everything being automatic like before.

The autofill in the newest update broke completely... Edit: after reinstalling, it is now fixed.

I can't get into my account to delete it.

Broke in recent updates. The extension used to work prefect and reliable, but recent updates have completely broken it. Now it will periodically get "locked" where I will go to a website and it won't autofill anything and if I open my vault from the extension it won't allow me to view/edit any items. The only way to correct the issue that I have found is by uninstalling and re-installing the extension. So now I need to re-install the extension every few days.

used to work beautifully now its a mess. i dont need the suggestions just the data i want and why is there no right click to see LAst Pass and select the passwords you want? WHERE DID THAT GO the new format to search for an item is ridiculous. honestly i am thinking of leaving after being with LP for decades. what a F**King mess

Used to be alright, after the latest several updates it's slowly become a piece of garbage. Autofill doesn't work anymore, saving doesn't work consistently, new UI is terrible. Not having a working autofill is a deal breaker for me, and coupled with all the latest security breaches I'll be moving a different password manager.

I think this is getting older and dustier, been using this for too long not realizing there's a better option, now after they broke the extension I found a better alternative.

These guys have the worst security on the entire internet. Use literally anything else. A sticky note is better than lastpass

Autofill is NOT working. When it does, it uses the wrong account info. Extension in the top right shows sites that are NOT for the page I am on, and sometimes does not work to search them. Alt+Pg Up and Pg Down no longer cycle through available passwords. What's going on?

For weeks now, it fails to log in on Chrome, but works fine on Firefox...

Used to be great. Then they got hacked about 3 months ago and didn't tell us. Not to mention, for the last 3-6 months the tool has been buggy as hell. I can access on my windows machines and phones, but is not working AT ALL on Mac. I've reinstalled multiple times which used to work for issues like this but now not even that will work. Just thinks forever gives an error saying "An Unknown Error Occurred" STAY AWAY. A password manager's ONE job is to stay secure. If they can't do that, and they don't work.. Then why would you buy from them. I've already bought the full year and all my info has likely already been stolen so I guess I'm stuck. But by now there are a ton of good password managers on the market and most devices have a built in option. Probably best to use those. I might slowly start my migration over to them.

Works fine for the most part. I've had an issue in the past where it wouldn't load the screen after clicking the extension logo to find a password or open the vault. That doesn't seem to happening anymore since the latest update.

The latest update makes it unusable. It doesn't fill, and clicking on the extention always shows logins for google.com instead of site I'm on.

The new updated UX for the Chrome extension is awful. How this update ever got approval for wider deployment to the Chrome store is a mystery. Please roll back the recent changes and save your paying customer base before we leave. Also please investigate your QA processes and consider firing whoever was stupid enough to assert that this new update was a good idea.

They need to roll back the latest update, it suggests passwords for the wrong pages now and can't even fill it in half the time.

WHAT HAPPEND???, USED TO BE SUCH A GOOD APPLICATION. NOW ITS ACTS LIKE A DATA COLLECTION SPAM APPLICATION. I CANT EVEN DISABLE OPTION NOT TO REMEMBER PAYMENT METHOD OR FORM FIELD. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

With the latest version, they've removed IDENTITIES from the extension. LastPass is going down like Google: making things worse and worse with every update. DO NOT UPDATE to the latest extension and be prepared TO CANCEL your LP subscription for a better service with a better Chromebook extension.

Worked on and off for several years. No customer support unless you're paying. Ways to fix no longer work. I have many many passwords saved to this site. I'll have to start paying.

Lots of money and time wasted for such a big security leak

very bad experience with these extensions, every day I need to add a password and it's not working and today it shows your account is Temporarily Locked

not sure if this extensions is created by last pass or by those that hacked last pass. now it works so bad, autofill not showing correctly - need to manually copy pass/users. accounts not showing while on a page, need to search in vault for those. so many bugs lately, maybe google should remove it completely

I can't come to any other conclusion but that Last Pass is intentionally making their product worse with every release over the last few years. Remember when you used to be able to dig down through lists of categories like shopping, travel, banking, business, etc? And then you could open one of those lists to see all of the accounts you had saved under it? Why did that go away? Now you can't get to an account unless you remember the name of it.

This extension constantly crushes my browser when opening the vault page. It's barely usable.

The autofill and vault keeps breaking. I have to reinstall at least twice a week. This was clearly released untested. Update: To fix what they broke, go and change these settings and it should start working again (found this on Reddit) Open my vault -> Advanced Options -> Use improved save and fill -> Turn off

Used to be really good and now absolutely subpar. Have to reinstall it numerous times, does not autofill anymore, same with logging into the vault, can't launch from the vault or edit anything. When I export my data to upload to another password manager as I've had enough of these issues, it exports literally 10 items and can't figure out how to get all the others added. Plus they've been breached as well so best to jump ship to a more secure pwd manager.

Stops working once a week and I have to re-install it. If you don't love that...how about the security issues? Expect once a year for there to be a major security breach.

Recent updates to the extension have made it completely useless! Search doesn't work properly, can't find passwords that exist... and if you open the full vault and unlock for a period, the search bar has its own mind. Awful. Please revert all recent changes

For about a month this has been awful. It can't save a password and has an error and I have to do it via the vault. To leave this review I signed in using lastpass and it got the username and on the password screen prompted me with the password for another account and then asked me if i wanted to update my account. A month ago I had never had a problem with this. Recently it is not saving any time at all and in fact wasting it.

Use to be good before they rebuilt it recently. Been crashing my browser for the last few weeks. I even reinstalled it. There's some things they removed from the old version, like if you want to create a new account on the same site, the extension will only give you the option to update existing account in LP. So you just filled in a password, and your stuck updating and screwing up the exisitng account or having to do a PW reset. Some sites wont autofill with the LP buttons in the UN & PW fields, and you use to be able to be able to just go up to the extension and pick which one you wanted and it would autofill. Now if you do that, it will open a new tab with the site and try to fill it.

your developers suck, the new version is like trash and made me want to stop using LastPass, how can you can be that dumb to release such aweful version?

New Update is killing this company everything was working okay until recent updates have F'ed everything up. My dad who is in his 60's used to be able to use it, now I have to help him use this software every time. HORRIBLE. This is scary because I depended on this but I realized this is not the way store my passwords anymore. jumping ship.

I've got this extension page bookmarked. Not because I love it so much but because I find myself having to remove and reinstall it at least 2-3 times per week on each of my computers. It works for a day or two, then suddenly you open your browser and it's like the movie Groundhog Day... you start over as if LastPass has no passwords stored for your common sites. Remove the extension from Chrome, re-add the Chrome extension and then sign into LastPass and it's back again. I contacted LastPass support about the issue a good month ago as a number of my IT clients are also using it on my prior recommendation and they are ALL contacting me frequently venting their frustrations with this same issue! Still no change or fix so I'm ready to jump ship and dump the LastPass clown show at this point. Given their prior security incidents, I figured this company would be extra vigilant and really trying to up their game but they seem to have misplace the ball completely.

WOW it used to work mostly ok but the plugin is now broken in chrome (stops matching passwords to websites), looks like others are having the same issue. This has been going on for some time, and is still not fixed. Wow.

When it works, it's not great, but usually it's just broken in so many ways. Use Bitwarden instead.

Extension breaks every day forcing me to delete and re-download the entire program. Every. Morning. It completely overrides a lot of our carriers passwords incorrectly causing us to get locked out of websites on a daily basis. I understand its a free service which is why I strongly dislike and not hate it - unfortunately.

What a Disaster! I've had LP for years for personal use and then brought it to my business. Then the bottom fell out. The security breach(es) were bad enough. The chrome extension is unusable - what happened. Did everyone quit at LP? The only reason I'm still in is because of the effort to get out!

If You Use LastPass, Change All of Your Passwords ASAP It's time to start looking for a different password manager after the latest LastPass data breach. Latest #LastPass breach may be worse than you think. Attacker didn't just get encrypted passwords. They got unencrypted URLs. Think: URLs with account tokens, API keys & credentials, etc... The data breaches LastPass suffered in August and November 2022 resulted in confidential customer information being compromised.LastPass has had security issues in the past, but this latest breach, which was more fully disclosed by LastPass on December 22, 2022, is far more pervasive in nature because it included sensitive user information and password vault data.

I've used LastPass for so many years and pay for the premium subscription so I can use it with my team. This last update completely broke it despite me trying every trick in the book to get it working...Advanced settings > Fix problems, Refreshing sites, disabling and re-enabling the extension, removing completely and re-installing, Logging out then back in then combinations of the above. Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling will work...but only for a few days at maximum, then I have to go through the same procedure again. The worst part is this has remained unfixed for many weeks with no attempt to resolve the issue, no workarounds suggested, nothing from LastPass. I'm on the verge of migrating our passwords to another platform. Such a shame, LastPass was the clear leader for so long.

The performance of the Extension has really degraded. I need to sign in at least once a day even when checking the 30 day remember box. I cannot recommend this, and will be moving my passwords to another service.

Gone downhill recently Used to work very well, now it's a seemingly coinflip if it works at all. Constantly asks to re-authenticate. When I'm authenticated, passwords either won't load or auto fill.

I have used LastPass and been a paying premium member for years. It was fantastic. Now, they've had two, I think two major security breaches. This is a problem. I changed all of my important passwords and my main password and continued using LastPass. Lately, for at least the past few weeks the browser extensions and vault are simply is not working. I am unable to auto fill anything for days on end. Then it will start working, then it stops. I used to be able to access the Vault and copy and past usernames and passwords from Microsoft Edge. Now even that stopped. Essentially I'm locked out of everything. It is still working on my iPhone, but I don't run my business on an iPhone. This issue has been going on for so long, it's inexcusable. I'm searching for a replacement. Much of my sensitive data is already on the darkweb, and now LastPass has provided even more of it. And the app is completely broken.

More features = more problems. The LastPass team keeps adding more bells and whistles. Buttons are getting more bubbly and now LastPass pops up on every form whether or not it's a password. More is not better and I'll likely be switching to a different password manager that is not as pushy soon.

It used to be ok but now the extension just sits there and does nothing. It never ever works properly. It never fills up anything even if you click on the extension. When you open the vault, it won't let you edit nor launch. The entire thing is useless now. Total disgrace

Disabling the Cross-Platform feature for free users was not a good move, I've moved to Bitwarden and it's awesome and supports importing my data from many other password keepers. If I ever get rich I would buy lastpass regardless of anything. (Free Bitwarden = Paid Lastpass)

LastPass service is great, but browser extension degraded significantly since last major update.

New version was not usable at all until I uninstalled it, updated Chrome and reinstalled it. This kind of issue should not happen, or at least users should be informed if they have to take specific steps in order to be able to use it again. I may look for a more robust alternative if it happens again.

What happened with this latest release of the Lastpass extension. It's as if all their javascript knowledge from the last extension was completely lost. I am considering moving my premium subscription due to such a poor experience I now have with the new extension. 1. No search option when accessing via the in-field icon.... 2.90% of sites that used to work fine now can't fill in either username or pw or simply aren't recognized as fields to be filled in. 3. The copy pw in main extension dropdown is weirdly not that reliable at actually putting the value in the clipboard to name just a few hates.

Anonymous called, they were hoping to also get the encryption keys to make a little easier to open your customers vaults. If not, no problem. They'll just brute force them. Or they'll just set up phishing scams to get your customers to give them the passwords since they now know what web sites were in the vault. Thanks for nothing!

I'm experiencing the same as many people have recently reported; constantly nagged by this extension to save information that has nothing to do with passwords, such as name, address, PO Box, and pretty much any information I enter on any form. As I do a lot of online forms for my work, this is becoming a major disruption. Well, that was ok for a while. On to the next one I guess.

FIXED! The extension was also completely useless for me until I did the following 1. Uninstall lastpass extension 2. Update chrome (go to chrome://settings/help and scroll down to see if you're up-to-date or need to update) 3. Reinstall lastpass extension and login Hope this helps. I was looking for other password managers because it was not usable after the update.

Appears broken in latest release. First, it never worked well with Brave. I had to switch to Chrome and I'm still having issues. It's clear from the reviews that LastPass released a buggy version recently and PO'd a lot of users, myself included. The lookup feature never works. The extension frequently does not recognize a site match. It incorrectly pops up with an "Add to LastPass" prompt just after logging in with Last Pass. It also fails to update after changing a password. When I edit a password, I have to copy, open the vault, edit the site then paste the password.

FIXED! But you gotta do the work. Here goes: Since the last update, my Last Pass was broken just like it said in all the reviews below. 1. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Last Pass extension. It was still broken. 2. But then I also updated Chrome (because automatic update had failed → go to chrome://settings/help and scroll down to see if you're up-to-date or need to update). 3. When I relaunched the updated Chrome, Last Pass extension was back to working normally.

The latest update is horrible, just horrible! I'm actively pursuing alternates. How can I trust my passwords to a company that would release an extension with so many problems. One has to question if the back-end systems are just as poorly built and tested.

The latest update is a tragic and full of bugs... 1. Copy Password not acting as expected, the value just don't get into my clipbord, so I have to "edit" the password then copy value from vault directly. 2. When clicking on the account from extension, it used to auto fill the username password, but now it just opens a new tab to the website and still not fill in! 2. When clicking "Add password" and insert username with my email address, it changes to update password! I didn't notice that at first place, so I let the extension change my email password unexpectedly.

Used to be solid, all the UI updates recently have removed functionality, added popups in the middle of pages that won't clear, made the app buttons behave strangely and made it more cumbersome. This with Lastpass' recent security breaches have me considering looking at alternatives.A

Please undo these "Updates" to the extension since they do not work! On a website trying to look up a payment card is now impossible. Going to the vault is also useless since after clicking the payment card type i am met with all of my folders that do not have any payment cards listed.

This used to be a good extension. Since they've "updated" it, usernames and passwords don't fill correctly anymore. Now I have to copy and paste each one separately which makes it a real pain.

Chrome extension is junk... Right now, Lastpass simply isn't working in-browser. It's been days now - we all expect bugs to crop up, but this is abysmal. Exploring migrating elsewhere, with better security and a more robust solution.

The newest version of lastpass is terrible. Literally unusable. Please bring back to old version.

LastPass lied to people about how secure they are, and what they encrypt. Not to mention their UI and UX, it is old and bad, difficult to use, and doesn't help people, just immagine adding same password for multiple urls (very complicated equivalent domains UI), also the URL Rules for url matching, also bad UI. They are updating it now after it is over, I already moved to a better solution.

The latest update - especially "improved save and fill" is horrible - I'm constantly nag'd to save a password for non password fields - turning off the improved save and fill solves this, but it's temporary. as it turns back on within a day or two - tried a couple cookie related fixes to no avail.

It used to work great. But LastPass updated the extension and now it doesn't work half the time. Sometimes it fails to recognize the website or login page and it will not fill in the username and password. Sometimes it asks to save the same exact username and password to a website that's already in the vault. Another annoyance is now asks me to save contact details everytime I enter a name, phone number, email, mailing address, or a credit card number. Sorry but I didn't download password extension to save contact details like that. Chrome itself does this perfectly fine. This latest update is terrible.

This lastest breach was the last straw. They withheld a major security incident for months and when they finally came out with it, the information left more questions than answers. The support was a joke and reading their usual script. The security was a joke all along. We had Yubikeys in place thinking it made our info secure. Turned out that was a joke as well. It's clear they put shareholders first and customer security last. Now we know where the name lastpass came from. Buh bye

I only am leaving it installed because I can shortcut to my vault. otherwise the new updates are 100% useless. Great job guys.

Someone in the team forgot about the term "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". The new plugin is really not working. It disables things on the website, it doesn't actually fill passwords (it's main function). It's worse in pretty much every way. Please just restore it to what it was. That worked well enough!

Sure, this extension had its bugs, but now its just plain irritating to use and next to useless.

I always loved it and gave it 5 stars, until the last update. It's just plain broken now. It loses passwords, saves them to the wrong account, broke searching, etc. Bugs in it have made me have to reset two accounts in just the last week. I've been a LastPass subscriber for 5 years, but it's now unusable and I'm looking for a viable alternative.

LastPass used to work fine (I use it on Chrome) but it is TERRIBLE now. Buggy and does not work. I've removed and reloaded it more times than I can count and LastPass support is almost nonexistent. Terrible, terrible, terrible...

Man this extension is TERRIBLE now! The whole reason I chose LastPass was because I liked the extension. Bring the old extension back! This new one is buggy as heck, always asking me to update a password when I never typed a password in. The most annoying thing is autofill only works like 1 out of 10 times now and when you click on the extension to copy and paste the password, it doesn't work. I have to open my vault and search for the password and manually copy and paste it. I use this extension on dozens of computers in my business and they're all buggy so it's not my computer. I didn't want to have to move away from LastPass but this buggy extension makes me want to leave way more than any security breach ever will.

Wow didn't think they could make it worse but they managed to do it, bravo! Constantly asks me now if I want to remember passwords and account its already has.

What the heck happened, the new extension doesn't even work, can't use it to access any of my passwords and on top of that the vault doesn't seem to work properly in a chrome tab. USELESS.

Was excellent. Latest update ruined a great password manager plugin. You can no longer search the vault in the plugin. Now you have to open the vault to access the passwords. This needs to be reverted back to the previous version. What is worse is I just found out Lastpass had a data breach. What a shame it was great for about 2 years.

New Chrome extension is absolutely horrible - please revert back to the old version

4.108.0 appeared this morning when Chrome auto-updated extensions. Same old story. "Log out after this many minutes of inactivity" was cleared on update. And visual appearance of my vault was changed to the tiled view LastPass seems to this is neato, and not left at list view that I always set.... Still negative stars, in my view, and getting worse. 4.107.1 dropped this morning (25 Jan 2023). Once again, the setting "Log out after this many minutes of inactivity" was cleared on update. Why should I need to re-check all of my settings with every update? Recent update to 4.107.0 changed my account settings to less secure than what I have had set for years. The setting to remember my master password was turned on in the update. I have NEVER had that setting turned on. That setting, in turn, cleared my settings to automatically log out when all browsers are closed and to automatically log out after 4 minutes of inactivity (the former being necessary to make the latter work at all, as we've learned from previous updates that broke the latter). Above breakage is on MacOS, but not on ChromeOS. Negative stars is a better rating for this, but that's not possible. Broken on MacOS again. 4.51.0 is ignoring my setting to log out of LastPass after a few minutes (though it works fine on my ChromeBook). This is getting tiresome. Why is it that this can be fixed, then broken, then fixed, then broken...? I like this extension a lot, but I'm giving it one star for repeatedly botching updates. The latest version (4.41.0) is ignoring some of my settings again. In particular, the setting to log out of LastPass after some minutes (I use 5min) of inactivity is ignored. As others have said, this is a basic security issue, as it leaves me logged in forever unless I remember to log out manually.

New Extension is a step backward

I've used LastPass for years both for my family and my small business (12 employees). It has worked very well up until this last week when everything stopped working completely; no autofill, can't log into the vault, etc. It has become completely useless. Even worse than useless because we relied on LastPass within our business so now our IT is scrambling to find a solution. This recent issue has caused us significant loss in man hours and frustration. I WOULD NOT DOWNLOAD LASTPASS.

I was pissed at LastPass because it wasn't matching subdomains properly before, but now it's gotten worse. Gotta look for an alternative...

Can't believe what they are doing to Lastpass, broken in Firefox and Chrome - If it's not fixed in 7 days, I'm leaving my paid plan! Looks like they are on self destruct as a company!

I can't believe they lost everyones vaults, then didn't disclose it in a timely matter, and downplayed the issue. Not a trustworthy service. Their tech has also lagged behind others. Since their disaster of an breach I've been trying competitors and they have caught up or are better than LastPass now IMO.

The new version of this add on is absolute garbage! We use Lastpass for business and it does not work correctly, it is glitchy, passwords do not update correctly, search does not work. This needs to be rectified quickly else myself and thousands of others will be finding a new solution

LastPass was an Extension that I've used for years and even kept using it after converting to the Paid Plan. That said, they made a recent "Product Update" that is TERRIBLE and it going to make me churn as a user unless they revert it. I don't know if they tested this UX with users or did any QA or anything, but the "update" has made me absolutely hate this tool. It attaches itself to random input boxes, I can't search for the passwords to use on a page anymore nor can I search for global passwords to use, it doesn't show my most used password on the top for a given website. PLEASE revert the change because if it isn't reverted within the next week then I'll be finding a new solution.

I had been using the Chrome extension for years with only minor gripes. The update seems to offer nothing new apart from a different look and spotty functionality. Like many others, I discovered that the search function within the extension had stopped working. I removed and reinstalled the extension. This worked for no more than a few days. I am back to not being able to use search. The pop up search returns the last functioning list of results regardless of what I type in. Today, the extension's pop up just stopped working meaning I could not even search my vault in a full tab. I've discovered at least one saved entry that has just been cleared out. I suspect this is due to a flaw in the re-encryption of my vault...which I only kicked off because changing my master password was prudent given the recent data breach. Just...disappointing and absolutely unnecessary behavior from a tool I've used (and paid for) without issue for many years.

Lastpass used to be great with a few small errors. However, the newest version is full of serious errors. One error already lead to me overwriting one of my passwords causing a headache of trying to recover that password. The error was that when I tried to create a new passsword for a website, I entered my email into the username field, but lastpass detected that this username was used for a different website and so it switched from "create a new password" to "update password" for the other website (which is horrible programming). I hit save before realizing that lastpass had switched to update password and thus I overwrote a password on a different website rather than creating a new password. And many features work only intermittently. Also, they have removed really useful features such as the ability to quickly copy a password. I can't believe this update got released in this broken state. When we pay for something as important as saving passwords this level of a broken app is unacceptable.

What an irony. They just decided to give their extension a facelift, making it almost unusable. You can't search for a password for a site from the extension now. You must open the vault, edit, make the password visible and copy. You can't copy the password from the extension at times, even if the password required is for the site on the tab. LastPass, are you listening? Are your developers using this extension at all? Edit: The extension is updated again. Search for credentials not matching the active domain works now. I'll update about the reliability issues in a day or two.

The new update made it so lastpass always assumes you want to add a password for the site you're currently on without giving you the ability to actually change this without actually opening the lastpass vault and manually adding from there. You also can't add 2 passwords in 2 different tabs at once now. Both of these changes have made it very cumbersome to work with Lastpass as I'm adding passwords constantly for work. They really ruined a good thing here. Edit - It looks like Lastpass updated again and it no longer assumes you're adding a password for the site you're on. It also allows me to add 2 passwords at once. These were my biggest issues. Thanks for rectifying these.

If you're a competitor to these guys they are the gift that just keeps giving. At this point I can't imagine that there isn't someone from the inside trying to intentionally destroy and sabotage this company. Data breaches, bad code launches, horrible response and customer service. This need to be a case study on how to destroy a good product brand.

I went to right click>copy password. I can't do that because they decided to update it. Of course, the people in charge of updating it clearly don't actually use it. Guess the years of use I had from this are at an end.

Since LastPass was acquired by LogMeIn it has gone continuously downhill. Price keeps going up without any major features being added and then they go and completely mess up the chrome extension. It now can't find passwords that are in my vault and sometimes the username and password won't show, even though its in my vault. What a complete mess this extension upgrade has been. I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling to get access to passwords. ROLL IT BACK!!!

Well...what everyone else is saying! Recently revised chrome extension is HORRIBLE. I've had Lastpass for years & until recently was reasonably happy. They should rollback to prior asap and spend more time on this redesign before they make us all use it.

There are a few short and simple reasons you should not use lastpass: 1. They lost many customer's passwords in a breach 2. Their communication to customers about how bad the breach was and what you can do to protect yourself was pathetic. They even resorted to blaming their customers 3. The root cause of how they got breached is poor leadership. Really sad to see the direction this service went... The handling of the data breach was way too slow, and the quality of the help was mediocre. The timing for this new UI is awful, and the UX was probably designed in a week without tests... Going to 1password after years being a client of LastPass...

Never seen a company so determined to destroy it's own reputation as this one. Not only are they experiencing new data breaches every other week and month, now every simple update is soooo bug ridden that the product is barely usable. Will surely not be renewing with these guys.

The redesign has totally broken this product and made it unusable. Some highlights: Huge lag. If you use it once, it can take 30 seconds for it to work again, sometimes longer! The performance hit is massive and real and makes it unusable. You can't even manage your vault anymore because it takes 30-120 seconds to manipulate individual items. Its insane. The password generation no longer allows you to see your password history. This is a huge problem because most SSO sites bounce you to a new domain to do password changes. So you start on Domain A, go to Domain B to reset password, password is generated and tagged against that obscure domain, you bounce to Domain A and your password is not there. Before you could just load your history, grab it, and assign. Now you actually have no access to it unless you happened to save it against the new domain. The UX is pretty but its like an entirely new product. I'm beginning the migration to 1password.

This browser extension is like a personal butler for your passwords. It saves all your login info and automatically fills it in for you, so you can stop using "password123" for everything. It's a real lifesaver. But, let me tell you, their recent update kind of missed the mark. It's not the most user-friendly thing in the world. It's like they tried to make it fancy but ended up making it more confusing. But hey, I'm sure they'll fix it up soon. In the meantime, just remember to take deep breaths and keep your passwords safe!

New redesign is terrible, so many more clicks to get things done. Constantly need to use the edit function that opens a new tab each time. Autofill has always been unrealible, but seems worse now. Search seems to now be mostly broken, very difficult to find what your after, plus the ordering seems to somehow have changed. Not sure how this was approved to be released in its current state, should have been optional. Think it time to move to a different product, espically with the latest data breaches.

It works okay in principle. But it often fails to automatically fill the password. Even on big sites like Paypal. And the worst thing about it is its Android companion app. The autofill there has been broken for years and they are not fixing it. It works there 20% of the time. Because of this reason I have stopped recommending this product. Update January 2023: the new update also broken that the correct website is shown when you click on the logo. So in the very common case where the autofill is broken (even on popular sites like Amazon) you can't even easily find the matching website any more. The "all revlevant" Passwords tab just stays empty. It briefly worked last week and now it's broken again. It gets worse and worse! I would give negative stars if I could.

The quality has been degrading for the last years since being acquired. It's no longer the password manager for anyone. It got very commercial and the development feels uninspired and unsupported. There's plenty of other comments about the problems with the last update, but I'd like to add that besides any personal opinion on "looking prettier", it's critical for me that it does not respect the dark mode setting (the system's the browser's, dark reader's...). The visual update makes me unable to use it due to vision problems with contrast. Tip: in the Vault: Advanced Options > Use advanced save and fill -> disable

god awful after latest update. it used to take about 10 seconds for the browser extension to load, which was already bad, now it takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. unusable when you work in an environment that frequently needs access to different accounts in a short time span.

After many years of using this manager, I am very upset! I am use to the local list of sites and the ability to use a mouse to get to where I need to go. Now I have to either do a search which is not and has never really worked correctly, or go online to my vault which I've never had to do! What a complete screw up for your loyal customers!

Their recently updated chrome extension is broken beyond belief and completely un-usable (just read the recent reviews here). I talked with customer service and they are aware of the issues, do not care and do not have any plans of fixing it in the future. The plus side is they make it easy to export your passwords to switch to another password manager. The fact that the engineers let this slip into production tells me that they clearly have no QA or testing process, which leads me to question their competence when it comes to following security best practices as well

Sure getting tired of the LastPass extension. When trying to open it from the browser, all I get is the spinning vault. Removing and reinstalling makes it work for a day or two and then the same thing happens again. Why can't you get this right, LastPass? This extension has been having major issues for months now.

Latest update horrible. I have NEVER liked the "launch" link in the main vault view, and now it has polluted the extension pull-down too. My browser can do its own launching, I never go to lastpass first and then use that to launch the web site, that's a totally broken workflow. Now where I used to have a manual "FILL" button, it's "launch" instead. Which reloads the site I'm already on. I'm already on the site, and the extension recognises this, and offers me in its pulldown a way to LAUNCH the site it's just determined I'm already on!! Who on EARTH came up with this??? It's also failing to function for a lot more web sites now in Chrome. And will sometimes freeze for 30 seconds or more.

Oof, been a lastpass user for ~5 years now and this latest update is a travesty lol. Almost every feature is broken on Chrome and password filling downright doesn't work. Yall need to rollback this update ASAP before you tank your reviews and lose your customer base. Little software engineering tip for you guys: momentum is important and functionality is ultimately more important than aesthetics; if you change something that has a potential for breaks, it better be a BIG improvement. Don't be afraid to roll back bad updates. Last update removed the search feature from the input field dialog, making it extremely hard to find the correct password in many cases. I don't understand why this super useful feature was removed, as without it, handling becomes a real pain. Trying to figure out how to downgrade this extension now.

Current plugin version is not working correctly. Under Vault / Advanced options you can turn off "Use improved save and fill", that will fix most of the problems with the new version, not being able to search the vault and auto fill issues. Every time you restart chrome this options has to be turned off again. This last version also dos not save under plugin options entered time under "Log out after this many minutes of inactivity" and when entered and saved, restarts Chrome browser. Please fix at least the issues with not saving changed options under Vault and chrome plugin.

I am one of the earliest LastPass adopters, but if they do not fix this last release, I'll look for an alternative. It no longer fills payment card information. If I want to enter a credit card, I have to search for it, edit, then copy and paste. Horrible. Couple this with their recent security breaches and this is quickly becoming an inferior product at a premium price. If they had just left it alone, I would have been pretty happy. Up until the recent update, I would give it four stars only because there are the occasional glitches. But now it is just plain awful. I hope fixes or a rollback will be rolling out ASAP.

I have used the browser extension for years. With the update today, I can no longer search for my logins. Since I have many logins for the same site this is really frustrating. Why would you get rid of search? This seems like you intentionally made the product worse which I cannot understand why you would remove a valuable feature.

Before the Chrome extension update, this was a tool that I relied on to get through the many activities of my day (when it comes to accessing online tools). The new update has rendered LastPass virtually unusable. No suggested autofill options appear 95% of the time. Once, I shut my browser and all of my (many) tabs and upon re-opening it, it began to work. That was only once. Otherwise, I have had to uninstall and re-install the LastPass Chrome extension in order to function. I will likely have to switch to a LastPass competitor if this is not fixed in the next couple of days.

The old version just worked, with the new version auto fill doesn't work sometimes and the vault shows as empty in the extension but everything online is there. Totally useless, I need to keep removing it from chrome and re-installing it for everything to show up (logging out and back in again doesn't fix it). Between this and the data breach I am saying goodbye to lastpass.

Another app/plug-in doing an update and completely trashing their product. Its glitchy has hell, requires constant logout/logins or even remove/install cycles to keep it working. On top of that they took away functionality. This is how you get people to switch to another provider.

the new update is ... not ok. there are fields that are small like: quantity inputs, CVV (on card payments), street number (no. field) where the extension pops up and you can't select the field at all so you can fill it! It's stupidious! They broke a very good working extension and integration for the sake of some new paint! I have used the updated extension on Chrome and Edge. After some time using it, it always becomes corrupted. The vault cannot be searched from the pinned icon. It cannot display the options to copy the username or password for items, the context menu does not display this. Once this happens it needs to be removed and reinstalled. I will be looking for another program if this is not fixed by the end of January.

Used to be great. The UI changes in version 4.107.0 ruined it. Its now much slower to navigate. I don't need the plugin to have all the features of the app. If I wanted that I'd use the app. I want the plugin to remain simple and streamlined. It used to be so streamlined I would always open up a browser to interact with my account. Now its an over-engineered chore to use. It now hides all your passwords if the url doesn't match up EXACTLY which means you will be more searching. The widget is also way larger now instead of the simple and clean dropdown menu.

The latest update makes the extension unusable. It's impossible to copy a username or password from from the toolbar icon if you're on a webpage in your LastPass vault, searching from toolbar icon stops working after trying to copy username or password, and LastPass stops responding after editing a site or updating your account settings. I've been using and paying for LastPass since 2011. In that time, LogMein trippled the price, has been hacked at least twice, and finally broke the extension. We use 1Password at work and they give us free family subscription for personal use. it's time for a switch.

As others are reporting, the extension has now become UTTERLY USELESS after the most recent update. I'd also like to note that EVERY experience I've ever had with customer service has been dissatisfactory and did not resolve the issue. DO NOT buy premium, it is a waste of money. At this point, they should pay us to test their shoddy software. Apparently their devs can't be bothered to ship functional code or test properly. GARBAGE. I'm switching to 1password.

Recent update is terrible. Like others mentioned, this last update has caused a lot of issues. Fortunately, for me, these issues were resolved in Chrome by un/reinstalling. It sounds like others are still having trouble, so hopefully the LP team resolves these quickly!

Old version was not perfect, but good. It was a big reason why I used Lastpass over Bitwarden / KeePassXC / 1password (the other reason was the mobile app). The new version of the browser extension is horrible. I kept using the old one for as long as possible, but now the new one is here and I'll switch to a different password manager.

The latest update removes the ability to launch a page by pressing Return, you have to hit Tab _four times_ just to launch a page. Usability has always been an exercise in patience but this is the last straw. I'm moving me and my family out.

Chrome plugin is completely worthless since the latest update. Please revert back to the previous version! Plugin is now completely unusable and full of bugs. They removed essential features, such as the ability to to search passwords on a per-site basis.

WAS the bees knees but the extension was recently changed. The new extension is clunky and doesn't seem to work quite right. A lot of the features and simple things that were great about the old extension have been removed and now it is left with a cartoony basic feel. NOT A FAN OF THE CHANGE!!!

Seems like LastPass is joining Elon's Twitter in a speed run to lose customers. The Chrome plug-in is now useless to go along with LastPass/LogMeIn's security policies.

Not sure what LastPass is trying to achieve anymore - after losing all password vaults to hackers they push an update to make the extension UI unusable and look like we are back in the 1980's. I'll take the hint that everyone should simply switch to BitWarden

Stuck at the safe with the rotating handle. All of my URLs and bookmarks are in there and I can't get to them. I've been hesitant to switch away from LastPass to another program because I finally got my family using it ... but if LastPass keeps making these horrible browser extensions, they might make me change my mind.

The lastest update, version 4.105 is absolutely the worst update to ever come to lastpass. It's buggy, it's sluggish, it's unresponsive, and it took a good working application and broke it. Tried installing an older version and it resolved all the issues however.... it auto updates back to 4.105 and auto updates can't be disabled. You guys need a hotfix update, BAD.

Long term user - first time complainer! The update has made copy/pasting details stop working, this is the latest in a long line of buggy behaviour. This really is not good enough, especially how important this product is to people!

This recent update was the worst I've ever experience as a user or LastPass for over 8 years (paid user for over half that). It's functionally broke on most sites. I can't really comment on the UI changes, b/c of the broken functionality. Please just revert back to the previous release until you do a reasonable job of testing the new extension. Really disappointing.

The recent update has been terrible. The LP icon appears in search and name fields randomly. It's showing my password in some instances, which is particularly awful for me as I take a lot of screenshots. The settings feature to disable for certain URLs is NOT working. This has been such a colossal mess of an update, that you guys seriously need to think about rolling it back. The product worked very well for me before, with the only issues being things like not being able to change the sort order in the selector, or the update password popup appearing randomly (now it happens extremely frequently). Those only needed minor patches. A major UX update is fine, but the kinds of bugs I'm seeing aren't a result of rolling out at scale. These were missed in QA. Maybe implement a beta program so that you can test in real world situations, because I'm encountering bad behavior across a wide variety of websites. All my passwords are in this app, so this has put a serious drag on all aspects of my internet and work life.

These latest update is extremely annoying. It no longer fills in additional form fields so things like AWS console where you need your Account ID as well as username and password no longer get filled in properly. I expect this is a problem on any website that has additional fields during login. Editing the custom fields either doesn't save them, or has no effect on autofill.

What has happened? It's suddenly become really awful from really great. Clicking on edit from the extension drop down menu used to open the record window for viewing or editing instantly. Now it opens a new tab instead and slowly opens the Lastpass vault which then does not display the record you want to view or edit needing for it to be searched again. Very poor.

Now it's putting their plugin button on fields where it doesn't belong, it doesn't fill in custom fields beyond the username and password that it should and used to, and it just overall performs considerably worse than it did on Nov 28th.

Something is very wrong with the extension after the recent updates. It looks bad, but that is not the main problem. It stopped functioning on some websites.

It never knows what page it's on. Usability isn't great if you have to refresh the page a few times before it realises you're not on the page you were previously.

Ever since the new update recently, the extension is slower than ever to open or respond. Revert it back to what it was. Sometimes cosmetic features are not always better. It needs to be practical not pretty.

They're pushing a new update gradually, and it is terrible! Stay away until they get they sh* together. It's very unreliable now, annoying, and even breaks websites for me as a developer (shows na invisible html block on top of the website for some reason). Been paying for it for many years, but this is the last straw, looking for other options, unfortunately.

As of today, the extension is broken. It shows a blank window and you cannot interact with anything in your vault. You'll need to uninstall and reinstall the extension to get it working.

I used to love this extension but for the past year or so I keep having to uninstall and reinstall once a week or two because the browser extension simply stops working in Chrome. All it does when I try to open my vault is show me an animation of a spinning vault wheel that just spins and spins and goes nowhere. Nothing happens when I click it. After reinstallation it works for a week or so, then it returns to the uncooperative spinning wheel. Seriously considering switching to another pw manager. Another thing is that the lastpass website is a disaster on mobile. It's rendering all screwed up and is a nightmare to use. Pay for using it on more than one device, you say? Why would I want to pay for something that doesn't even work right on the device where I'm already using it? If they fix these problems I will come back and adjust my rating, but since this has been going on for a long time now, I don't hold out much hope.

Last update broke autofill completely.

We used to love lastpass now this most recent update has made it useless. Items are not registering for logins making it more manual to search in the vault instead of being able to use the extension.

LastPass seem to be hell-bent on making this service and plugin increasingly frustrating or useless with every iteration. I see now that being able to search for entries within the field popup has now disappeared. Why? I'm the admin of an enterprise account and some of the entries we have stored are for services where we have multiple accounts we manage for clients. Having to scroll through a list of dozens of entries is pointless. Why take the search away? And don't get me started on the absolute mess they're making of user and role management! Sack all the idiot MBAs making your business decisions and start listening to your PAYING customers!

the LP extension used to work like a charm... until recent updates which krippled it completely and making it useless. As others have reported, you try to open your vault now in the Chrome browser and all you get is a spinning vault wheel that never completes.. When you're lucky and the vault open, trying to search your vault end-up with the same spinning wheel... I keep it only because of the mobile app integration that still works fine, but the browser extension is useless by now.

- Wants to keep saving my already saved credentials. - Does not autofill forms, however, the setting is turned on. - Once I copied the login ID and the password from LastPass' list to a form and logged in, it pops up if I would like to save the credentials. - Cannot launch anything from my Vault, the UI does nothing.

Even editing in Chrome leaves you with a really irritating piece of software, constantly appearing and reappearing and with an Icon that apparently cannot be removed. Not a pleasant experience. I need to find another password manager.

Buggy and unreliable. First it logged out and refused me to login with old password making me think that I have forgotten password. After password change and reset it have re-encrypted my data and now stopped to work completely. I cannot login either with old and new passwords. Looks like my all passwords just lost.

The extension was often buggy but eventually it always did the work. But the cruel thing is that when I started using it it was free to use on all devices. Then suddenly they made it free to use only on one device. Which pretty much cancels out the purpose of a password manager. If I can see my passwords on my laptop, but when I'm outside on my mobile phone and I desperately need it and can't access it what's the use of password manager? They should've specified from the start that in the future it will only allow one device. I just uninstalled and moved to another password manager.

The login process has become needlessly complicated and buggy. I need to verify the login on my mail, then authenticator (then authenticator again if it fails) which means I need to enter my super long and complicated password four times. It would be great if we could opt out of this login mechanism, for me password ONCE and then authenticator ONCE should be more than enough. If it's good enough for Amazon and GitHub it should be good enough for LastPass.

Yeah, I'll be moving to some other password manager. With 2FA it just gets so buggy it is unusable. On one browser I end up having to login to the extension every 24 hours; the other one keeps sending requests to my app on the phone. As soon as I approve it it errors out on the browser and sends another request to the phone. Some real shoddy programming

Used to work flawlessly but in recent times when I click the extension it just won't connect into my safe. You just get a spinning wheel. Please can you sort this LastPass, as it's very frustrating.

I love it... when I can use it. The extension has become extremely buggy with the latest update. Any minor change to the extension or browser renders the extension useless and I need to uninstall and reinstall just to get it working again. PLEASE FIX.

Was Ok until the last week or so. Is now failing it's own MFA when I try to log into the lastpass extension on Mac/chrome. Telling me to update the extension, which I did. Still the same problem.

When trying to login to the chrome extension then trying to approve the connection from within the authenticator app, the extension login screen errors out stating I need to update the extension. But it continued to error out after uninstalling and reinstalling the extension. I had to type in the 2FA code from the authenticator app manually to be able to login to the chrome extension.

Huge disappointment. Extension is buggy. Sometimes passwords are not saved/synced. 2F Auth app is not working. And I pay for premium membership. Haven't thought that I will need to spend time on switching to another password manager.

I really don't understand why anyone would want to use this. This plugin is awful. It's not user friendly and doesn't save half of your passwords. Save yourself the trouble and go with something else. First doesn't always mean better.

I've been using this app forever, and it was great, but there are some major issues since the latest main release. It constantly asks to save passwords that already exist. Fails to auto-input. About 20% of the time, it creates an invisible iframe that blocks all clicks on the right third of the screen, by the far the worst bug of the bunch.

I've been using LastPass since 2014. For the longest time it was a great solution (and extension), but the past year or so it just seems to always have problems. Bug after bug. I find myself having to log in/out of the web interface multiple times a day when the Chrome extension stops working.

Extension sometimes adds an invisible overlay which prevents areas of the page from being clicked or interacted with.

Using this app with an authenticator app to use different strong passwords is far better than using the same password for many accounts!

The extension needs a serious update. I need to turn it off and on again every dat to log in. The 2 step verification I logged in 4 times yesterday the login will work for a bit then stop. Help response was quick, but the issue isn't resolved.

Overall good, 2 thinks are annoying: 1. Most websites have an icon on the right of the field like an eye to inspect the password or something, this is blocked by the lastpass icon. 2. With 2FA, every 30 days you have to re-enter your 2fa (this is good) but you name your computer as well and this field is reset EVERY TIME. Why does it not save this that I dont have to change the name every time I re-enter my 2FA?

After switching to the mobile app, I could no longer return to the PC version, and the data could not be exported either.

Needed help, can't remember passwords. Worked beautifully for a month. Now useless. I put a lot of time into keeping all my accounts accessable on last pass. Waste of time. Also I joined when it wasn't free, now have to wonder how many months they charged me for. Just a time waste/

We need to disable the autofill every now and then. This has brought some major catastrophes from time to time. Also stop stopping chrome from saving passwords. This is unacceptable.

I've been using LastPass for over a decade but I'm finally fed up and making the switch over to Bitwarden. Ever since it was acquired by LogMeIn, the quality has gradually declined, and the most recent changes have only made it worse. Autofill is even less reliable now and less accurate. The worst is if you have multiple accounts on websites like Google (which have two separate steps to fill in username and password), LastPass will often fill in the wrong password from one of your other accounts! The HotKeys feature is completely broken. The Android app has always been extremely buggy and unreliable. It's not like the LastPass developers don't know about these problems, the reviews here clearly demonstrate that. Bug fixes and stability are clearly not a priority. Making meaningless changes and reskins that add no real value to the product is clearly the priority to keep the marketing buzz alive. UPDATE: Reduced to 1 star. Registered a new account on a job portal used by several companies. LastPass didn't give me the option to ADD a new account, rather only UPDATE an existing account. The recent redesign is completely broken. It may look pretty but the functionality is garbage.

So annoying. I edit websites and when I use LastPass, and make an update to a page and LastPass is so stupid that it loads the website username value into random fields on the page which gets saved into the website - so stupid.

My subscription just renewed in June or I'd be switching to another password manager. The vault just spins ad infinitum. Hopefully there's a fix for this soon, because judging from the majority of recent reviews this is not an isolated issue.

Latest update completely broken on Chrome. Looks like the Logmein execs have finally managed to make Last Pass just like all of their other terrible products.

Used to be a great add-on but recent update BROKEN EVERYTHING!. Now it CONSTANTLY suggests new passwords through the GUI. It will allow selecting existing old passwords unless I use a clunky selection method through the master menus. Even when I successfully log in with my old password LASTPASS TRIES TO OVERWRITE MY GOOD PASSWORD WITH AN INVALID ONE! This extension is 1-step short of being broken so bad it is UNUSABLE.

The Lasspass was one of the best password manager tool, until the latest upgrade. The recent upgrade is really a disaster! Here're some issues: 1. It becomes very slow to open vault, which used to be pretty quick 2. Lastpass can't recogonize the correct login fields for some sites which I used pretty often. e.g. I managed a lot of testing account on a site, Lasspass did good job to manage all of them. But now, I have to search them from vault because the extension can't regonoize the correct login field so I can't select/search from the field 3. The password suggestion always show up when I signup for a new account on the site, which is very annoying but there's no way to disable it. 4. The autofill function will fill several fields together, but because Lasspass can't regoconize correct login fields, it will fill into some other unrelated fields which make my page messy. This kind of upgrade impact a lot, I think Lasspass team should be more careful when doing things like this, especially for a product that was a very good one!

After latest changes, I cant even close the "add to lastpass" popup after successfully login. This really annoys me since I cant hit anything behind this popup. Please fix it

Used to work awesome until the last update. The user experience is horrendous, why in the world would you remove the search option in the form popup? Also, now it keeps popping up every time even if I ask it to not remind again for this site. The latest updates have made it just unusable. Please revert back the changes.

Wow! I've been a faithful LP user for many years. The techs must have had a weed smoking party on the last update, because it is atrocious. The auto fill is off, the auto suggestions suck, and the extension just hangs when clicked. Hopefully you guys are over the hangover and working feverishly to fix this lousy update and deliver the superior product LP is capable of producing.

LastPass is great! But... The latest update has planted a big, fat, RED, three-dot hamburger menu on all my login screens. I give software product demos for a living and this makes it look like I have errors (red=bad) and is a major turn off. None of the preferences address this and I have to stop using the extension, which is a major shame because I love the product. I'll gladly give 5 stars if this is fixed.
