what happened to the audio equalizer??? - i updated google chrome, and came back to find a " new tab changer " instead of an audio equalizer. PLEASE bring the audio equalizer back. - 5 stars for the audio equalizer, but i'm furious that this was done without so much as a warning.

as a pro audio engineer, this is a fine simple compressor/limiter. helps level audio of content that can be too low. to the developer, there is a small amount of latency, which causes sync issues with video, like mouth movements, the audio is slightly late. latency is an issue with many audio modifiers, so we use a larger buffer, to compensate. but this helps on older youtube videos that have audio issues.

Good limiter and equalizer, however it prevents me from fullscreening videos on Mac 10.12.6 / Chrome 103.0.5060.134

Will not work, Stream Unavailable Error Msg when selecting the extension Maybe it will not work on Brave Browser?

Very useful but ABSOLUTELY needs the ability to input specific values, not just sliders. Add that and it's 5 stars from me.

This would be perfect if auto gain / auto volume leveler will be implemented. Not sure if the developer will read this. This is awesome already. If an auto volume gain (auto increase gain/volume when volume is low) this will be perfect.

I use this for work. It does everything I need in a single extension, and it does it well. The UI is functional and looks nice. I don't have a single issue that others have described. Good stuff.

made my audio all crackly and poppy, i tested two different headphones before realizing it was the extension it hurt my ears a bit however, the mono audio function did work

comforatable bass edition

bass volume everything is good but the static is pissing me off and its very annoying when the music stops and buffers because of the static. FIX IT NOW

extension works great for audio, including the ability to toggle it off and stop capturing tab audio, but only works on one tab at a time. it wasn't as bad (would be worth 4 stars) when there was an identical extension on the web store, each one working on one tab at a time, which meant that I could do two tabs. but that extension just disappeared, and i have no place to rate that extension 0 stars for not existing, so i've averaged it here to come up with 2 stars. this extension would be 5 stars if it worked on multiple tabs at the same time, and i will change my rating if it ever does. making the mono audio pannable (or better yet being able to have a pan slider to pick channels to take from and a pan slider to pick channels to output to) would be nice too. also the support website link is 404 edit: 4/29 adding a star because the other extension is back, but multiple working would still be nicer

Fantastic; great for videos with incompetently mixed audio that would be grating to listen to if not for this extension's EQ and limiter. It only works on one tab at a time, which may not be ideal, but I am okay with that caveat (how often am I going to be listening to several tabs at once?)

Excellent and much demanded tool! But I give it 4 bc it always makes sound slightly but noticeably out of sync with the lips. And sometimes very-very noticeably.

This equalizer really changed the way I perceived music. It is an incredible addition to my life. Here's the review: Other than the chorus function, the limiter, reverb, and equalizer was easy to figure out, even for a first-timer like me after just a bit of research. One thing I would wish for is the addition of a record function. It frustrates me how I cannot record things and add them to my playlist because I cannot have two audio extensions active at a time.

Would be 5 out of 5, but on my mac when audio channel is active, it prevents the tab from going full screen, so not very useful when watching a movie. Anyone have any fixes for this?

It was okay, except for the fact that sometimes the audio will sound static-y when using the extension. Still need a fix for that.

Extension I use the most, more than adblock.

It fixes the audio glitch in youtube where you only hear from one headphone All you have to do is press "mono"

I've gone thru a handful of equalizers before this one. All of them useless or not even functioning. This is by far the best I came across.

This is a good tool for experimenting with music and other videos alike, but there is one common issue. It's the unwanted chorus in changing the pitch, not referring to the chorus tuner having an issue, but a grinding noise interfering with frequencies when you increase the pitch of a video. Is there a way to fix this issue?

must have for youtubers that don't have a compressor on their mic

Every time i turn this on on any youtube video, no matter what settings i edit or turn off, all it does is create a horrifying glitchy broken audio where the pitch changes all over the place even wih the setting turned off...

Doesn't run offline right now. It will be back to four stars when it runs offline. For five stars it needs to run on every tab. It's obnoxious to open a new tab and have it be really loud. This plugin should either be on by default or have the option to make it on by default. I want a set it and forget it audio compressor for poorly mixed content. What is so hard about the set it and forget it part?

it works better than my video card but none of these are stable.

It's an unbearable pain to live on our world with Youtube, Twitch etc without a compressor. thanks you guys for making my life more comfortable always with the same volume level!

Wow. What a great extension, it does exactly what it says on the tin. I was just looking for a compressor extension, but found so much much more, and no annoyances like other extensions in this category. Currently using: Threshold: -20, Knee: 35, Ratio: 3, Attack: 0.01, Release: 0.01. Good for annoying Netflix outroes on youtube which usually blasts my poor speakers.

Simple. Think it works for limiting volume - good for outdoor movies! Some instructions would be good though.

Tried MANY chrome audio related extensions - hands down the best. Looks great & easy to use. Feature's I'd like to see (if poss) The ability for the extension to auto-open due to being triggered by audio playing sites like soundcloud & online retailers etc to counter that split second speaker blowing/ear destroying moment as you fumble for the extensions icon. Along side that an option to add your own sites to the extensions preset groups. I'd rather close the extension upon audio detection afterward, than scramble open it after being blasted by web sites who seem to set their audio at full volume (or after a cache/cookie clear out). If this already has these options (then oops) but why isn't it obvious and 2/ a pop up with an add (too A,B,C preset) feature as well as an enable/disable the (interrupt) pop up would be very welcome.

It's nice that it has a Karaoke option, but the audio stutters a lot and it sounds a bit distorted at times.

Absolutely fantastic! A must for balancing out youtube 'loudness' between different streams. Per site/domain settings would make Audio Channel THE extension I'd choose to keep if stranded on a remote island :)

Works, but you have to actively select it, and it just won't work on more than one tab at a time. Also, produces a lot of static/stutter.

Great extension. Been using it for ages. Noticed recently it disappeared due to it being a purchasable extension now where it used to be free. I bought it because it does what I need it to do: balances the audio for your favorite youtuber/twitch streamer who seems to forget how microphones work and proceeds to yell into it. This extension allows you to balance the levels where someone else didn't bother to in the source content. Only caveat would be don't use it for anything you would like to hear the dynamic range for as with any limiter. Only critique would be some kind of tab auto loader so right when you open a new tab, it would turn on. I don't mind having to turn it on for new tabs, but for a tab junkie like me it would be a great QOL feature. Anyway, great implementation of an audio limiter.

Excellent for 2 way sound (stereo), esp. if there're different instruments on the R to the L channel (and vice versa) in the music! Includes Pitch, Chorus (I only really used depth (@0.6)), Reverb (works wonders [email protected] & [email protected] works best for me), an Equaliser (EQ) and Limiter (somewhat useless for the music I listen too). Its UI is user-friendly, and is great for people who know at least a little bit about mixing! (Or, you can just play around to see what happens, if you don't know anything about EQ, reverb etc.!) Only two issues: -It only works on one channel/tab at a time, and flicking through tabs to disable, then re-enable the app is slightly annoying, -Only one custom preset for each category, which is also annoying (different music sounds better with other presets). It'd be great if there were multiple presets, or even built-in presets! Either way, it's very much worth for music with headphones! Download it!

works great, sound is boosted and the audio reverb and equalizer are awesome makes Youtube music videos, sound like a live concert. like that it also saves your audio settings as well.

ThIS AUDIO CH IS SO SIMPLE TO USE AND IT IS POWERFUL IT TURNS MY CRHOMEBOOK INTO A NICE SOUNDING MACHINE KEEP IT THE WAY IT IS DON'T CHANGE NOTHING TAKE IT FROM A PRO AT 62 YRS.Oh yes the presets mite be a problem.

Wonderful extension, very useful when wanting to watch online movies that sometimes come with very low level audio and not having to modify the rest of the volume settings you use in your daily PC duties.

When I try to enable the extension on the current tab, by clicking on the Extension button on Top right it changes the size of my un-maximized Chrome browser. Has any body else also reported this and is there any solution to this issue?

This is the real deal. I accidentally installed a fake version of this program that was Adware. This one works great and is NOT a scam. Perfect for those of us with Chromebooks with bad speakers.

It would be nice if this didnt override any of my other audio extensions. I use virtual cables from chrome to seperate levels from games I play and this cancels that out. Other than that, everything works, just in default audio devices only.

This is EXACTLY what I wanted: a way to correct a left-channel-only YouTube audio. All I had to do was click the "MONO" button. Simple, effective. <3

Good way to fix low volume audio from youtube.

I love the limiter so much! It makes many youtube videos a lot more pleasant. And also the EQ helps a lot to get rid of annoying sounds e.g. during presentations

My audio is normally really glitchy on my browser and goes too low, this fixes it all the way, its a must get!

Lets me perfectly listen to the specific audio channels I want. Really nice for enhancing backup vocals or instrumentals I enjoy in songs.
