Liked it, but IT IS NOT WORKING ANYMORE .... says sorry the URL is invalid - for every web page

Used to work but now bre.is won't open URLs anymore, rendering the extension USELESS. It was good. Not anymore.

I use to like until the moment it produced a message, for a given web site, that the "URL is invalid". I am using the shortener from the Chrome extension, and I can see the web site, totally valid. What is going on?

I loved the simplicity of this extension and that it contains both QR codes and URL shortener. It was awesome combo! However, since they switched to bre.is after the Goo.gl's shutdown, it became half useless. It turned out that new link shortener (Bre.is) generates URLs that can't be sometimes opened, so it's impossible to rely on them :( It would be great to have alternatives like bit.ly. I'd be glad to purchase a Pro version of it if this extension will get extended functionality (one-time payment only, please :) ).

Has worked brilliantly until now but Powerwash of chromebook reinstalled it and now just jerking loading arrows. have tried removing and reinstalling- no joy :(

New changes SUCK! Don't need a 3D bar code EVER!! Can't get the standard shorter URL to do a simple copy and paste. Please give me back the old version that WORKED!!

With URLs being a mile long now days this tool makes it easy to share links with people without having to bury your message and the link in one.

They copied someone else's extension and use it to hijack other people's affiliate links - not just the ones it shortens! Go to an Amazon page and you'll see their affiliate ID (studio-71) in the link.

There is no reason not to have this extension installed... very helpful and useful for uncluttering bibliographies

Useful and Easy use

Was very useful, now crashes often. And when it's not crashing, it's making Chrome crash by eating up RAM and CPU. I almost switched away from Chrome entirely before I realized it was this extension causing performance problems.
