Stitchd's Generic Digital Data Layer (GDDL) framework supports an event-driven and vendor agnostic data layer implementation. The framework offers a common generic structure for defining analytics event content, either through plain javascript objects, or by attributing analytics data in the HTML elements. To connect to site implemented tag management solutions, the framework translates the data layer into the vendor specific data layer and tag manager event structures and passes the data through an event queue. The GDDL Inspector tool is a developer extension panel that visualizes the event queue from the framework. The GDDL inspector tool will also perform a syntactical check on the HTML data attributes, and visualize which components are properly/faulty attributed.
