It worked great for me. What I was looking for is for it to "scroll" down through the page and render it into a PDF. It did just that. Thank you, PDF Mage!

You can't print the PDF unless you use a website to remove print restrictions on the PDF. Use a different extension!

PDF Mage worked very well on a dynamic JavaScript page, with complex CSS styles. Other extensions like "Print Friendly & PDF" and "Save as PDF" didn't work because of one of these reasons.

Ctrl+P doesn't work for all webpage so I search and found this. Unlike other extensions I tried, this one really worked the way I need. I can copy and paste any text from the page I saved as pdf. Thank you so much to the dev.

Not good.

This is the first working and simple method I've found for backing up a webpage's appearance, in it's entirety. (Saving the HTML isn't enough for webbies, and Print to PDF destroys the page appearance) It captures the entire page, including the part that isn't visible on your browser. I've tried about 10 of these and none have ever worked (or, worked usably) - this was the first! I do understand it doesn't do all page types, but this is nevertheless a Godsend! Remember to wait for the download - it can take a few seconds (or more) for the PDF to be generated and become available.

Does the job like it's supposed to. Sometimes doesn't come out perfect, but usually the results are pretty good.

Very limiting. Just print it using print dialog and save it as PDF. Remember CTRL + P.

Very useful and small size of addon

It saves the page, yes, but it doesn't allow you to edit the page before it is saved. It also splits images across pages - and it includes some images in the download that I would prefer to leave out - such as the list of "related" articles. One big plus is that it does seem to NOT download the advertisements. Overall, OK, but impressive.

This (extension) is AMAZING!! Because it ACTUALLY does what it CLAIMS. What a rarity in the WWW of thieves, liars, frauds, hustlers and used-car salesmen. Keep it above board, please. For all of us whom you've inspired to trust (a little bit) again.

Worked perfect, and let me save a pdf of a whole long page easily, instead of just the top part like when i do cmd+P. Thanks for this extension!

Adds password to pdf, cant change anything in them. Saves some text outlined

This creates PDFs of some pages that I cannot otherwise do this with. However, I did not know the PDF files would be password protected. I am trying to combine PDF files in Adobe Acrobat and cannot merge the files made by PDF Mage without a password. What is the password on the file? How do I get around this? Also, the feedback/question form on their own website does not work. I will try to contact them through Facebook, but am not too hopeful. UPDATE: I got a message back through Facebook and here's the fix: Hi! This is the default restriction of the free version of PDF Mage. If you go to PDF Mage "Options" page in your browser, you can choose between the printing restriction, or adding the "Free version" note to the footer of the generated PDF documents. If you choose the latter option, you will be able to edit/merge your documents.

The PDF looks a little different than the web page (formatting is off) and the resulting PDF is not printable.

I can't open a pdf in illustrator it asks for a password.

The plugin works great but the PDF files it saves are password protected and it's not mentioned anywhere.

Excellent. It preserves the links and it doesn't add a watermark. Furthermore it downloads automatically.

UHHH When I try to edit the downloaded PDF's it says they are PASSWORD-ENCRYPTED?!?!?!? WHAT IS THE PASSWORD I NEED TO EDIT THEM NOW FOR SCHOOL

Loved it, very handy, but it no longer works. Once before, it didn't work, uninstalled, reinstalled, then it worked. Now even that doesn't help. It is exactly what I need (when it works) but is useless now. Gave it two stars because it is good, when it works, but it deserves only one for not working.

I wanted an extension that provides better results than the standard Print, Save as PDF. An extension that doesn't add large blocks of extra whitespace as it converts. PDF Mage is not that extension. PDF Mage converted content-filled web pages to multipage, entirely blank, PDFs. No webpage content, just page after page of blankness.

Does what it says on the tin.

FANTASTIC! Exactly what I was looking for. I need the live links in the PDF and THIS DOES IT! So simple to operate. Click, wait while it works, then choose to download or open it. What could be more simple! PROBLEM: It disappeared from the toolbar, would not come back if I disabled and reenabled, had to go to Store and unintall and reintall to get it back to the toolbar. Seems to be no other way to activate other than on toolbar so if it is gone from there, will not work. What a pain! PS: Now I'm going back and deleting all those others that didn't work!

Did not reproduce effects of CSS. Did not permit me to regulate background color, pagination, or margins. But it did preserve embedded hyperlinks, unlike Chrome itself.

You are a godsend. This is easily the best save-webpage-as-a-pdf extension I've used. Generally very useful, but I *have* had it fail quite a lot of times. If a page is too big or has a lot of flashy nightmarish coding, it might fail. If it fails, try closing tabs, or even restarting your session, and it might work. Waiting and trying again later may help, as well. Like I said though, this webpage to PDF saver is probably the best, being most accurate to the page of any I've seen. It can even accurately save webpages when you are logged in to a site-- something other website to PDF savers I've tried can't do. Also, I highly recommend that everyone read the information on their website: http://www.pdfmage.org/ http://www.pdfmage.org/home/faq ...as one thing mentioned is the kinds of pages unable to be converted.

Works pretty well most of the time. Really be nice to see and have the ability to clear the errors I get. Just see a red square bottom right of the icon with no useful information. // ANY chance at all for some error handling?

The best PDF-converter extension. Period.

I love this add-on. It takes a perfect capture of the whole page and convert it online -I think- then deliver it to you ready to download in PDF format. Sadly, It takes some time and you must not click on it while it works. You just have to wait a little then... BOOM .. your page is ready for being downloaded in PDF. Overall, it's a great experience,THANKS.

This extension had problems with a somewhat long web page I was trying to save; it ended up making an 8 page PDF, but some of the pages were blank - if I was at the top of the page and clicked the button, I got the top part; if I was at the bottom of the web page, I got a few pages from the bottom.

Does not work! Only gets the "Footer" as an image!

I tested on two articles, and with the one, it came out just perfectly. On the other, it did not display images, but if I clicked on the white spaces where images should be, it took me to a web page with each image. Five stars if it could work perfectly all the time! It's the best I've used so far! :)

The only problem I am facing is that after 4-5 minutes it will just show error when I click on it and that error would be there for 2-3 minutes until it starts working back again. Hope Author fixes this issue. Remaining its the best PDF copier of website. Love it

I tried 3 other HTML to PDF extensions and they were all completely useless. This one did exactly what I wanted, as it produces a perfect PDF version of the page you've converted.

Only app i found on chrome store that actually work what it says. Good functionality and properly converts entire webpage to a pdf file.

Works great. Accurately creates a pdf file with words that are able to be read by software instead of just a picture. My only complaint is that the there is very small page margins and the pages on some articles are look strange because of this and would need reformatting to print. Better than adobe
