Works well, only think i wish is it would show the title of the video when moving the mouse - the same behaviour as when replacing /watch?= with /embed/ on any video. It makes it difficult to find the right video when having opened many tabs.

Honestly this should be the default view for videos on youtube. Been looking for something like this for ages. Does exactly what it says it does. Nothing more, nothing less. Perfect extension.

There are times that I have to refresh the page for it to work. Hoping for Next Update to fix it.

It stops uBlock from blocking videos before ads. The ads are there if I enable this extension.

great extension, glad it exists however, it stop working at times and the way to fix it is to refresh, not a major deal but id rather not have this problem at all

There are times that you need to refresh the video for the Extension to work.

Would be five stars except like once every day now it reopens the settings menu for no reason, which is incredibly frustrating.

(I wish there was a Github or other place to voice issues aside from reviews) For the past couple weeks, the extension has been re-opening its settings menu (as if it was the first run) every day or two on all of my devices. Sometimes it even happens multiple times per day. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the extension but no effect.

When i go in the comment section and type the letter i, the miniplayer will toggle on-off, the letter appears as well in the comment box. please fix, it works fine when disabling your extension

I have loved this extension since it's debut, but it is currently giving me a slight issue. When in use, it is cropping the top and bottom of the video player out of the boundary of the browser screen. I dont know if there's a fix for this, but it renders the extension slightly useless, since it is cropping part of the viewer and, subsequently, the video.

Great plugin. For some reason, though, it recently started zooming when I use it, instead of having black bars, making parts of the video unviewable when in use.

after last version update when i get back from youtube video to search page on youtube i cannt scroll up or down page is freeze i tried when i not use the extension is not freeze any more the page is normal now this extension wasnt like that before

The issue with this extension is that it doesn't work the first time you open a video. The expand icon is missing and I have to reload the video for it to appear. When using the auto toggle mode, it's expanded but not properly as there are no black bars on the left and right (you can see the youtube logo etc) and there is once again no toggle button so you have to refresh the page if you want to scroll down to the comments.

It used to work perfectly. Somehow after youtube changed its view options, this windowed fullscreen doesn't work anymore ;-;

I was hoping that someone already made this extension and here I am. Works great.

Too buggy. It continually toggles itself on and off. Setting "auto-toggle" on or off has no effect. The shortcut key sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. And it doesn't let you scroll down to like or comment.

Installed it. Refreshed the video I was watching. Clicked the button. It worked. It has one purpose and does it. Literally nothing more, nothing less. 5/5

This app is buggy as ****. Half (maybe more) the time the button expand the video to window size doesn't show up and you have to expand the YouTube video to full screen and then hope it shows up so you can reduce it to window size and sometimes doesn't even show up then. It's one of the more frustrating extensions that I've ever used.

Hey! Very promising with a two issues: - The toggle button within the player is very good to have but it bugs me that it's not in line with the other buttons. Inspecting the page reveals that it's not positioned right, it's lower. - I would like to be able to scroll down and have access to the search bar and comments / likes etc. just like how the functionality works in the default fullscreen mode.

Works as intended. The icon looks out of place with the current youtube design though.

After the recent update it turns on automatically when a video starts playing. I checked in settings and the auto-toggle options is unchecked.

it works, but you can't right click the video while using it.

This is so aggressively good that It should immediately be bought from the creator and added as a default feature. I'll be using this until they do add it as a default. (using Vivaldi browser)

I use this extension everyday, but when I press escape while in fullscreen mode the functionality completely disappears until i go into fullscreen and press F11 which fixes the issue.

I can't fully full screen after installing this, but it works for windowed full. This issue might be because of my PC, I had the issue once before I installed this extension.

I just wish this extension was on the MS add-on store as well.

I really like having the windowed fullscreen, it's great. I can flip between windows a lot better and it's easier to see discord messages. Only issue I've had with it (and it doesn't even bother me considering how little it happens and how easy it is to fix) is that on occasion if you go full fullscreen too many times the windowed button will disappear until you refresh the page.

The YouTube player tends to become inaccessible and cropped in small browser windows, but I like to shrink my Chrome window to a quarter of my 1080p monitor or even less. This extension is just perfect for my needs.

I only wanted this for one thing: the YouTube desktop app. It opens in a separate window "the app state": No tabs, no bookmarks - nothing but the frame. This extension naturally works within that chrome app without any complications. Now I can watch videos perfectly pinned in VR without fighting window size and clunky UI! Amazing stuff!

Combine it with Edge (Chrome) PWA, this extension makes my YouTube experience feels like a offline video player! Thank you!

Love this extension but I only have one gripe. I have auto HD enabled on youtube and this extensions totally ignores it. I even downloaded another extension in hopes that it would override this one but no such luck. Hope this can be fixed!

Love this extension. Great when working with multiple windows. Only small OCD issue i'm having is the icon on the youtube player seems slightly off center compared to the icons next to it.

Sometimes fails to load; but refresh solves it.

A must have for anyone with an ultrawide/super ultrawide, since you are probably running multiple window panes side by side and want the maximum video per browser window width that you give it. I wish I had found this sooner.

Only Issue I faced was the extension options menu opening up everytime on startup. With V2.9, Chrome Version 84.0.4147.89 (Official Build) (64-bit). To recreate, - Enable option to open where you left off on reopening chrome. - Open a Few tabs with the extension enabled. - Close chrome and reopen, Extension Options show up without one doing anything.

Works great. A few times a day, entirely on its own, the extension opens it's own settings page and ask me to save some settings regarding shortcuts. Not sure what could be causing this, maybe a bug in a recent update?

Doesn't hide the menu bar, address bar or tabs. but does increase in size. The Tilde key ~ doesn't not work as you have stated, however the Apostrophe ' does.

Amazing extension, it should be a default option in Youtube, their theater mode is useless. Only issue: sometimes the button doesn't appear; if I reload the page with F5, it may or not fix itself. The hotkey doesn't work on my french keyboard.

I love this extension, but for a while now, every time I try to write a comment I keep toggling the fullscreen with the T key and have to close it to see what I'm typing. Is there a way to disable the shortcut or maybe a fix for when the video is not in focus/while writing a comment? Edit: Everything works fine now, changed the rating to 5 stars.

Does this extension still work? There's no expand icon appearing at the bottom of the video like in the screenshot. And when I click ` it also doesn't expand to windowed fullscreen.

It's great but if you press t when writing a comment for example, it toggles the full-screen. There should be an option to prevent the extension from triggering if the user is typing in the YouTube comments... For example, look at the amount of times I used the character 't' in this review :/

Nearly exactly what I wanted without all the fluff of other youtube apps. I'm not sure how to make it auto fullscreen on load, but 6 stars if that's a possibility.

Lately it's been showing the comments in the background - it doesn't seem to block out the rest of the page when it goes full screen in the window...

it's really good for coding tutorials, if you just want to switch from the tutorial to your coding application you don't have to get out of full screen and then open the coding application. in general it's still really useful. 11/10 would recommend.

How would one disable the hotkey? I don't like it activating constantly while I am typing in a youtube comment field.

If you press escape whilst in full-screen, the button will disappear until you go back into full-screen or press T. Outside of that, it serves it's purpose and that's all it needs to do.
