Looks promising, but I cannot seem to get the macros to run after recording. The play Macro button does nothing.

I tried many automation extensions. Axiom worked, but was slow. All the other ones were hard to set up. This one worked really well and it was easy to use! Thanks!

Worked great until today, now it won't load at all. Clicking the icon doesn't do anything anymore and going to extension options crashes the browser. Can't get to my tests to switch browsers

In general this is a good product, it is very hard to work out as a beginner as there is no good introductory youtube videos or documentation. A good hint to get started is to click this browser extension's icon after installation. There are samples but these are uncommented, not sure what the logic is here... It's "command line" is quirky and should be an exe to make life easier.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but not-so-good because once you record the macro, you can't edit its commands by keyboard later.

Very powerful, easy to learn, and particularly useful for website testing and RPA tasks.

This thing is brilliant! It just saved me about 1500 clicks. I got to play with my cat while a really boring part of my job was completed. It was easy to figure out how to make it happen too!

Thank you, Great Extension, Would you please add option speed = 1 second. sometimes - 0.3 sec is to fast (not always work correctly) and 2 seconds is to slow, but useful perhaps, 0,6 sec also would be very useful as well as 1 second. Thank you ?

If it would actually do what it claims it would be fantastic, BUT, BUT, there are no clear instructions on how it works, I wasted many hours with guess work testing. And then you find they have quietly added a $999 fee to be able to actually do. They ve had enough of my time so I'm off to try a couple of the other RPA softwares out there.. John Hancock

Finally something that worked for me. I have tried 5 other website macro recording extensions on various browsers and none would work for me. I was about to give up and gave this a try. Worked great for me and saved me countless hours!

Super annoying, this plugin will DELETE all your macros work when it update. You have to keep running backup after you done some work. SUCH A SERIOUS BUG. This is the second time that my macros are gone !!! This project is very buggy, it also crashes often before. This is like a university student project despite the nicer design look.

NOT EASY TO USE AT ALL. PLAYED WITH IT FOR AN HOUR AND COULDN'T DO A SIMPLE CLICK TO WORK. DESIGNED ONLY FOR DEVELOPERS OR PROGRAMMERS!!!!!!

Awesome! Better than the desktop browser automation tools I tried, quick to create working solutions. The only complain may be the delivery and packaging, it is not easy to share a macro with others.

Worked ok sometimes, but more trouble that it was worth. Breaking point was when it started throwing JS console errors while I was working on a website and had me digging around trying to figure out why my code was erroring out now.

XClick did not click on the correct object, It always missed about an inch up.

In Chinese, this is a "god tool", it is easy to create our crawler, no necessary to know any computer language, but you should know a little html syntax.

Error #101: UI.Vision RPA is not connected to a browser tab very useful, this is the third automatization plugin which actually doing nothing

it was working great but lately has been crashing since the last update. needs to be "reload".

I have only given a review Twice in the 20 years i have been online. This plugin is genius. Works far far better than any other so called automation plugin. Keep up the good work bud , do you have this on github?

Can I use this to mass delete pictures on Facebook ?

Doesn't work on Facebook (at least recording macros does not yield anything). I wanted to automate the "hide ad" steps, which are legal commands in Facebook when you don't want to see ads from any more from an advertiser. Recording the clicks yields no events. Even trying a visualAssert won't work, as when I try to Select the area, I get an error: "Not able to take screenshot on the current tab". I realize it's probably Facebook being super stealthy, but wanted to let others know not to waste their time here. Gave 3 stars even though I didn't really like it, because the UI looks more intuitive than others tools I tried.

After researching, I decided on UIVision because it's open source, work's offline (high security), doesn't need a "university" to learn, and when the time comes from heavier use is reasonably priced to extend. Most issues I encountered I solved by searching the docs and forums. Thank you to the developers!

There is something wrong with this Extension. It always leaves an error in my console. This is really annoying as I use my developer cosnole everyday and everyday I have to see this error. content_script.js:2803 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'recordClickType' of undefined at HTMLDocument.onClick (content_script.js:2803) I would have used your extension but now I won't because not only does your extension have bugs. But I have had this thing on my chrome for a long time because I never got to debugging my extensions, and in all the time I had it no update for this bug was made. It's a simple thing to notice you have errors in your console as a developer, you guys should care more for your product.

The team at UI.Vision has been continuously ehancing this add-in. There is an active user community forum where you can get help, suggestions, tips.

I dont know why it says "[error] in parsing Codes.json: Cannot read property 'toLowerCase' of undefined" when ever I try to import .json

Just a copy of Selenium 1, but for a 5.0 really undeveloped. UI is same as Selenium 8 years ago and full of usability issues. Also many problems like "Cannot read property 'tab' of undefined" and other very helpful messages. If you wanna be productive, don't play around with the 90s.

Seems to work well, but was having trouble getting XClick to work, even in the built-in demo.

The 'pro' version is basically required for anything more then the basics, and they charge way to much (Almost $100) for features that should be in the base version.

is there any maven artifacts? so that we write script by calling your api directly.

My brother accidentally removed the extension and when I finally installed it back my test suites were all missing.

This is a nice tool. The best thing about it is the visual verification feature. The ability to reuse test cases (macros) in test suites is nice. However, a way to create reusable methods or functions that can be called within a macro is needed (or at least the ability to call a macro from within a macro). Additionally, the tool lacks a proper "verify element present" command that returns a boolean with the ability to set the timeout within the same command . This is critical for testing. The work-around to verify ${!LastCommandOK} is a weak alternative, as it entail creating extra steps, and also requires modifying the global ${!TIMEOUT_WAIT}. Additionally the feature to "Select" element properties into the "Target" field, works 50% of the time. Overall, this can be a great tool if it better supported code reuse and added a few more important Selemium IDE commands.

I love Kantu! It makes routine tasks go so much faster and without having to do it manually. So thank you! I just sometimes have the problem, that it uses the wrong tab or switches between inkognito mode and normal mode when I don't want it. Is there a way to force the focus onto a mode or tab? (Browser: Firefox)

I tried Katalon and Selenium IDE and both were failing with the webforms I was filling in. Kantu worked flawlessly. Easy to configure, great documentation, no issues so far. Thanks guys!

I really enjoy this app, but EVERY time there's an update it stops my script to tell me about it. happened 3 times in the past 3 days. i run my scripts overnight, great to wake up and see the script stopped working because kantu wanted to tell me about a bug fix.

Fantastic tool for automating the population of webforms. We had a database of 350 names that we needed to enter into an online system that didn't have a bulk upload feature. Kantu saved us many hours. The documentation on Kantu's website for each command was really fantastic which helped in writing the macro properly. Well done!

Rarely runs macros on the correct window, crashes frequently, and stops mid-macro often for no reason.

Great yet simple extension note to improve - alias the "pause" command to "sleep" and "delay". I've made an automation loop and it took me a to find the pause command. coming from programming background it's more common to reference it by the latter keywords.

I'm having the hardest time figuring it out. All the tutorials online are for the full version, not the chrome extension, and I keep getting errors or unexpected results when I play back a recording. I'm sure it's user error, but I don't have any help to see what I'm doing wrong.

Hard to use and doesn't execute macros correctly in gmail

New update broke all my macros: "[error] IPC Promise has been Destroyed. [info] Test case failed (Runtime 7.10s)" It was good while it lasted...

Somehow stop working. I can not send the csv file. I can no longer save edits.

More powerful and compatible than iMacro, however, it is in desperate need for better and easier documentation. Still, would use it over anything else on any given day.

Working Great!! But is it possible to activate this addon (with a specific macro ofcourse) from a windows script (say, powershell)? In imacro addon, i could just add (imacros://run/?m=NAMEOFMACRO.imm) as an argument for firefox/chrome. This feature will truly make this addon perfect for me! thank you

Can you do it to replay each X seconds?

It wants to pin on to the left side of the screen where I have my start menu and it goes under it, so I can't do anything. You can disable it, but it is very annoying.

Didn't seem to have a way to loop through a csv/file and visit a url modified with some data from each line of the file. I emailed support and used the support chat here but got no answers. Seems very basic and also site documentation not aligned with actual product. I got what I wanted with imacro instead.

There could be a native support to file upload.. I took a look at the documentation, but couldn`t make it work.. But overall, pretty interface, very easy to use.. awesome!

I couldn't find a command to verify the presence of an element in page. This makes the tool useless for my needs (functional testing).

A great time-saver if you're searching for a bug in a web app that only shows up halfway through a form for example. The UI could be a bit better, but the extension is new, and at least the UI is not worse than the original Selenium IDE.

The interface is convoluted. I couldn't get my team to use it based on that alone.

Difficult to use. Documentation does not match current release.

Tried few automation add-ons, this one is so cool and works too :-)

I use this add-on when I needed to create a web based recording and playback of a process I do every month. The process is complex, and I do it 10 times each month and then I repeat it again the next month. It's critical that the data entry happens perfectly correctly each time, without fail. So it's the prime example of a tedious, boring easy to screw up task that has to happen without screw-ups. This extension makes it easy to do.

Thanks so much for making this Selenium Automation Tool! Now that Selenium IDE is not working with FireFox 55, I will be using this tool! :)

Not bad at all - it is the best alternative to the now disfunct selenium ide for firefox, which no longer works since the firefox 55 upgrade.
