Works fine as advertised but they should have an option to disable the Cmd/Ctrl+F hijacking. I can't use the browser's built-in search feature because they hijack Cmd+F (macOS) and Ctrl+F (Windows). This should be opt-in or at least I should be able to opt-out of it as it presents a terrible user experience.
This extension is focused, visually customizable, and carefully made
The search feature kill this extension for me. It only jumps to the first instance of your search. If there are multiple results, it just highlights those results, and does not jump. So for a large json blob, finding say, the second instance of a string can't happen unless you want to go through the blob and find a highlighted match. I really like everything else about this extension, but i need to be able to effectively search, so I'll have to move on to something else.
There is an option to custom style which i like the most. I have tried most of json formatter in chrome, and this is the best one.

Lightweight, and love the themes, so many color options.
This works fine but it does not support syntax highlighting or collapsing. The "JSON Formatter" extension is better as it has these features.
I've tried other viewers but this one gives you more options to customize to your liking. This extension is very very nice to have. Job well done!!!
Very awfull search by JSON. I wanna use browser search but forced to use terrible inner search.

This is a great app and it still works (tested). To use, open a JSON file in a Chrome tab and it will format it for you. This is for JSON Viewer version 0.18.1 running on Chrome version 92.0.4515.107
I installed and tried on a local file on my computer ==> doesn't work. Maybe restart Chrome? Doesn't work. Reinstall plugin? Doesn't work. Check Json size and increase limit? Doesn't work. Open Firefox without any plugin ==> Works !

Ctrl-F is broken. Unacceptable.
Love how parameterized it is! I can change my theme, my font, my colors!
Main drawback is that it is slow and clunky -- large json data sets make it choke up and display incorrectly. It can handle small stuff easily, but it really struggles with anything larger than a small amount of json.

I'm desperatively trying to make it work on my files. I have enabled the option to read my files. Why not even show how an example on how to use this? This is not the kind of stuff you want to spend 20 min on tried to figure out how to use it.

Hey, Developers. You all did awesome job. ??I really like it. it helps me a lot. Only two things are missing in the extension 1. When we collapse then I need number of records. Ex: if I have arrays and I collapse then it show me the number of records in the array. same for dictionary. 2. Add support email in the extension so user can directly send issue/feedback/appreciations. Great job... Thank you!

Extension is nice, but scroll is broken. - Scroll with Space does not work. - Scroll with Arrows does not work. - Scroll with Home/End does not work. + Scroll with mouse/touchpad works. + Scroll with PgUp/PgDn works. - Tab does not work.

Fast and straightforward. I like all the themes that are shipped with this plugin, and the customisation options allow me to tweak a few settings to satisfy my needs.
Best of the JSON viewer extensions I've tried, does precisely what I need it to do.
I love the dark theme, customization settings, UI, and the fact that it is up-to-date and open source! There are other "open source" JSON formatter extensions, but they either haven't been updated in a while, or they have been updated but the updated version isn't open source.
It is okay, but would be wonderful if the datas could be collapsible

Awesome! Love it's theme changing settings
All is good except search feature. It is very annoying, as it works only for one appearance and then you loose input. It overrides native chrome search which is way better.

Use this all the time.
Looks good, nice with small responses. But eats all available CPU that it has available to it and takes 10-20 seconds with 200kB responses, that without the extension are displayed instantly.

a very helpful tool for web developers to see what their json API outputs, i been using it to check what my API's output in json and love the tool. And with many themes i was able to make mine look like my sublime text IDE.

Nice formatting but search does not work making it practically useless if you're looking through a large JSON document.

Bug: when the json's head or foot have something else text. the extension will can't work well for example: else{"key":"value"}else

Does everything that I want, works most of the time as I expect, looks good. Never had issues of JSON documents not being recognise properly.
