Doesn't work.

Hello all looks fine just when seeing the twitter line Images have lost color, this may be ok for other website but on Twitter seeing images is kind of fun sometime important, is there a way to see the images properly on twitter line btw videos are fine on twitter...YT also looks good. thanks.

Not bad, it works good for some websites, some websites look bad, some websites look good, for example youtube was good except i couldnt get rid of those small ads, but this extension is good, some people can take this!

You know it's really good when it's TOO dark. Also, alot of people may notice that this extension doesn't work on chrome urls. To fix this, go to chrome://flags, and paste this into the search #extensions-on-chrome-urls

When I try to put my computer in dark mode using the keyboard shortcut (Google searched), it doesn't work properly and 80% of my screen is still white. However, with this extension, it covers all of my screen and looks SUPER COOL at same time. Don't think twice about adding it just because the stars are rated 4, it's a GREAT extension. I don't get anything about them wanting me to pay, and Hacker Vision is just plain AWESOME.

Works perfectly, although with Windows 10 HDR, Facebook in Chrome is very black and not usable.

In my case the "six month free trial" turned out to last only two weeks or so. And if you peruse the reviews, it seems like a pretty problematic extension even if you buy it.

Garbage app that will set up a scam on your computer that will send a pop up to your screen asking for google account information and payment. Do not install!!!

For some reason this was disabled this morning and I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out which extension made it work because shift-F12 is EASY. Finally I figured it out. This might be one of my all time favorite apps. When I have the 2.99 I will certainly purchase it. Thank you Hacker Vision.! Oh I tried several other extensions thinking I might have uninstalled it by accident but they do not compare.

Nobody download this extension. The guy who designed this must of just been too dumb to turn on inverted colors. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS. It's a bullcrap scam and if you want everything to be dark just turn on inverted colors. its built into every OS and is titles "inverted colors" or "high contrast mode"

I experience at home strange problems. I like extension and somehow it's tuning colors to website I use. But yesterday I upgrade my pc hardware and reinstall all windows, and now begin to show a lot of wrong images or videos with negative effect /as it was in beginning/, may be will fix itself again, but want to share my experience with reinstall and I use same google account.

Well my free trial is up and now it won't let me buy it, a little box keeps popping up saying 'We are unable to process your order at this time, but we will do so as soon as possible. Please check again here later. If you wish, you can cancel this purchase before we process it.'

terrible . pops up constantly . have to remove completely to get any work done. don't do it. I take it back. it is not easily removable. it is essentially a virus tha twill push a huge pop up in your screen every 15 or so seconds until you empower it do do what it wants, which is not made clear.

Uninstall - reinstall didn't work, still wants me to pay when I have, hope it fixes itself, as I can't live without it, the net is just too bright. The free alternatives don't look as good!

It keeps prompting to login on every chrome startup. I logged in thrice and its still bloody wants authorisation.

Even after login using gmail, this WASTE app keep interrupting to login.

Thanks to Google and advice. This is extension to kill all the white and do this well. I will take it in work too.

Hacker Vision started off great, and I've been using it for close to two years, but frequently when I want to disable or enable its features on a website and click on the extension's interface to do so, it will instead take me to a page to share it on twitter or google plus. Restarting my chrome doesn't solve the issue, and it is not a matter of clicking on the wrong option. Not worth your money, look into something else. I'm not going to renew my subscription after this time.

Unreliable subscription. Twice now where my I pay my yearly subscription and then a week or so later it randomly tells me my "free" trial has ended. Support is nonexistent. Developer does not answer to their customer emails. "Thanks for the extra $3.00!" Many bugs are always "This is actually a Chrome Store issue". Also annoying that you cannot at least turn off HV. If you had it in night mode it's now going to be night mode for all sites. Like Discord, making it horrendous to the eyes.

Used to work well but Chrome Version 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) (64-bit) breaks this extension. EDIT: version 2.6 restores functionality and works great again

I've been using this for more than a year now, but with the most recent chrome update, it's no longer working (and neither are other similar extensions like deluminate). Can this be fixed? Broke with Chrome Version 65.0.3325.146 (Official Build) (64-bit). I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, and restarting Chrome and Computer.

Having problem using on chrome Version 65.0.3325.146 (Official Build) (64-bit) turns everything slightly darker gray and not inverted. normally love how it works.

Moved to use Dark Reader because this stopped working after chrome update.

Chrome updated to version 65 today, and now this extension only slightly dims white backgrounds, whereas it used to turn them completely black. I have an eye condition that makes me extremely sensitive to light and I NEED the backgrounds to be black like they used to be. PLEASE UNDO THIS CHANGE.

inverts images and videos on reddit, never used to do that before

I paid for this and it has NEVER stopped nagging me to upgrade!That i a blatant rip off and I cannot believe Google let's this go on and on...!UPDATE: It is now several months latter and I STILL am being charged for this P.O.S. While I'm being charged, HV says on it's own landing page that it is a known bug in Chrome! and to unistall from the logo next to tabs, the click HERE to fix, only the uninstall deletes the fix it link as well!!! Another BS 'fix' that is just an excuse for them for charging you for Broken software that will NEVER be 'fixed'! And just try to get a response from HV OR Google...!

I don't understand why this has Facebook, Google and Twitter buttons which have access to all the the sites you visit? They're notorious for that, employees of these companies have admitted to this in various Project Veritas videos. I just want a simple dark theme, not all this spying attached to it from companies I have pretty much no voluntary interaction with.

Currently I paid for this app but is asking for the money again only a few days later. Not ok Old Review: I love this extension! I also use Firefox and really wish this was available there too!!!

I am very dissapointed. I have renewed my subscription and paid for it a few weeks ago. Now it is asking me to renew AGAIN even though it clearly has not been a year. There is no support page so I could not get help anywhere. Therefore I am forced to write you a bad review due to this. EDIT: Nothing, no contact since I have written this 4 days ago and I also wrote them 2 emails. Uninstalled it and switched to Deluminate, much better app, you can keep your $3 for your coffee.

Love it. Will you have my babies? Works great. Allows control on per site basis. Doesn't slow rendering of pages like the high contrast extension does.

Awesome addon! For some reason i can't pay licence after my trial has expired. When i click to buy it it just sends me to it's addon page

Okay so I've used this extension for about a year and it worked wonderfully until a couple days ago I started my google chrome and the new tab page was a blinding white color. The new tab page is the only time where this extension doesn't work.

You should be able to have a global setting for Hacker Vision to be "disabled" while letting you toggle and enable individual pages. Basically, you should be able to darken individual sites without having to have all sites darkened.

AT FiRST: it makes white things go dark - great. BUT it makes dark things go WHITE?????? Just a "color inverter"

Needs a whitelist that allows for users to specify webpages, entire domains, or wildcards somewhere in between to be excluded. Otherwise, it's pretty good..

I liked it for the first few days, but it just got annoying with adds just popping up for me to pay it. then my free trial ended and hacker vision is still working. I've tried everything to get rid of it but theres no way. IF you know how to get rid of hacker vision on a google chromebook please reply

This is great as being an IT and MechE professional for over 30+ years, you know the toll taken on your eyes when looking at monitors constantly. I never understood why they were going from black backgrounds to white a couple of decades ago. Using ProE, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, the colors stood out when against a black background. As I used to say to people, "do you stare at a florescent light all day? Same principle." One thing I do wish for/just noticed - I was on Google Maps and went to switch it from the dark background. It wants to switch all Google. Hmmmmm, I'd like to differentiate and "set it and forget it"

Tried it and decided there are many better extensions out there. I tried to remove it, but i received a dialog box advising that my free trial period had expired. Now, my screen is stuck with this extension in 'on' mode. Naturally, because my free trial period has passed, attempts to reinstall aren't taking me where I want to go. I just want to get rid of this thing. Any ideas?

I am legally blind and although I can see some if I enlarge the page enough I couldn't use the web without this extension.

It works but its a very simple inversion technique. It doesnt work with many sites that i visit either. Could also use a dimmer slider, like other extensions have. Not even worth paying for.

All it is is high contrast mode on chromebook!!!

It was hard to use and I couldn't figure how to get it off of my browser so i have to wait until my free trial ends.

Surprise! BLINDING white flashy popups on a regular basis to nag you into buying it. It is as bad as looking into the sun when that happens. I would have bought it (I bought WinRar because it was useful), if it didn't do that. But a program that behaves like that isn't one that I feel comfortable giving money to. It negates the whole purpose of using it.

I work with computers and it's a life saver. Works perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone working with computers or with sensitive eyes.

App doesn't recognize payment. Can't justify paying until that's fixed. Can't contact the developer for support. Functionality is great.

Brilliant extension, can't live without it! Recommend it to everyone who has to use a computer for more than 5h/day!

4 stars. Would have been five, but it periodically will decide that I haven't paid (I have) and disable itself. Which is a royal pain.

Not bad, but messes up too many colors needlessly (especially images). There are free and better alternatives; Dark Reader and High Contrast just to name a few. BTW, I like Dark Reader much better.

Helps reduce eye strain. I would get ocular migraines (flashes of pinpoint light) from working on a computer all day. After using this, I rarely get them if at all. Goes well with Windows High Contrast Dark Theme - and it looks baller.

What are the odds, that that was like my favorite youtube video a while back. I remember that vid, and what are the odds it's shown here...

All it did was invert colors which I can do in settings and isnt worth a dime. dont spend your money on it. also it invered my youtube video

Its cool but its a scam. you can do the EXACT same thing by going in settings and turning on high contrast mode. and guess what.... ITS FREE! and it works on not only your web browser, It works in your HUB!!

Absolutely, positively, essential! How do you LIVE without a dark-themed internet? Having problems with plugins that just do a dumb inversion of page colors? Hacker vision is a genius. Want to toggle it? Just press "shift + f12". Want some pages light and others dark? No problem, it remembers your settings per-domain. Best of all? It "just works".

Works great. Almost no complaints. When I open a pdf file or preview something in drive, its still white. Other than that, awesome
