Works well, did what I wanted, simple is the best.
Very well-executed. Compared to the other precious metal valuation extensions, this one is, hands-down, the best. That said, there are a few suggestions I would make: Make the tooltip configurable. Presently it shows GOLD, SILVER, GS RATIO. Make the text a string variable and use RegEx substitution to provide the values. Ex. Tooltip: "AU_Oz, AG_Gm - AG_TO | GSR" Would show "1092.37, .81 - 14.74 | 74.09" or GoldInOz, SilverInGram - SilverInTroy | GoldToSilverRatio, with the delimiters whatever the user set them to be. Add another unit! Gram price would be very nice, as opposed to making the user do the KG conversion. Platinum? Palladium? Rhodium? I'm not sure what your REST/AJAX interface is or what data you have available, but some additional metals would be sweet. In short, more of the same! FABULOUS extension, I just want MORE!
Fantastic extension. I just realized today that the price of gold is built into the display icon so I can see it at all times. Great for trading and investing. Also has a silver to gold ratio so I can milk disparities and trade between the two.

Nice and simple and allows for toggling between gold or silver showing as the icon.
Tracks real time AU/AG in U$D, perfect 4 my needs. If U want global spot, use another ap, KISS! Good pick.
No options to change country, currency etc.
