Simple, easy.
This has been working well for me for so long!! But after I UPDATED Chrome a few days ago this is NO LONGER changing google doc background to green colors :((( Hope the developer will see this comment soon!
What a great extension! p.s. I'd recommend a different default value, or at least a few defaults to choose from, like the gray one (code "c5c5c5") for example.

This one actually works!
Seems to work on most sites I've tried so far. I knew #dce6f2 was a background colour that worked well for me (you can check here: irlen.com just by clicking the little sunglasses at the top). This extension is customisable (i.e. pick the background colour that works for you) and seems to work on most sites. Makes reading on the screen a lot easier for me.
I would have given it 5 stars because it does the job very well but unfortunately It takes a few seconds until it tints the page and that can be very annoying during the night

The green background doesn't impact on reading information clearly, which is pretty good ! Although some areas of certain websites still white background. The main flaw is the low speed of changing the color into green.

Very simple and easy to use. An underrated app. If you are not looking for a dark background. The default green is the next best thing. Very pleasant and resting to the eyes. Update: I am using a grey background now: A7AAA8

Pretty much perfect. I haven't figured out the text color inversion yet so I keep a tan color to replace white.

i love it
I like it but it does take 1-2 seconds to apply itself if you refresh the page or navigate to a different web page, before which it's the usual blinding white, which is very harsh at night. Why we are still using this bright white background not only for web pages but also our File Explorer in Windows is completely beyond me. I don't think anyone likes the blinding white light, so why are we still doing this?
All google themes and other extensions change only the google homepage to a dark color and not the search results page. This one did for both of them. thanks

Only worked for some website. Needs to be modified to replace ALL backgrounds/images on every part of web page.
