Even with all the comments on this extension, I've started using it and it's great! Good for evading school blocks too.

Keeps on saying "connectPage.error"

DO NOT BUY INTO ZENMATE OR CYBERGHOST! ZenMate has went bust and sold out to CyberGhost. If you have paid for ZenMate you will not be able to use the Chrome extension which has the smart sites feature. This is the only reason I paid for a 3 year membership! CyberGhost is some small time company with outdated software and the chrome extension is a waste of time being so featureless it's useless to me. There is no paid option in the extension, there is no smart sites feature or anything like what I paid for when I bought ZenMate. The ZenMate Chrome extension apparently will stop working next month but it has been dead for months now with no support at all apart from a copy paste message that resolves nothing for anyone. I have never seen a review where their support helped. They were happy to take our money until they sold out. Such a shame, they were an ok VPN. I'm now on the hunt for a new VPN, which will 100% not be CyberGhost with their outdated software which is not even available for my operating system! Absolutely shocking, currently awaiting a refund before I contact my bank for a chargeback for removing all services that I have paid for.

It was working well in Iran before. Now although it shows successful connection, I cannot open YouTube, Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram anymore! I hope this lovely free VPN would be able to solve the problem for Iranians inside Iran.

Problem: The Free USA IP address connects and then just keeps BUFFERING & BUFFERING. Can your Tech Dept. check into this problem and correct it. The other three free countries connect and do NOT buffer all the time. I need the USA to work and open my special website. Thank you for caring!

The vpn is works good, it's the only vpn that helps me unblock websites in school. It's slows down the internet connection for me, idk if it's just the internet or the vpn problem, but i'll give it a 4 for now.

It was good for like 5 minutes then it always stops my wifi and now whenever i login, it barely works. it works like 2 times out of 20 times i try each day.

It worked fine for the last few years until now. It takes a while to connect to a server and after it does, it doesn't load and Chrome acts like there's no internet available.

This at the start seemed like a good FREE extension until when i tried to load photos and or play games my whole computer would lag and would bairley work i am very upset at the moment because i had high hopes for this product.

Have tried many vpn browser extensions and this one never disappoints. It does not bother me with logins, ads, and usage. Even works in Brave browser without hassle.

I guess I arrived here for a similar reason to other folks. More specifically in my case, since my mobile 4G provider (had to?) comply with U.K. legislation they blocked all access to VPN sites including one I signed up before the legislation came into effect - and to over a year ago now and I couldn't not log into (except via TOR). At first use with VPN on and CyberGhost enabled I can now access the Surfshark website and my account in order to communicate with them (auto renew enabled by default - which I object to). Time will tell, so far, so good.

Not accepted in Amazon Prime Video! maybe in other USA premium video streaming sites.

After couple of days this add-on sopped working in Chrome.

Free is loading slower and the streaming is horrible. But, service is usually good. As someone looking to expand the internet, your service is invaluable. You can see the direct violations of human rights and privacy in my country.

It worked fine before. sometimes I couldn't connect but removing and installing it againg would fix the problem. now it's not working anymore. also I tried Restore settings to their original defaults with no success. anyone have any suggestion?

It was the only vpn proxy for my browsers, very usefull but now I'v problem with it! it doesnt work correctly! before I was able too choose from list but now only on of the list country work randomly and when I choose my country like netherlands , it doesnt work and show not internet in explorer! :(

It doesn't even hide your real IP for sites that use geo-block...the simplest of things. Useless.

Dangerously bad documentation? "does not protect you from webRTC leaks." says the chrome store page for the extension, but the company's web server's page for the app (archive: xRwo7) HAS a check mark for WebRTC leak protection under "Chrome extension".

Overall a good and effective vpn. But it has two flaws which force me to use other vpc choices. One, there is no auto start feature so the vpn turns on each time the browser is open. Two, there is no manual selection of which server you are connected. Really these flaws just makes me use other vpns and I really wish cyberghost would improve their product by including these two features. Otherwise I have tested this vpn on multiple leak test websites and it has passed every single one. So it pains me to choose another vpn instead of cyberghost because it lacks some basic quality controls.
