I'm in marketing and got this to confirm my pixels are firing on the sites I manage. It's wild though how many sites have the pixel. This tool is very helpful for troubleshooting.

Why is Chrome asking for clipboard access permission for this extension recently?

Works, lets us know the pixel is triggering on our pages, but recently, it is not loading the description, giving us an error. And, any broswer is not happy seeing it, we get a console error. Could be the code out of date, but it is triggering, so not sure what is going on, still appreciate this extension!! Thank you!

Useful, but excessive permissions. I don't see any reason why it needs access to "Modify data you copy and paste." That has nothing to do with Pixel events on websites I visit.

No pixels showing in Piexl helper after hitting conversion pixel i.e. _fbq.push(['track','PIXEL_ID', { 'value': 0.00, 'currency': 'USD' }]); it showing blank pixel helper window but for others its working like Lead, PageView etc Please fix it.

I've been experiencing an irregularity since Feb 17th 2020. On Chrome/Linux, when I load certain pages using my product, the pixel counts exactly one of my custom events, no duplicates. However, on Chrome/Windows it counts the event a large random (changes from customer to customer) number of times, usually 100+ times. When I inspect the network though, only one call is made. Could this be a UI bug on the extension?

The extension is grayed out. It says facebook pixel helper no pixels found on google.com, ad and tracking blockers can prevent pixel fires. I disabled the ad blocker and still didn't work.

There's an issue with this extension. It slows down the attachment upload in Gmail. Pls check and resolve this irritating issue asap.

It is not working anymore. Don't waste your time installing this. The developer should announce this or remove this from web store.

Hey guys, The pixel didnt work in the beginning for me too. I update the version of the Google Chrome. Then I Just Turned Off the adBlock chrome extension. IF you have something like that, just turn it off. It starts working again .

Why does it show two pixels id's? I know I have one but it displays a pixel id number that I don't know, and its not in my code.

If it doesn't work, disable adblock! solved the problem for me!

This is a great plugin that seems to have stopped working for the most part. The Pixel Helper will show that a website doesn't have a Pixel installed but BuiltWith will, and I can find it in the website's source code. I'm not sure what the deal is, but for now, it's a useless plugin for me.

This is what worked for me. Used "Hard Reset" method Delete the facebook helper extension. Update Chrome. Relaunch Chrome. Re-install extenstion. hope that helps and i noticed it helped worked on developers.facebook.com i tried the apple website too but nothing.

This tool is now broken. It made me think my pixel wasn't installed in my store, but then I found the FB pixel page, and found out that the pixel is working.

Updating chrome helped to fix grey little box bug.

Stopped working a week ago. I've been using this for years now. It's like that since about the 4th or 5th of February 2019. I checked it on multiple websites that I know are working properly and have Facebook pixels firing. Nothing is displayed in the Extension now. It doesn't even open or do anything, it's just a gray block now.

Go to ABOUT GOOGLE CHROME.. update it and when it reopens the pixel will work :)

Ugh. Awesome until it stopped working. Tried everything... On a Chromebook, rebooted and am running Version 71.0.3578.127, uninstalled and re-installed the extension... Nothing... Ahhhhh, help!

This isnt working on my Mac pro. I installed it and everytime i click to see it nothing shows up.

The Facebook Pixel is not working. Even after I updated the chrome. When clicked, it shows only a gray box. How do you fix this?

If it stopped working for you on Chrome, you need to update it. For that click on the 3 dots top right -> Help -> About Google Chrome and the update should start automatically. Then just restart Chrome and you're good to go.

Great extension. Stopped working today (10th Feb) but after updating Chrome it returned.

It works great but yesterday morning it stopped working, but after updating chrome it worked again. FIx is go to the three dots in the top right corner, got to ->Help->about google chrome. After that, it will start updating your Chrome

It was working fine until today..when I click the icon a box doesn't load up, only a small white one. It has also stopped detecting pixels on websites that have pixels and has no number next to the icon. It was working yesterday fine lol

It's not working anymore. Shows a tiny white box when you click on it. Rubbish

I've tested it on the chrome 71 on another computer, and it works. And then, when the google chrome is updated into version 72, all pixel has a warning label, "We detected event code but the pixel has not activated for this event, so no information was sent to Facebook." Please update it so that it works to the current version. Because, it is not easy to disable chrome auto update. Thank you

This does not work - like many others have mentioned the icon is greyed out, even of sites I know have the FB pixel installed and firing. I have removed Ad Blocker and uninstalled/reinstalled Chrome. A waste of time.

Was working fine. Since the new chrome update - Version 72.0.3626.81 - it's stopped working.

For some unknown reason the extension has stopped working. We are not sure when this started but we just noticed this week that the extension has been empty and is consistently grayed out. At first we thought there was a problem with our store but when we check some of our competitors, it's the same. We tried all possible workarounds e.g. updating chrome and the extension itself, uninstalled VPN extensions that could cause ad blocking issues, etc., but still the problem couldn't be fixed. Anybody experiencing the same? Or does anyone know what's going on with this extension right now?

It's really good extension but can anyone suggest blog where i can learn how to use pixel with normal website (service provider site ) with only contact form page.

Does not appear to be working. Icon on is grayed out and cannot find pixel on previous tested sites.

Pixel helper isn't working for me now. I have tried about 10 different websites including mine and it doesn't pop up. It is just Grey colour. Usually when I click on websites a number will pop up and I can check the info. I don't have any ad blockers or anything. Just stopped working which I find really odd. Any way to fix this?

It is a good plugin to know what happen for pixel tracking but it also cause double firing event if you track custom event on click event when button is clicked. After disable this plugin, everything is fine. Please fixes this.

This extension would be more helpful if it didn't refresh each time a page load occurs. Feature request: let the user control when any output displayed in the extension is cleared.

If it isn't working disable adblocker if you are using one, I thought it wasn't working for me but this resolved it instantly, as the pixel was reporting activity on my facebook dashboard.
