Honestly a bit baffled at how this extension isn't 5 stars. It literally works as advertised. Install the extension, go to a youtube video, to the LEFT of the video title, you will suddenly see a printer emoji show up. Click the emoji, a pop-up asks you what type of file you want the transcript to be downloaded as and then it's downloaded instantly.
The extension places is a printer icon the left of the video title. Clicking the extension will bring you to the settings page .
This plugin would be amazing for me because I'm studying a different language. However, it doesn't seem to be working because youtube is constantly getting updated recently. I'm not sure if this is still being updated or not but if you could fix this issue I would be very grateful! And thank you for making it free
1. To all users: The download button appears on the bottom left of my YouTube view....IF you don't see the inscripton, "No transcript." Installed the extension and is activated but the transcript to download the transcript doesn't appear. Wonder if the developer has really tested the plugin before offering it here. Hope you can improve on this plugin.
I installed this extension for many days, but until today I haven't seen that download button. Is it possible that the button is not compatible with the current version of youtube?
Does NOT work! Also what is the purpose for required permissions to monitor google analytics sites?
