I can't remember when I first started using Bulk Image Downloader - maybe over a decade ago - it is great and the Chrome extension makes it very convenient. The author is always upgrading the software and is responsive if you ask about particular sites you may have trouble with. Top marks in my book.

This works like it should. I like the program's ability to queue downloads too.

This is a great application and browser plug-in. The developers are constantly making it better and respond to issues with certain sites. Remember, you get what you pay for!

Have been using the paid version for years. Occasionally it will be blocked from various websites but developers are quick to respond to make corrections. Developers are constantly upgrading the product. I wish all developers were this responsive.

Don't waste your money. Hardly used is as it failed on a number of websites and then stopped working completely and demanded more money for the latest version. Total scam.

Reading the reviews seems like everyone wants it for free. I paid up and it works perfectly well, exactly as advertised.

This is a fake and non-working app. It is only capable of giving you a notification to go to the website and pay for a windows application.

BID works, and saves a lot of time over the old right-click save as procedure on every individual photo. The interface could be more user-friendly, but it's not difficult to use. And it works!

Unfortunately plainly fails for downloading Facebook images, one of the advertised features. 2/5

Doesnt work

spent years doing the open-in-another-tab, save, delete, next... crappola. Finally looked around a bit, and found this extension/app. It works really well, if you take a bit of time to figure out how it works. Great for single pics, great for multi-page web sites. Cheap, too.

Excellent product! Easy to use and the UI is very intuitive! I have no reservations about recommending the software!

This product does exactly what it says it will do, I absolutely love it. It is a timesaver and a godsend. I had a problem with accessing a site and the next release fixed the problem. Worth every dime.

Wont work on Facebook no matter what i try. always get error image not found. Emailed support numerous times with no response.

The actual software that this extension integrates into your browser costs money, but I don't mind rewarding a developer for their hard work so if you're happy with that, this is good software. The site owners do try to block bulk downloading, but the developer of BID keeps up with them pretty well in a kind of "arms race" and so long as they do, this is far, far easier than right clicking every image! Recommended in my opinion.

BID works on most sites but on one or two it does say it works but it does not. I have tried the computation and they also have different bugs. The app does get updates. Which is what you want. It does cost but then it can do quit a lot of different thing free soft wear can't do. It is worth it. Now all they need to do is to make it more user friendly.

When it works on a website, it's a great timesaver and very powerful and flexible. But the challenge for the developer is keeping up with changes on a huge number of websites to keep it compatible and able to download images and video. It's still the best thing I've found for the job, though I haven't searched for alternatives for a couple years.

Perfect companion for the best image dl software available

I have had this extension for Firefox for many years now. when I purchased a license there were far far fewer choices in the marketplace. Those detractors who complain about the lack of customer support are not are wrong, however. If I was going to wish for one thing it would be for clear, easy to follow, remedial instructions for those of us who are simpletons and better customer support. Ultimately, I think the company that distributes a product that is easy to operate, easy to understand and has better customer support will be the big survivor in this marketplace. Hopefully, the boys and girls at BID will recognize that this is true and put a little more effort forward to allow a big beautiful audience to enjoy this product. It's good code and deserves that support.

The paid software is updated every couple of weeks to fix and/or add various sites. They DO respond to most email reports! It's definitely worth reporting sites where BID doesn't work right anyway. It truly is the best-in-class of bulk image downloaders!

LOVE this extension. Works GREAT on MOST sites. (a few PW protected sites, but that's NOT the application developer's fault). It is WORTH EVERY dollar for registration.

Used to be 5 stars now all of a sudden it doesnt work on onlyfans anymore. why did i pay for the updates and everything if it doesnt work when i need it to...

Best FREE downloader I've used. Sure, there's always a battle between the downloaders and the providers who want you to see 786,000 ads for each photo you want to see. At least BID is on the forefront and constantly making their product better. Triple your money back if you're not satisfied!

The author of this software fails to clearly state that the program which costs $40 a year, will no longer function without paying to keep it updated. I have reported this deceptive sales practice to both the Firefox and Chrome stores.

Does relatively well out of the box. I cannot get it to download multi-page galleries; wgDownloader is the best in that capacity, but it has become difficult in the last year thus making room for BID.

this extension is great, makes downloading off websites so much easier, I understand that not all sites are compatible, but sometimes sites get updated and extensions may stop working, other than that, it is an outstanding extension

Doesn't even work on its newest version. Downloading images doesn't work whatsoever, and parsing images is finnicky :/

This is the only bulk image downloading software I have found that actually works! It does what's it's supposed to and even finds your registration code if you have lost it. Yes, you have to pay for it and yes after three years you must pay around twelve dollars to update the software. However, that's a small price to pay for the excellent quality of this software.

Worth the 20 bucks. If you don't want to pay all you have to do is limit the download list to 100 per run. It's pretty nice actually.

This is a the best image downloader by far. Very easy to use if you read the manual. One of the few apps of this type that just works.

Doesn't work on simple, commonly available galleries. Able to find thumbnails, but not source images. Tried on multiple sites. Waste of time.

Used it for years - works perfectly as it's intended. Some sites can require a bit of setup and are less automatic but always quicker and easier than 'right click, save as'.

If you read the description, you will see that this is an extension to a program that you will need to purchase. Spend the money. It is so worth it! This is an awesome program. It does everything it says, and in an orderly manner. This has saved me thousands of hours in downloading images for a history project that I have been working on. Just input the parameters and let the tool do all the work of relabeling, collecting and downloading.

Long time registered user. Started using Google Chrome and installed the extension to incorporate BID into the right-click menu. Works great. When a graphics site updates their source(s), BID is fairly quick to update the application. I work in the tech field, so the original source is still what drives whether BID can access it. Report a site and BID developers will try!

Requires standalone installment, complicated design, demands money. I can't really even try it, seems not working for all sites and all browsers.

I've been using this software for years and for the price you really couldn't beat it. However it now no longer works with Insta and there's been no update to resolve that so far after more than a month. Not sure how much longer this will be a useful tool

this program works exactly as described and it's the only one I have tried that actually downloads all images on a page even ones you would normally have to click a thumbnail first in order to take you to the full image. Saves me sooo much time, and its cheap! my renewal was 12.95. Yes you have to install it to windows as well as in chrome or firefox as an extension, but it's a very small program. It won't hurt you or your computer, i promise. it doesn't bite

Great image downloader. This extension needs paid app. It worth the money - the app supports many of sites for image downloads and developers are constantly improving it. A lot of websites changes its code, so sometimes app doesn't work but in short time it is fixed. I am using BID for years and I am very satisfied customer.

It works well on some sites, but not at all on others. "Support" is non-existent. I've emailed them several times about a site and they won't respond.

If you use chrome 64 beta you will need to type the following command out in a command prompt to eliminate the error BID gives. mklink /j C:\Users\Your-User-Name\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\ "C:\Users\Your-User_name\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome Beta\" I love this program but their developers dont seem to be in any hury to fix this chrome beta bug. this will fix it

This is without a doubt the best image downloader I have ever used. I bought it over 5 years ago, and use it every day. Simple setup and a breeze to use. It always works as it should, and downloads files other downloaders miss. It is regularly updated for free to include new websites and changes, like when Google screws with Google Images. If you find a site it doesn't cover, an email to customer service will correct that in no time. I've tried them all and this is the King.

Too flakey, never sure of what I was going to get. Too many instances when there are hundreds of images but it only shows a few dozen. When there is a large collection, which it shows, it stops on errors and may not start again. I just did a 4 part download of one page by deleting from the new presentation what had been downloaded previously. With Yahoo, it showed a part of the collection and got errors on every download. CS was no help.They asked the obvious questions and suggested logging in from BID and dropped me when that didn't work. Sort of like putting your money in a slot machine. Better than nothing, a dubious compliment.

The best gallery downloader I've ever used. Used it for just over two months and it works flawlessly. Worth the money.I'll update this if I ever have a problem with it. So far, all good.

Initially, I got very very frustrated with this software cause I was wanting to try it. I kept getting hung up because of the free trial. After reading several reviews from other places on the web. I decided to pull the trigger on the paid version. I am very happy with it! UPDATE 6/27/2018: I have been using this software for about 1 month. WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY. For those complaining about it not being free. Seriously, why do we always expect something to be free. Do you work for free?

This is a joke, I have extension that download files. You have to add more software from their site, which costs money. I was just checking this out. I would not recommend it.

I use BID in Firefox,Pale Moon, Chrome & IE and have been for a year now. I have had no issues with it what so ever. The only niggle is that every time Windows 10 does a massive upgrade the system does not recognize the BID registration.Just by clicking the 'I've lost my registration number' triggers a reply with the registration number within 10 seconds. For all those who rate BID one star must posses the same number of brain cells. It's not 'rocket science' to use - once you have it you only have to download, install and enable the extension for each browser. So simple to use IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Thanks keep up the good work.

I have been using VSDIF ever since it first appeared years ago and have loved it since. The price for the software is minimal compared to the excellence of the program. The extension required is only a part of it and it makes the software easier to use.

Great software. The software isn't free, but it's the best for the bucks. With constant upgrades to the newer versions throughout the year it easily keeps up with image sites.

Doesn't even detect all the images in the FB post. Amateur work. Useless to me.

If you can't figure out how to install this software outside of the chrome web store... Well you probably shouldn't even be using this program in the first place. Sorry, that was rude.But It's really not that much more of a process... At all. And yes this is a add-on that functions only to make the main program that much more useful, and that it does. Honestly people, it's inexpensive to buy, tech support is always happy and ready to help if you are having trouble, there is no need to give a poor review because you are incompetent. Frankly BID just works better than any other similar software I have tried. And trust me I have tried soooo many others that claim to do the same or similar things and most do not work half as good as BID if at all. Anyway if you are looking for software that is simple, reasonably priced, backed with great support, and actually delivers what is promised. Look no further.

I have used BID for a year and consider it a quality tool well worth paying for. Keeping it up to date in the face of website security is obviously an on-going costly task and it is only fair that in the medium and long term if you chose to upgrade it, you should pay. Perhaps a clear statement on the intro page may avoid disappointment for those looking for a long term free ride.

Its windows only compatible but absolutely, bar none, the best and most flexible image downloader available on any platform. If you are on a mac, its worth installing bootcamp or parallels and installing windows. wish there was a mac version, my only gripe...

How well this app works depends completely on how well you understand it's rule-system and settings. No, it doesn't work perfect on all sites but it doesn't claim to. It's the best image downloaded i've seen and i've seen most all of them.

~ I have been using this extension for many years (since 2007) and it has performed flawlessly . . . ~ it does what it says on the tin. ~ I have downloaded series of images from simple 2 - 1,000's in one shot . . . ~ However, as the internet has grown, many sites have upgraded the security coding, thus changing the way this application can download the images. ~ I have noticed this, that was once a bulk download has turned into only a single page download and the rest of the pages simply don't follow through as before ~ this is NOT the fault of this application (rather) the upgraded coding to the sites were images are placed and stored. ~ I also will state, that I was just - "used to" - being able to download the images in BULK w/o doing any addition setting modifications to the application. ~ I need to rethink this and get down to - "tweaking" - the settings so that the images will download as previously. ~ ALL in ALL this application does its job and its also NOT FREE, you have a trial version/period which allows you to try it out, then you have to purchase a key, to unlock the rest of the application. ~ this is a yearly license key and the price is easy enough on the wallet to do so.

I have been using BID since 2007 and it's absolutely the best product out there! Stability, options, quick response from support of alternative products don't even come close to BID's. BID needs to be installed for Chrome BID extension to work and it is not a free product, but it is worth every penny!!! I'd give 10 stars if there was an option! Thanks!
