If you use an add-blocker disable it until you sign in to your Samsung account in this add-on, once you do that you can enable it again. If you use Brave browser you must disable Shields on account.samsung.com page to sign in. ?

Can't sign in

The extension seemingly import Chrome bookmarks to Samsung cloud ok (I can see them listed), but the bookmarks don't synch from the cloud to the phone at all. Does anyone from Samsung even respond to these reviews?

The sync is broken, I am unable to sign in.

Downloaded this extension to Brave browser on my Galaxy book2 Pro 360 a couple of months ago, and it worked fine. Now it doesn't work at all. Won't let me log in.

Extension has stopped working on Chrome on Arch Linux. Still works on Chrome on Windows 11 but I had to sign in again. On Linux I just get a blank window with an endless spinner when I click on the extension. Needs fixing before I drop Samsung Internet browser on my mobile devices...

Woke up to the extension showing an error, required a permission, allowed it, tried to log in to my account and could't, "we page did not respond on time error" when it showed me the code authentication, this extension is broken !! Fix this please.

I'm trying to move my Samsung Internet Bookmarks (I have several hundred-- and subfolders as well). I was able to get the Samsung Internet Extension for Chrome to load all of my Samsung Bookmarks (yay) ... UNFORTUNATELY, they are encapsulated to exist only in the SI extension!!! I cannot import them into Chrome's bookmarks directly (because it wants an HTML file!). THIS EXTENSION NEEDS A FEATURE TO NOW SAVE ALL OF THE ENCAPSULATED SAMSUNG INTERNET BOOKMARKS (subfolders with more bookmarks, etc.) AS AN (EXTERNAL) HTML FILE-- for true portability and the ability to properly IMPORT the Samsung Internet bookmarks directly into Chrome's bookmarks. My end goal is to port these bookmarks to Chrome on my new Motorola cell phone-- which I can't achieve now.

This extension worked efforlessly with my S21 FE, not sure why it isn't working for others though. Either way the options you have in this extension are what you'd expect and all you need to sync your bookmarks. Automatic syncing on a schedule or whenever bookmarks are added would be a nice feature but overall pleased with this.

Sync does not work. I am signed in to the same Samsung account on Chrome and Samsung Internet, but the sync fails on the extension every time. I reported this to Samsung in August and didn't get a reply. The December update was meant to fix syncing issues but it hasn't. I have again contacted Samsung with a screenshot.

Sync doesn't work

It does not work for me. Tried syncing my bookmarks on both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome along with my Samsung Galaxy A51, it does not work.

Finally you did "something". BUT.............................. IT'S MISSING A FEW THINGS: - Make both browsers sync BOTH ways!!! When I add or delete a thing from Samsung Internet, it should change on Google Chrome as well! Add an option to the extension plugin for "syncing both ways"! - Auto-update the synced bookmarks!!!!!!! Everyday my bookmarks get changed, and when I check the extension it's still the ones I synced manually... That's a NO, make the extension AUTO update or sync the bookmarks as soon as I changed them! - Add for the extension plugin and Samsung Internet, the option to import and sync "autofill data as well!! Like passwords, addresses, etc! - Also, please remove the "Add bookmarks" button from the mouse right click menu!! I always add bookmarks by mistake because of it. Doing this will make us NOT miss Chrome on Android. But if you could do what Brave browser does against pop-up new tabs and ads, you'd have the perfect browser on Android......... But you don't care!!

I'm using it on Opera and it works flawlessly - sync is always fast (within minute), no problem with duplicate or missing bookmarks

I know it's in Beta, but doesn't excuse how bad it is. 1. It took me several attempts to get it to actually sync the bookmarks from Chrome to Samsung the first time. 2. It only worked on the initial sync. It does not sync automatically (not sure if it's supposed to). And even when I manually trigger "Sync Now" on the extension, it does not do anything. (Note this is Chrome -> Samsung) 3. Extension keeps logging itself out. It keeps asking me to login every 2 days or so. And even when I click "Skip 2FA next time on this device", it still keeps asking me to enter 2FA. 4. Samsung support is no help whatsoever. Endless redirects, and when someone finally replied to the support ticket, they misunderstood the question and basically told me to do the exact same thing I said did not work. And worse, there was no way to reply to the support ticket even though the ticket email specifically said to reply if there are any concerns. To anyone reading, if you don't like Chrome on Android and want to have a synced browser on desktop, instead of using Samsung's browser, just use Firefox on both and save yourselves the headache of dealing with this.

One week later, the extension is still stuck on "Syncing". This is NOT a good look if you want users to use your mobile browser....

Used to work great then just stopped on day months ago. Tired to uninstall and reinstall today and it just gives a loading wheel. Completely useless now for me.

Can't even sign in after I input my password, it's just stuck. Please fix it!

Lot of negative reviews but the extension does exactly what it says so five stars from me.

I was initially concerned, by all the bad reviews about this extension. While it took a few tries, I finally got the synchronization process working.

It barley serves its purpose. It syncs on occasion. It has not method or sorting or even rearranging the Samsung Favorites. While it has it advantages and I enjoy using it, its limited options give it limited use. Why not try to become a full fledge browser with all the options and advantages of the Big Boys.

Imports Chrome bookmarks to the extension, but it stucks loading and loading and never syncs to samsung cloud. Also managed to mess up all my bookmarks on edge (PC)

This works perfectly on Microsoft Edge for Windows 10. However, on Microsoft Edge for macOS Big Sur, after signing into my Samsung account, the extension encounters an error with the message "account.samsunginternet.com's server IP address could not be found." samsunginternet.com doesn't appear to be owned by Samsung, so I'm not sure why the extension is trying to access that domain.

Dose exactly what is described. Syncs your chrome bookmarks to Samsung Internet. However I just found out it will sync your Edge bookmarks as well (I've switched over to Edge). Just install this extension, use it like normal, but instead of seeing your Chrome bookmarks in the "Chrome Bookmarks" folder it creates in Samsung internet when you sync, it will have your Edge bookmarks inside it.

Was great while it lasted, on Vivaldi, when i login, after i get the 2FA sorted, it then fails to load the success page that the extension requires.

The extension works.

Only seems to log in the first time you install the extension. After that subsequent attempts to log in result in a spinning wheel. Only way to fix it, is to remove extension and then add again.

Please include auto sync or sync when bookmark is altered as I have to manually go and sync the bookmarks.

This extension fails to sync Chrome bookmarks to Samsung Internet. The real UI is different from the UIs in instructions, so nothing can be done to import Chrome bookmarks to Samsung Internet.

this is only good to copy your current bookmarks from google chrome to your samsung internet, but does not sync. It's a massive difference between copy and sync

This jacked up all my Chrome bookmarks because when save a bookmark in the Chrome folder on Samsung device it does not sync...so, now, my Chrome bookmarks are a mess...it just imports Chrome bookmarks but that is almost 1-star useless. Again, it doesn't sync Chrome bookmarks...so, pay attention...

Utter garbage. I Like the browser on Android but this program to sync bookmarks is useless and just screwed up my folder structure.

Now in 2020 the app seems to work how its supposed to. I'm writing this from the new edge browser.

Have to sign back into Samsung account constantly. It will NOT sync Chrome book marks no matter how many times you try to do it.

I get automatically logged out every single time and then I have to sign in again.

Can't sign in on Chrome in Hong Kong area, i believe it is a problem of current chrome version as the page works on edge. But, since it left chrome platform, the chrome extension wouldnt recognize the sign in.

Such Garbage, Can't sync my 1000 bookmarks from chrome to samsung browser, what even the point is this?

Simply doesn't work for me. Can't sync anything at all between Chrome Add On, Samsung Browser Beta and Samsung Browser (both samsung browsers are in my phone). I still use Samsung Browser for the dark mode and best battery saving for my phone, but if you want to sync bookmarks, forget Samsung Browser and stick to Chrome. Too bad, Samsung could have owned the large chunk of the Android browser market if sync and password managers works as I still use it even without those functions.

The whole point of this extension is to keep your Chrome bookmarks in sync with Samsung Internet on your mobile device. Unfortunately it only syncs manually, so if you create a new bookmark in Chrome, you have to click 'Import' to see it in Samsung Internet. On top of that obvious fail, I keep getting signed out randomly. HORRIBLE!

This is a great product as Samsung Internet has great features, but then on Desktop chrome is great.

Works with Chrome, Edge, Brave, but not Vivaldi, so I guess I cannot sync with my Raspberry Pi and S10 phone. Fail. Please communicate with browser vendor to fix issue if possible.

Pretty Simple Actually! Took me a while to get it going but once I read it a few on the steps part, it all made sense. We will see if Google will sync as we go but for now, simple!

It will not load tried many fixes but it just sits there loading and loading it's a shame it seems like a good mobile browser.

Only works for a few hours - after exiting Chrome, restarting Chrome, then re-signing in to this extension (which often doesn't work anyway!). After going to all that trouble, I sometimes STILL get the blank UI/forever loading icon when I try to bookmark. So then I have to repeat the above process. Look at all these other people with the same problem! Get this sorted out, Samsung! Your Android browser is good, but 7/10 times this extension is NOT.

It works but when adding a bookmark, on the device it is originally added, you have to click the sync button and then on your other device(s) you have to click the sync button before the bookmarks will appear. As long as you are okay with having to sync them then it works.

Its nice initiative, but problem was history sync, can you add that? Then We can easily access our browsing stuff between phone and pc.

It's so bad. It really is. Constant syncing issues with my phone's bookmarks, bookmarks I removed on my phone reappear on this chrom addon on my pc, and bookmarks I've added keep disappearing. It forces you to sign in every couple of times Chrome is closed, or if the computer is rebooted. Sometimes, even after signing in it just shows nothing. These developers should be ashamed of themselves.

With the latest update on the Mobile Browser Beta, bookmark folders within folders aren't syncing on mobile.

Been trying to minimize using Chrome on my phone for the longest time. Still need the desktop version though. Samsung mobile browser beta version + this add-on is probably the best of the options here. It works fine, but: a) to import existing/add new Chrome bookmarks to Samsung you need manually click "import" every time, there's no auto-sync. b) New Samsung bookmarks do sync automatically, but only about once in two hours. You can manually force-sync from the Chrome extension settings screen, but otherwise there's no speeding it up. I'm okay with manually updating bookmarks every time, but I do wish there was an easier way. At least an option to set the schedule/frequency? I guess continuous cross-syncing might be too hard to do; but I'd like to be able to pick and set both Chrome and Samsung bookmarks to auto-sync every 2 hours/1 hour/30 minutes/15 minutes. Please consider.

Was hoping to use it for syncing open tabs between Chrome for Windows and Samsung Internet since open tabs are synced with Samsung Cloud. Does not seem possible at the moment so i go back to using Pocket.

I don't understand why Quick Access bookmarks are not synchronized as well. On my mobile phone, I only use Quick Access for saving bookmarks.

Nice concept but doesn't really work. Doesn't always sync changes made on phone, even when forcing a sync. But what makes it totallyunusable is that the folder structure on the phone is completely ignored and it just syncs one long flat list of all bookmarks. It's a shame it doesn't work as the browser is great on the phone but I wanted to use my bookmarks in Chrome too. Unfortunately the phone browser can't export bookmarks so can't import manually into Chrome either.

Working just as announced. I get all my Chrome bookmarks in my phone and tablet Samsung Browsers. Very nicely done!

It keeps logging me out! Forcing me to sign in all over again like almost every time I start up chrome. What gives!? Also, edits to Chrome Bookmarks on my Note 8 doesn't sync back to the Chrome browser!

The only problem I have with this extension is that it doesn't automatically sync on Chrome. I have to go in and manually do it. It work as intended otherwise.

Very useful, but it lacks an updated and correct userguide.

Doesn't work. Sometimes cannot log in, only white black screen with endless indicator. Or sometimes I can try to log in, but after log in there are some unknown json data is shown(access token or something) and that's all.

Login page in the extension turns to a 404 Not Found message after attempting to log in.

Really annoying that I have to sign in EVERY time I start Chrome! The extension is also too dumb to realize that I've been logged out, so I have to manually sign out, fight with the extension to get back to the login screen (sits there blank with a spinning circle), and then sign in again. Every. Time.
